while spells just treat their weapons as a ball of stats, so they can benefit from the stats of both weapons every time they cast a spell

Toxic rain isn't great for poison. But in general poison just cares about your flat dmg and then applicable scalars:

1. Damage over time
2. Damage with ailments
3. Global damage
4. Damage with bow skills
5. Physical damage if the base dmg that poisons was ever physical.
6. Same as 5. for all 5 damage types (phys, light, cold, fire, chaos)
7. Chaos damage (cuz poison itself is chaos damage)
   Notably these do not work:
8. Hit damage
9. Attack damage
10. Melee damage
11. Projectile damage
12. Spell damage
13. Area damage
14. Damage with a specific weapon type (bow dmg etc)
