For some reason my initial install was through steam in some part, and my microtransactions stopped working, so i just uninstalled steam, but it deleted a few files that poe was using in some way. Most of the game is still in my computer, but when i am installing/updating poe, thats when i get the error, a few seconds into downloading the current patch

i was playing poe, and when i boot up poe, steam would also boot up first, somehow they were linked. Someone in game told me steam causes issues with microtransactions sometimes, and thats what I couldnt access in game, and the in game overlay wasnt working. So i uninstalled poe, and steam, and now I can't download POE again, it stops at like 1% with an error message

yeah, and it intuitively makes sense that slowing is actually rather strong because getting slowed yourself is like one of the most dangerous parts of endgame lol. A lot of deaths can be attributed to grasping vines/slows/t17 speed mod etc. preventing the player from doing their thing. And monster speed can be bad too. Basically the equilibrium of player and monster speed is important
