This is build defining for me.

Previously I gave my Carrion Golems Minion Life so they wouldn't die. But now that I have a level 4 empower, I can use that instead of Minion Life as the +3 levels will still give them enough toughness to live, but also make them provide a larger buff to all my other minions.

And this will get even better when I get an ideal convoking wand with an open prefix. I can bench craft "+2 level to socketed support gems" on it.
