So i should with 20 % exceeeding accurracy + crit nodes have 6.8 % EXTRA
and not just 6.8 % in total
Based on what i can see im missing 5 % crit
this is 20 % exceeding by now
meaning i should get 5 % extra crit. + 1.8 extra from three, but i ONLY have those, and missing base crit it seems
anyone using molten crash skill from fury of the king unique talisman?
did + to melee skill for example from amulet / gloves affecting the molten crash skills?

You can test this easily in game. Just watch your crit stat in the skill

Consider that the rage on hit is still a more multiplier skill gem, and the frenzy charges are more on top of that

QoL wise eternal rage is very good
While eternal rage makes it easy to maintain, you probably do more damage with the others
but with frenzy i can get 25% skill speed

That oracle crit is cool, but honestly it's not actually necessarily increasing damage. It does affect on crit stuff, which is what I would mainly build it around
Unless you have 25% or more crit chance and a whole pile of crit mult it's not doing that much for you outside of crit effects

Eh, no, you can build into it for sure. But the main thing is definitely crit effects. But you need less actual crit to have good multi on it. Like really around 25% crit is good for then just stacking multi

Basic crafting before maps and loads of currency for omens is base white item and slam for a couple good stats, then essence to rare for a stat you want, then desecrate for the 4th. That should get you a decent item, then you can exalt slam to fill the gaps

I wanna make a bear build and i am in progress but i wanna know how to get mroe damage. i mean for normal enemies i do so much damage, not one shotting but i am trying to kill jamanra and i do like 200 dps per bear slam i do. anyone know how to boost my damage really much? cus right now im doing absolute nothing to bosses..

Armour Break can be found on the tree and on some support jewels. It reduces an enemies armor, which means they take more physical damage. That also means you get more stun buildup

Try and get plus levels but yeah thats not the worst. If youre on jamara that's the hardest point in the game for any build unless you get some really nice leveling gear

definitely take Sigil of Ice (you will nearly always chill enemies anyway, so that is more efficient than the other side). Invest in the bear paw (none of those need bear to function, only that you are shapeshifted)

Ur problem is ur trying to make a one button build early game, you need to have another dps skill until you get like lvl 80-90 w better gear to maintain flicker strike
unless you are able to completely stun/shutdown the bosses, you need to be able to perhaps take some damage at least. Viper does not even have regen, so you could theoretically defeat her with 1 DPS
Flickerstrike got nerfed and before that it didn’t usually come online till later unless you had crazy gear
Now ur trying to a nerfed skill come online earlier than it was pre nerfed

I would say you run chaos trial until you can do it. That gives you gear as well
that is exaclty what i was following but it seems like flicker is not good and i cant find a solution to charged staff not actually charging couldnt use it once...
oh and perhaps change the Rage support to life leech on shred. Gives you more survivability
you need to manually get the charges for charged staff and when you have a long buff, you get the charges for flicker.

hey guys playing a coc comet frostbolt stormweavercurrently. pretty early on in the progression and i feel like im barely getting any energy for my coc even though i have 115 percent energy gain mod and 80 percent crit chance on frost bolt?
so a map is starting with whirling assault until you have (nearly) max charges, then charge staff, do it again until you can flicker. once charged staff runs out, do it again.
Maybe Hit and Run in Flicker is an issue if you say "I can't flicker"
but i m not having charges at all with wirling assault, for flicker now it's just a dash a stupid one time dash
so i think the real problem is why i am not getting charges

If they are different gem levels, I believe they do. So you can have one buff with Vitality I and one with Vitality II, but not both with Vitality II. Nor can you have Vitality I and Vitality II socketed to the same gem, obviously
question, why do a lot of rathpith builds take just ES nodes on the tree? Maybe I'm missing something lol

Captain Lance is using it on a calamity bear build to get Malice for crit chance. I think the reason it's in the game is for minion shapeshifter builds with wolves, but I've heard wolf summons are bad
Still in campaign but so far every build I've been watching has no updates or has quit
Unfortunately I've heard only bad things about wolves. Apparently they're buggy, have low damage, and AI issues

I'd like to try to use a Tame Beast companion on a Druid, but that gem requires like 150 dex at lvl 20; does anyone know if there are ways to make that requirement easier to satisfy? Like an equivalent of the rune that converts an item's requirements to another attribute, or an equivalent of Jarngreipr or something?
Probably Freezing Mark is what I'll throw into POunce, I like freezing things
depends on what you're trying to use the Beast for. If you're just after an aura, use the minimum level (59 ish dex)? and socket it with Brutus' Brain lineage gem so it never dies.
Really though you've just got to bite the bullet and get the dex. A stellar amulet with +all stats and + dex can get you a huge part of the way there, espeically when combined with +stat quality orbs.
The Gemling Legionaire can ignore gem reqs entirely, but obviously you can't be a druid then.
In addition to getting to 75 Chaos res (and without any Ascendancy shenanigangs like Smith of Kitava), what would be the best way to further mitigate Chaos damage? Particularly DoTs

Apparently, there are only only two ways to add damage mitigation for chaos dots:
- Up to +3 max from shield suffix (Desecrated and Fractured versions available)
- Go CI.
Option B: Add More Regen seems to be the way to go.
the notion of a CI Shieldbonk seems doomed to fail due to stun threshhold reasons and hurts my brain anyway

mutiplicative would be that it takes the damage they already do, and multiplies it by that amount
increased is that its added into the other % increases, before any multiplciative ones (more, and crit damage)
so basically if he gets more multiplicative damage it will go up even higher because im adding more additive.

Based on every other source of increased damage. Everything that says "increased" gets combined into one big multiplier.

Crit is another multiplier, if you did a crit it adds critical damage bonus equal to % of your damage (+100% by default)
increased crit chance is increaseing your base crit chance
more crit chance is a more modifier on that value
same rules apply, increased is additive together, more is multiplicative

Heya! The "Attack Speed" on the ice fragment description of shred. Does it limit how many times shred can trigger ice fragments? F.E., if i hit frozen foe 3 times in a secound, but have an ice fragmant attack speed of one secound, I would only get one trigger?

there are a few skills which spend rage to be stronger and/or to be used. This makes them able to be used more frequently

rages inherent effect is more attack damage but there are other things to use rage for that might not care about having attack damage, for instance maybe you are using spells, so the more attack damage doesnt matter for you
some skills like rampage and flame breath need rage for their duration to be prolonged
which is a lot more than just "slight"
although sadly that Primal Hunger node and shamans "druidic champion" node dont work together
but yes it is a hefty downside

Is there a sort of support or plant based build with Naviras's Oasis you can do?
its kinda clunky cause you need to cast plant spells AND make chilled ground and then use the oasis to overgrow your plants. you could definitely do it, but there are far easier ways to overgrow your plants
I see, and you'd probably wanna be weapon swapping to have decent plant spells and decent minion command effects.
probably yeah but weapon swapping is pretty smooth now so that wouldnt really be that bad
also oasis has like a 12 second cooldown or something right? not a very consistent or reliable way to overgrow your plants unless you only care about having it for bossing or something
which, to be fair, entangle when properly set up is very strong and can easily clear t15 maps without being overgrown
Oasis is at 8 seconds, which can be dropped with minion cooldown recovery rate nodes
but thunderstorm is such an easy and free way to overgrow that its hard to look at other options

I think its because maces are the only warrior weapon atm. Lots of people don't want a slow hard hitting melee weapon, they want axes and sword playstyles, but are forced to play it slower, so they feel like all warrior combat is slow. When we get swords and axes a lot of that heat will die down, and the true heavy bonkers can enjoy their playstyle in peace without people not understanding why they hate it.

Generally damage doesn't scale with dex, str, or int unless it says it does
For most builds the main point of stats is just to meet gear and gem requirements, not for scaling

Rarity doesn't inherently mean high damage. Rare just have more mods, uniques just have special fixed mods

general warrior leveling is rolling slam to prime stun for boneshatter, drop eq on anything that survives, then take perfect strike and infernal cry to delete bosses. Then you either go leap slam + boneshatter for clear or you go shield stuff.

I'm kinda struggling on druid at lvl 75, I can clear up to like tier 7 maps but I feel incredibly squishy and way lower maps. Which seems weird because I have like 70% armor, max res, and like 1.5k health (like 400 energy shield). I also have charge regulation, barksin, scavenged plating, and time of need, so I feel like I shouldn't be feeling squishy on like tier 3 maps even. I could be doing something wrong
I'm following this build but I don't have the from nothing diamond or the top right swirl defensive nodes finished near the beginning of the tree
Maybe weird question how viable is mana stacking up with mana flare for scaling a skill's damage?
1.5k life and 400 energy shield isn't a ton. And the problem with armor is that it's more effective against small hits but not as good against big hits (and also by itself doesn't protect you from ele damage, although you can change that, and it does nothing to help with DoTs). Charge Regulation, Barkskin, Scavenged Plating, and Time of Need also all mostly help with smaller hits (since Time of Need just heals occasionally and the other three mostly just boost your armor)
Basically it sounds like you're very protected against phys hits and maybe ele hits that aren't too large but not very protected against big hits, chaos, or DoTs. Also it looks like you haven't spent any ascendancy points in that picture?

Honestly it's not an easy problem to solve, unfortunately. Defenses are in a weird state right now. I'm lower level than you on my druid so I don't really know how to get tanky, and I've even seen streamers who tend to play very tanky characters having trouble with it. I just have enough game knowledge to explain why the defenses you described might not be as good as they sound and why you could still feel squishy with them

In general something to remember with armor is that the % it shows on your stat screen is an estimate, not a fixed number, since armor is more effective against smaller hits. I always kind of hated the misleading % reduction number in PoE1 and they made it even more prominent in PoE2
It's weird because last season I played an invoker monk and it felt way tankier than this even at the beginning of maps. And all I had was evasion, energy shield, and ghost dance
I have a Question about the poison burst toxic growth build.
Later you add Herald of Blood to the kit. And im thinking why actually? The damage it does is VERY small and the only usecase i can see is to transfer poisons to enemys arround with sup gems but herald of pleague already does teh job for that.
So what do i miss here?

If I get the zealot's oath node (excess life recovery from regeneration is applied to energy shield) and eternal life (life cannot change while i have energy shield), would that basically make any sort of healing that I get to apply to my energy shield as long as I have ES? Including flasks?

Recovery is basically anything that restores lost life

Eternal Youth is the opposite, makes recharge apply to life instead of ES
I made a build last league on ritualist with the node that gives u 10% life recovery for every 5% hp lost with this unique and I was unkillable.

Can somebody explain why I only get a max of 1 Comet with Elemental Invocation? It has a 2 second cast time, so 200 energy per Comet. EI can store 500 energy. That should be 2 comets. I only get 1.
I don't know invocation and cast on gems that well, but I think it's triggering as soon as you have enough energy

Will the conversion work additively with Avatar of Fire? Meaning it would convert 100% of my attack physical damage to fire

it wont convert addition damage from rings/gloves i think but will work additively with AoF
is plaguefinger gloves important for pathfinder poisonburst
I pathed directly to the node that lets you use a talisman with off hand scepter

So I've been doing an ember fusillade oracle and it's going well. Inevitable crits makes getting power charges with Vols protector very easy. Might try to use it for droping spell totems and offhand adonia's ego for fat elemental damage

Recovery is everything that restores the resource. Recharge is recovery.
So recovery would also buff recoup for example ?

I'm wondering how it interacts with skills that cost all your rage. (i. e. Lunar Blessing.) Does it
a) trigger the gem first, (taking some rage, giving you damage) and then trigger the skill (converting the rest of your rage into duration)
b) trigger the skill first, emptying your rage pool, and then trigger the gem (Which sees you have zero rage and does nothing)
Anyone know? I'm not sure how to test it for myself. 😕
does having more rage give more 1% increased damage? or is it locked at 30% maximum?
As far as I know, it's just 1% more damage per rage. (unless you have some passive like Primal Hunger that removes/modifies the effect.)
So getting +15 rage is basically getting +15 more damage, as long as you can maintain the rage for it.
hum, thanks i was in doubt because that way rage's tooltip is written, it says "to a maximum of 30" but that might just be the maximum default rage
How does slow stack with different sources? Like is 50% from temp chains and 50% chill 75% from multiplication? Or 100 from additive?
Slow effects are always multiplicative with each other.

It's not physical, but it would still get to apply modifiers to spell damage to the bonus physical damage.

Depends on the skill. I never minded channeling Gathering Storm, but that's more of a timing game than a real channel.

Especially because of the lack of less penalty from casting

No, it's an ignite only. But every ignite scales from a hit damage (even if a skill like this says that it deals no hit damage)
You are correct to assume you need better hit damage and ignite magnitude.
IDK about flammability magnitude, it feels like if you have really good damage you won't need it at all.
