Playing a bunch of squishier builds this league has reinforced my decision to only play builds that can reasonably scale into facetanking Uber Shaper slam while still having Uber-level DPS. And like, does this limit my build options a bit? Yeah, but honestly the build depth of PoE is easily large enough that even with that significant of a restriction I still have a near endless variety of new builds to play, with more coming out each league at a rate faster than I can play through them.

realistically you'd probably optimally use less uniques lmao, I just found that while trawling the high phys max hit builds with lots of uniques to find something interesting. Foulborn Ghostwrithe, Rathpith, and Crown of Eyes are required, but the Kaom's Roots are just QoL and tankiness, the Hands of the High Templar is just to get some okay stats like base crit chance and frenzy charge, and the Headhunter is definitely not required lmao
