If you are a new player I would just do regular Keepers League. It'll have the most items for trade and normal Path of Exile mechanics. It goes away in like 3 weeks but you should be enough time for you to get familiar with the game a little bit before next league . Francia is a special harder event with more difficulty mods, new kind of balance but not really concept the sentences that they didn't use but gave us for limited events to have fun with and a alternative to the end game mapping tree using items instead of points on your end game mapping skill tree
