why do quite a few guides for the witch minion build say spector is bugged? what is bugged about it?
It's hard to decide what build to use with Smith's Masterwork.
If I chose a slams/ancestral build, I'd use Titan. A stuns build, also Titan.
If I chose an armor breaker, totems, warcries, or shield focused build, I'd use Warbringer.
If I chose a fire build, I'd be using Smith of Kitava, but not Smith's Masterwork, as I'd be spending my points on HotF, AtA, and I wouldn't want to use Masterwork without enough points in it.
I'm expecting the other strength character to have ascension for thorns and rage builds.

well, the main limitation is that if you're in the wrong area, it can get very hard to get inc es on the tree
which will heavily curtail your scaling
so a warrior can go ci, it just needs to path all the way there
which is somewhat inefficient
you can still do it, you just need a good reason why you want both warrior and ci
same thing for say, merc, you just have to path very far
i see i usually like to play melee but the fast kind so def not warrior, haven't played poe1
currently using monk, can you predict where is the upcoming sword/dagger class starting area on P will be? or is that another random until we see the update? i wonder if CI is viable for those classes too

if i wanted to do sword ci, i would try to just do a class closer to top of tree for efficient pathing (as opposed to duelist)

poe1 is diablo 2, poe 2 is darksouls, they game play feel is very different
and it's very hard to compare poe1 and poe2 playstyles even with a matching build
poe1 maces are miles away from poe2 maces, not even comparable
they are just way too different esp in terms of gameplay

does the molten one's gift give the fire damage bonus through the debuff, or as a passive for fire hits against targets with the debuff? like if i put it on my weapon 2 skill tree to use with my armour break skill, will it give the bonus to fire damage when using a fire damage skill on the weapon 1 tree where i dont have tmog allocated?
From the way fully broken armour is described, it seems like a debuff on the enemy so you should be able to break their armour with the TMoG weapon set's tree then switch to the other tree to take advantage of the debuff. I can't fully confirm it, but I'm 90% sure it would work like that, since it also seems like how GGG would want it to work.

60 (before discount) spirit for haste aura, or a temporal bubble, or 12% life as ES etc is pretty good
sure as hell better than 9% damage from trinity 
tame beast doesn't benifit from the tact discount, but it's still better damage per spirit with haste aura than trinity with only one element

it needs both the persistent and buff tags; tame beast is missing the buff tag

then assign say, your totems and mirage archer to II, your attacks to I, you drop your totems (puts you in second set), you dodge roll for your archer, you start shooting, then you are on on set I and can dodge roll all you want and not trigger the mirage archer CD
that's what ratha's assault is for
each dodge roll gives you three bolts

I think I understood this node wrong
I thought if I only put one skill in an Invocation meta skill, it would repeat that skill every 2 seconds untill it run out of energy, but it just casts one
theres a passive skill that caps volatility at 30, my question is why would you want that? doesnt that just make volatility objectively worse? i guess it limits how much damage you can take from it but i feel like there are other ways to get around that that dont limit your damage

According to the poe2 wiki, conversion happens before increased and more modifiers are applied, but flat damage mods are included with the base damage, converted and scaled appropriately. Basically, you'd only need to invest in chaos % damage mods. https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Conversion

well i mean its a fire quiver that gives 1055 average damage and 2478 hit DPS, and a volant quiver that gives 1088 average damage and 2309 hit DPS. im just not sure which is better
Correct. I've also checked a few Original Sin builds on poe2.ninja to see if any of them were using that node and I didn't see any.
It's probably the first one. I assume it has some other stat which increases your dps like attack speed or whatever.
Of course, it might be that you get more life or resistances or other stuff from the second quiver, but as far as damage does, it's the first one.

If I had to guess, those people never bothered to respec their tree after getting the ring. I imported the first of those builds and checked to see if unallocating that node changed their damage, and it didn't.

As far as I know, there's only the sacrifice buff that lets you use reviving minions as corpses but makes them have a slower revival time.
from reading the wiki, whats your take on "gain as extra" of other elemental damage types? Seems to apply during "stage 2" but I dont follow what that means. My assumption is its post though, so if I deal 100 lightning converted to chaos, and I have 5% as cold, I would deal 100 chaos + 5 cold

Yes, your example of 100 chaos + 5 cold would be right. And though it seems strange to me, based on what the wiki says, I'd expect Original Sin to make it 100 chaos and 5 cold as well.

As the Armour Break support gem says, Break Armour equal to 15% of Physical Damage dealt by Supported Skill. And Avatar of Fire says, 75% of Damage Converted to Fire Damage, Deal no Non-Fire Damage.
15% of 0 is also 0.
So there is no conversion magic that takes place, it has to 100% be physical damage 😢

Ma dudes. how much of these values would be considered the minimum for a VIABLE build. Assuming like level 85 maybe with decent bases and gear.
I just dont want to invest too much into these stats when I can invest in more utility. so just a minimum point where less would probably start feeling bad.

its a maybe, totems work on snapshoting, but im not sure if offerings are treated as a minion or totem
easiest way to test is just have no minions on the second weapon and see if the offering persists on weapon swap

Blackheart is better. Iron ring has only 2-6 phys and 4% increased damage is negligible increase since it stacks poorly with your passive tree.

however, going from a sum of 50% ish to 130% ish on the wand only went from like 4100 to 4400
why did upgrading my wand barely gave anything to essence drain (im playing lich)
or does dps tooltip just aint working properly
it displayed the chaos bolt tooltip increase quite correctly
there's a good leveling that uses the new orb of storms and ember fuselage, with the staff that makes you fire 5 projectiles so you dont need to channel ember fusilage

Can Staggering Palm still heavy stun an enemy that's primed to stun even if it doesn't deal damage? I was considering using the retreat gem to boost the wind projectiles on stun, which would then remove the damage from the melee hit
more levels = more damage = multiplication like added/increased/more damage has to work less hard
no because one item added a full +2 spell levels and the other added only 50 %inc damage
spell's base damage scales on level, meaning all the +damage% modifiers apply to that base number. the base damage grows about 12(?)% per spell lvl, meaning that is just 12% more damage per level. the % is only added in to your other %increases, then applied, lessening the overall effect
you need both btw

Passive tree and the sources from gear are different
main single target DPS attack is tempest flurry. The plan is to maximize attack speed to get a lot of hits setup stun and broken stance with wind blast, staggering palm and vaulting impact, then hold tempest flurry for massive damage while they're down. It's been working pretty well so far
on the tree and jewlery it's global
The passive tree is much, much stronger in general

and Fub's guides are just so much more fleshed out and spelled out than any other ones I've see

i think you want these three nodes really bad for bleed personally
they dont want you to do bleed and warrior with maces because maces hit hard and would make bleed strong
rake is a guranteed bleed ability, its a spear skill, spears are 75% dex but that should not be as much of an issue with reduced stat requirements
rake warrior would have been super good last league, because you can strength stack with stomping ground

i think you can stack a lot of base attack damage on warrior to scale your attacks and bleed

if you want to path towards the bleed nodes on dex is your choice

bleed is 15% of attack damage of the hit per second, so it scales on damage, ailment, faster ailments, etc
so its not completely off the usual warrior stuff
the biggest issue i think is that you want to be able to apply bleed to everyone in a pack and how you do that

you can scale block with magma barriers and the like, but i have not heard of people using parry
magma barrier does barely any damage now

Not purple just means there isn't a curse with entering the room, there could be a cursed fountain where you get a curse for honour
It's why you want as many rooms as possible in your path to avoid really bad curses

would do the usual act 1 stuff, take stun threshold on kitava asc in act 2 and then you can start using resonating shield comfortably, just get a shield with good armour value and shield wall will blow stuff up

yeah arc needs orb of storms with supports for low duration and remnants generation for it to be feed consistently

no it makes your lightning res not get used in calculation, but your resistiance is still your resistance (for the purpose of applies it to enemies)

I have question that is hard to find answer on: if I use a skill that, for example cannot cause bleeding.. and I put a damaging support into it such as bone shrapnel.. say I have 50% chance to bleed in tree, can my bone shrapnel cause bleeding or no???

Combat frenzy. Ice strike. Freeze things = frenzy charges. Frenzy turns into power.

Im running Wind Blast Staggering Palm and wanted to put on Charged Staff too, i could probably put Pin 2 on Staggering Palm, as long as it can still trigger stun via priming itll work well enough
If it does stop stun via priming my best bet would just be tactician but thats not a great option

yeah i want to use it with the charm giving you frenzy if you take lightning damage. but my idea was with a attack skill so the helmet would be the last resort. is the helmet the only way to self inflict damage?

so i assume people have seen the builds where you use weapon passive points and swapping weapons to snapshot passives onto totems before switching to different passives after for weapon damage; but can i do that with fissures? if i have boosted fire damage when i lay down the fissure, then swap to physical for rolling slam, will the fire dmg snapshot onto the fissure?

hey guys. In POE2, is there any way to get Mind over matter keystone without the actual keystone (an item, a jewel, etc)? I know some keystones like giant's blood can appear on uniques, and i know you can get some notables via the new essence on body armour. But what about specifically MoM keystone? Im trying to find any way to allocate it without manually pathing to it, if such a way exists
The closest you can get is the PoE2 version of Cloak of Defiance.
but no keystone on item yet that I know of
I do believe you can reach 100% without using MOM with enough passive and equipment investment and that does cut out the huge penalty

i thought that increased lightning damage , increased spell damage , and increased elemental damage scaled additively with each other but when i test with 10% jewels (no other relevant mods) - my base spark goes from 4095 to 4174 with spell/elemental but only to 4120 with increased lightning damage. This is less than 33% of the others. Are other people seeing this with other lightning skills or with spark? (I have basically no other lightning damage from sources so this isn't diluted either. Is it bugged or is this intended? It basically means any lightning % is useless and complete bait to me.
you probably have modifiers (from for example supportgems) that gives % More spelldamage or % More Elemental Damage but not any that gives % More lightning damage, thats what i would guess makes the difference
some flat dmg that isn't lightning would also cause it right
i have cast speed, skill effect duration, more proj speed, 'spells deal more damage' and that's it.
right, if you have any flat damage that is spell damage or elemental damage but not lightning damage on your skill that would also make a difference, that is correct, because that extra flat damage would not be affected by % lightning modifiers but would be affected by the others

if it still has that difference after unequipping all skills, auras and gear, check if you have any "gain x% of damage as extra x Damage" from passives or other sources

i think you're right. it's one single mod that's gain 16% of damage as extra cold on my wand. What's kinda weird is the effect is very minimal before support gems, maybe 5% difference, but with gems it's a wild difference. I'll have to dig into why still. Thanks for the help!

yeah but isnt comet usually used as a trigger skill and not a main spell
i was thinking like, cast on critical or ailment spark and you trigger comet that way
but not even sure if thats necessary

He guys quick question, im playing the popular la deadeye build. Looking for a new bow and i want to know if flat and % phys is generally better than lightning dmg since la is only converting 40% phys to light. Also are other flat ele dmg also useful on a bow? What do i guys think are the most important stats to look out for
if you use a jeweler's orb on an implicit skill granted by a weapon, then later upgrade that weapon, does the higher level skill keep the slots added to the lower level one, or do you need a new jeweler's orb to upgrade the skill from the new weapon?

up to how much Armour can enemies get (including area modifiers etc.)? I am trying to figure out how much increased damage I need for my Witchhunter Explosion to Kill enemies with equivalent health amounts or if I should try to get 100% Armour break instead.
