is the source of your confusion?

if you have 1 aura and that stat, and you get 100% inc effect of non-curse auras, that 2% will become 4%

because it's also part of the aura

if that's not it, try to express the question in clearer terms

otherwise, it could just be breakpoints

i.e. you need to hit 100% effect for some number to round up instead of down

so the 1% that hits 100% is more valuable than the 1% that hits 99%
