because i can spend the points on the cc / cd on more mana, more skill duration and proj speed, which equals to more surviva and more qol
so far that's my conclusion on this
i think 4.5k es pre grim feast with crit build is still more than enough survivability in fairness
oh yeah MoM i forget that thing
cause im not cringe 😎
i didn't bother to get more than 100 total spirit
grimfeast does look nice i suppose
yeah its super broken
but you don't really die on maps, usually only on bosses
if you die on maps it's usually you got chain stunned, for spark that is
ES spark builds 🤮
i still think ES spark is solid
tf bosses are you dying to with double dream frag ingenuity spark?
giving up 6k effective pool seems yikes
i guess if you want more damage you can go for a rare ammy
yeah i saw some peeps use a spirit ammy over the mana es one
thats why adorned go crazy
also i don't think +4 arbiter is tankable
Garukhan gave you mana why use ES 😦
adorned giving you like 14% res per jewel slot is bonkers
I understand for budget builds
If you have fragments why not push for 10-12k mana and just tank anything with mom
i mean i am adorned simp on poe1, but the amount of jewel slots you can get in poe2 is so sad
to the point i am questioning myself
Adorned really good if you are stacking int, you can play 14-15 jewels builds
For crit it is just not worth it, not enough jewels and u get more value from timeless
5 jewels like this go crazy.
i still think crit is not worth it
100 total res. 150 crit dmg. 200% inc shock
i'd rather go for duration, inc dmg or proj speed or pierce
yeah i guess int stack is nice
but you need that against darkness jewel to get the %int
or yeah, int corrupted jewels as well
you likely can't opt for es setup at this point
i still have about 100d to spare so i guess i need to get to work
i think crit is basically just opting out of as much fluff and qol for pure dps
nah i don't think it's even good in the end
This is int stacking with adorned
to me, crit sacrifice too much
id imagine at worst its better at mapping cause you need less spark hits per kill
when you look at the widowhail spark
no astrosmh
it still perform really decent
despite having no +levels, no good dmg inc
if you are able to abuse the core mechanics of spark with the generic archmage stormweaver setup
i meant astro no adorned frg
i think it's solid
eh i don't think astra is a good alternative when you can get +3 on ammy
yeah just being bully
lmao
could have more int smh
more numbas
so funny you can see they only have all attri ups and no str/dex
cause of equal str/dex
honestly the int stack adorned is a good idea as far as i know
though i still think hitting the breakpoint for spark mechanic is stil lbetter
mind you, you also may be right. people may be blinded by sheet dps
honestly it's hard to calculate
cause crit would def have better sheet
because even for int stack at some point it's diminishing returns
but yeah i still don't see the appeal of crit spark
and why it is so popular
it feels like it's just high dps footage and content creators pushing it so people are playing ity
oh yeah its only a super duper late game investment
pre the hundred+ divine investment its just worse
hundred+ divs that is not worthwhile
lmao
i still haven't seen anyone deep diving into the core mechanics of spark
oh btw i'll take a look into it
If I use this armour + 2 ventor rings with negative lightning res, will it bring nearby enemies' lightning res to negative like me, or it just bring them to 0%?
What do you mean core mechanics? just proj speed / duration / levels?
some sort
i mean we all know proj speed and duration increases damage
and it depends on the room type (arena size)
but we don't know the breakpoint so far
like for example how much is too little, how much is too much, what is the recommended proj speed + duration on arenas like arbiter
it's something that requires a lot of effort so that's why no one cares
Lvl 96 Infernalist. I dropped from 3 to 1 mages and 3 to clerics and now at 12 arsonists and it seems to have been a good move. Anyone disagree with this? I’m not clear if/when I’d need more than 1 of each.
is this a good gem for witchhunter / staff hybrid build ?
2 Storm Mages just offers better coverage for shock really.
Is there a single game where sheet dps is actually reflective of real DPS these days?
first time playing poe2 been trying to follow this build and i really dont understand the skill tree where some part of it is highlighted red or green
I assume it's weapon set points? Idk enough to hazard a guess beyond that
Yeah it's weapon set points
Should I just ignore the bonestorm dps thing cause ik damn well it’s not only hitting 20k dps
????
Idk what you’re on about, I’ve got bonestorm clearing maps by just tapping the button
Don’t even need to channel
Anyone knows where to find a chart that shows skill scaling with each level?
specifically plague bearer?
What is good starter build on PoE 2?
i guess ill reitirate, bonestorm is mostly used for its debuff
is there any immortal wall you can constantly ricochet off of and not kill?
cause shield wall and ice wall kinda just die
I already have ricochet and fork on it, works very nice for mapping
Generates its own power charges so bombs just go everywhere it’s cool
I see people use totems on 2nd weapon set on their warcry builds. Don't totem passives stop working when you swap back to CC set though? Or is it that once you've placed a totem it retains all the buffs from passives?
if so i'll just have totems on all my warrior builds i guess
Does anyone have a link to a good attribute stack invoker build?
I'm not sure, to be honest. You could test it by allocating a +1 totem limit node to a weapon set, putting your max totems down, and swapping to the set with 1 less limit and seeing if a totem disappears
https://discord.com/channels/174993814845521922/1326972100409426081 works for every class as a leveling build
Yeah, those are weapon set points. Red is set 1 green is set 2
I have a lightning monk build, and I'm wondering which ability I should add to my Cast on Shock skill, comet or lightning ball? Which one would deal more damage?
If you add comet you need to convert dmg to lightning
And if you add ball if lightning you will propably run out of mana
You can add voltaic mark for clear and change it to sniper mark on bosses for more crit
can I ask for the general atlast tree build ? there's so many diff ver on youtube
There are different versions also for different needs. Map sustain, farming various endgame content etc.
does bonestorm benefit from archmage? asking because it says archmage only applies to non-channeling spells and bonestorm is a channeling spell right so it shouldn't work?
If you're swapping to Archmage, you should consider using conductivity instead of hypothermia even though you are using cold spells
hey all, do support gems not boost the '20% of corpse's max life' part of detonate dead? I've been testing it on the Clearfell boss and there's no difference in damage whether I use a conc effect support or not
any specific build that would be good for speeding through campaign again on a witch
hey guys, i'm level 46 using invoker monk, is there any specific stat I should be looking for in my quarterstaff? I currently playing with this one, but i feel like i have very poor damage using my autoattacks and I don't understand why, should i look for physical or lightning damage? ty
so im doing cast on dodge does anyone know why it says 300 max energy for comet which is 1 second cast time so should be 100 max energy
cause added cast time of one second
(added cast time, such as on comet, count as double for the purpose of energy)
hey guys why do some builds want monk to get "RAGE ON HIT"?
Hey there, Do we know any way of self-harming(hit) in PoE2? cheers
i found on google, ty. somehow didnt see this in the patch notes
Do I add voltaic mark inside the Cast on Shock gem or
ye
alright thanks
How does this work when socketing it into Herald of Thunder? Assuming the attack would deal 100 damage would this be correct?
Default: 100 lightning damage
+25% cold damage
-50% lightning damage
Total: 50 lightning damage + 25 cold damage
Meaning that it's a 25% damage nerf in with the benefit of having split damage types?
Just want to make sure I understand this well enough. hah
how ppl sustain flicker strike for soo long? feel like mine's gone after a couple kills
Yup
waht does adding rage do for monk?
Its free damage?
makes you angry
Each rage gives 1% more damage
30 by default
hm.
Is Infernal Cry and Charge Infusion the only things that consume Endurance Charges currently?
as a choice is infernalist better than blood mage right now?
seismic also
you shouldn't need lightning infusion in HoI to chain heralds as long as you've got howa right?
is there a way to break armor as caster ?
corrosion
can't use corrosion on any of my skill it seems... cold stormweaver
What to even take as Titan last node?
All are kinda useless
Break armour on crit passives
You need phys spells for those tho
Why would you bother breaking armour as cold anyway?
what are you playing on titan
exploit weakness would give 50% more dmg to my elemental storms
Curse-aura stack nonsense
And I'm out of ideas how to get any damage on that too
Except dd ofc
But dd bad on bosses with zero invest in minion life
Makes sense ty. Should I still use call of the brotherhood? Or do you think I can afford to swap?
oh seems like I can use corrosion on elemental storm, would envenom + corrosion work to break armor with elemental storms ?
You don't need brotherhood. The extra damage from Archmage do not convert
What class are you playing?
Stormweaver sorc
Are you planning to play Frostbolt?
Thanks I’ll check out a better ring then. I think my lightning spells have high enough damage to now not need to be scaled to cold
does "presence area of effect" on a sceptre only apply to the minion buffs or does it also improve the Aura area of Withering Presence and Blasphemy?
No frostbolt no
so whats considered a decent Energy Shield amount for a Monk endgame? And for evasion? Do you guys recommend using acrobatics?? Even with that, I have 42% evasion
Oh okay. Shame. I heard you mention Frostbolt
But I guess you're going spark instead. You'd be spending a lot more going lightning than sticking with cold though. Cold can do just as much and even faster than most spark builds with like 10% of the budget required for a good spark build
Do I lose my crit from inevitable crit when I swap to explosive bolt to trigger it? Or grenade either?
On mercenary
does any1 know how cast on shock works with a shockbot support—does the person running cast on shock overwrite the support applying shock
What percentage of ring boost is worth at the bare minimum for ingenuity?
Hi Friends - Looking for any feedback on my current support build.
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/ugeqo023
Unsure how long the website takes to update, but I've changed Resonating shield for War Banner after some respeccing.
I think i've nailed down the best jack-of-all-trades support, with versatility to support basically any build, provide defenses, rarity, exposure, curses, and good times all around.
Happy for any ideas on how to minmax from here!

Your ailments do disrupt each other's.
It only gives the meta skill energy to the one who applied the effect
can you consume their shocks or will u just not generate energy if they apply shocks first
Anyone got a good guide for scaling poison cloud dmg seems wonky cant get it past 118k
Is there any build which can successfully utilize dark effigy atm or do we just basically have to wait for 3rd ascendancy class
if you have 2 shocks on a target, does lightning conduit consume both shocks for its % more damage increase or only one?
Guys help me
why level of all spell skill amulet not active in Subcategory skill
I use amulet with 3 level of all spell skil buy he not working on Subcategory skill
Support gems you mean?
Yse skill in support gem soket
It only counts for main spell skills should raise it or are you using lvl 21 comit?
I use ignite and use comet in this
can i get some help building my build on lighting ranger? im using stormcaller arrow and idk where should i look for decent nodes now
Active in other skill but not active in skill in sopport soket
Odd. Hmm not sure tbh
Thought there was some ele dmg node north of the ranger kit. Might look there
found it thx :D
There is a search function for the passive nodes in top right too
Hey guys, what does it mean when the line is red or green ?
Seeing the lvl of your other skills, it looks like comit is a few levels higher are sure its not counting them? 21 comit v most other around 19
ik but i sometimes cant find it problem with eyes :C
weapon set points
i wish there was some option to select some nodes and make them yellow or something to remember where should i go
I hear ya there same here lol
Consuming is one I have not tested yet. But as far as meta skills it's only if you apply the effect.
does Malice from a sceptre increase crit chance for my spells?
Dies inevitable crit stay when swapping to another ammo type on merc
does this helmet still work with ghostwrithe
what does everyone who uses storm wave prefer, inc aoe + conc effect or upheaval + long shot/close combat/something else? I am using pillar but not stacking INT as I wanted to go a different route, so only have 90int with pillar. Currently primal and cold pen as well
Is it me or does cast on shock charges slower than cast on freeze?
Like I do lightning damage and I charge cast on freeze faster with three dragons+herald of ice than cast on shock + herald of thunder on flurries staff strikes
Does anyone know what the distribution is on the spread of ground targeted skills like lightning rod w/ scattershot?
well cast on freeze gains a lot more energy when you freeze stuff than cast on shock when you shock so sounds pretty normal
especially if you are freezing consistently
Well I don't really know how it's counted but yeah I saw that it gains 10 energy vs 2 but that's so strange it's that much higher
So I just thought we were freezing 5 times less, I guess not
well its a lot harder to freeze than shock but eventually it doesnt matter
I don't want to run three dragons thingy
So I guess I'll find something else to gain charges
I'm a witchunter that runs rapid shot for bosses and galvanic for clear, trying to take a potcg as second hand for clear with flicker strikes because it's so fun to tp around the map
We can't get sockets and big keystone (resonance) as weapon talent points.... It's so annoying
Also why is fire so hated in this game lmao
Like herald of ashe is garbage, igniting ennemies is utterly useless and is even more useless if you don't play "big hit" spells and you can generate frenzy charges with shocking, freezing but not igniting lmao
fire rly needed scorch as an ailment or something
and then ignite should've just worked like bleed and poison, e.g you would just grab chance to ignite
whats the best way to start a warrior ... seems so slow 😄
Alternatively, ignites could just stack with each other by default
Not that it helps for this, but I find herald of Ash is actually crazy good for herald chains with Three Dragons; You run immolate on your herald of Ice, which now always procs.
what's the damn point of crushing blow?
it stun target that is primed.. but any blow do that
Hey guys, does anyone of you know if the Buff Attrition also buffs my snipers damage/hits?
if smth doesn't specify minions it doesn't affect them
I'm trying to help with mana for my cast on freeze spell. I assume inspiration won't work if I place it with cast on freeze... but If I put the same spell that I'm using cost on freeze with on my bar and socket it with inspiration will that work for the cast on freeze version?
Where could i improve with survivability on my gear do seem to be taken out a lot lately i was thinking about some armour boots but dont think ill have enough strength its already a balance act in my passive tree and with dexterity vs intelligence
Does anyone know what kind of statistical distribution is used for random spread on skills?
Things like lightning rod
Hello, can someone tell me if resistances apply to ES or only to life?
What’s the name of the build planner program? I remember seeing it on Reddit but I can’t find it anymore?
Path of building
both
resists apply before the damage is dealt to you
so it doesnt matter what pool is behind them
Thank you. 🙏🏼
🫡
I recommend Lighting rod + orb of storms and path to mercenary to get some proj damage. Or spark+flame wall+orb of storms and path to Templar/druid to get some spell/ele damage
+max life everywhere possible and u'll be good, or go mana
Is there any high end item within reasonable price, for a poison concoction build, anyone can think of that would help my build out?
Further context i have 25-30 divine. I have ingenuity and strong rares on all other equipment. I don't think it's going to be a gear item, but maybe a jewel or something i don't know about? I'm leaning towards buying Olroth's flask
I found out about one of the unique jewels yesterday that makes your corrupted magic jewels stronger and that's within my price range of 20-30+ divines, but then i looked up the jewels i would use with it (20% ES 20% crit damage) and all those jewels are 30+ divine each
Yea adorned builds are pricey AF, afaik it's one of the METAs
Poison concoction only goes so far it seems before hitting a big wall
Yeah i learned to check my magic jewels for max rolls now
$
thats my current gear on arkmage spark? what to focus on
Not feeling like the math but do you have all your resses maxed?
Higher ES in general, higher mana and Int if you can afford it, 30 spirit with gaze is really nice for grim-feast but eventually you'll switch out of gaze so you could get a 850+ ES body too. You'll probably switch out focus for a good Mahu shield eventually but Focus shouldn't be pulling any res.
71 73 and 74
no chaos tho
Helmet can somewhat easily pull 300+ ES and 100+ mana so lots of mana missing there
Are you doing CI?
not now
That’s gonna need to be resolved in one of those two ways
ci is the thing 1 hp full chaos res right
Yeah
i will do it but it i need more mana es rn i guess
Yeah the helmet they were mentioning will help a ton there
yeah, for archmage int stack every piece of gear need to have 30+ int, 150 or smth mana and as much es as possible
(and then get res.. somewhere)
but int stacking is for rich people, I put it in my weights but rarely ever get it
yes but i cannot say which one of this items are bad and why it is
i followed that maxroll guide
i focused on mana int full res etc. as mentioned in the guide
They are all suboptimal because of their low ES which translates to low mana and there low resist forcing you to get resists on rings.
Aim for 80% total resist on each piece of gear 100+ ES, 150+ mana, Int (if you can afford it)
idk, I got my basic gear for, like, 4 div total
then sold half of it cause got bored of build and wanted to try smth non meta and original
oh so its mainly about item levels ?
No it's about the modifiers, getting +X energy shield is the same as +x mana but ES gets boosted by quality and sometimes Iron rune so it's slightly better
What is possible for an item to have VS what you have on it. Rings can give loads of Int/Mana/regen so resists are wasted there
Focus can give damage so resists are wasted there
The green one will make the Red one better which will give you more mana overall
btw, 20% quality* would be an extra 40 mana for free there
no mana, low res. That's a bad helmet
i didnt make the quality thing since idk what item to keep/change
I'm not a master trader but here are my search to give you an idea
So I put a min ES I want, I put the weighted stats that I want and play with the minimal values or weight until I find something affordable to me that's decent
can you quickly look at my other gear and say which one is bad if you have time i really appreciate it
I was also looking at the body as not being good
It's all pretty bad for someone with a decent budget but you can get by
really depends on your currencies imo
im barely getting one exalt each run
I think you’d get the most improvement out of a better body and helmet right now imo
i have like 2 divine and 100 ex rn
your amulet isn't annointed either, free passive you're missing out on, quality on stuff is almost always worth it, if you paid a few exalts for something
Need to spend money to make money 🙂
someone else told me about that annotaion thing
You can probably find some decently good items for like 30-60 ex each if you use the search function well
what is it exactly
yes i think but i cannot tell if the item im gonna buy is worth it
You can use the delirium emotions to put a notable passive (non-keystone) on your amulet
It's when you use delirium emotions to give your amulet a passive skill, you can press Alt on a skill to see what is required to annoint or look at Poe2DB
Doesn't need to be linked to your tree, I'm using pure power annoint but asteticism, conservative casting, split shot, etc bunch of great options available
is this thing a really good power spike item
do i really need that one passive point
for now
It's all the small things that add up to a good build yeah
some notables could be as much as 10% more damage, possibly. But typically it's not massive
it seems like an expensive thing
doesn,t have to be, conservative casting is a few exalts iirc, free mana regen
but, obviously, corrupted gaze prevents that
Probably use a weighted filter to get like 75% combined res and a bunch of mana/es and that’s like a decent item
that was acutally what i do before
Your body and helmet have like 25% res each
I think it's because you we're getting whatever mods on whatever pieces but you should get specific mods on specific gear.
The last couple points matter more than any other and it opens up options for ^
like what
like resists on focus and rings
The last 4% res going from 71 to 75 is like a 14% damage reduction
all resist ring with ingenuity is fine but even then, not great imo
You can get more damage and mana and es when you’re not needing resses on key pieces
And rarity
what are key pieces
Rarity helps a ton
Helmet, chest and rings until ingenuity imo
how much a proper ingenuity
I'm getting by with a 60% but higher is better
what is most tree-independent way to get damage, assuming I have all items slots free to get one and don't need tankiness at all?
If you’re using attacks, howa
If you,re using spells, archmage
^ spell levels also help
True
If you can afford the mana
Which means you’re stacking mana which means you’re going archmage lmao
All roads lead to Rome or whatever the saying is
so guys briefly i need to check my whole build right ?
im gonna put resists on ring or anything else
when you're playing, is there something you're struggling with in particular ?
Try to fix that
i need in general improvement thats why its a bit hard to figure out
I'm using anything, I don't care
all I have in tree is 16 jewel sockets
and lots of stats I guess cause of going for those
im having no problems but higher maps would be a problem due to low survability and dps
More mana/es is going to help with both of those
Survivability and DPS, Capped Resist > Max mana = problem solved
yep basically i need to change whole build because of res stats
Is grim harvest good to put on a monk for survival
If you use the trade site well it should be within budget
while buying new gear on what part i should gather the resists
I would say, with your budget, drop Int all together, get 75% resist min on each piece of gear ( excpet ring and focus), 90+ ES and 120+ mana
That’s a reasonable plan^
is there diff between + to es and %
I don't use either of those
where does es come from
- is flat, % modifies flat (including base)
Don't look for mods, look for ES in equipment filters
^
I got a build idea, just checking if its good so if I get igunity belt with around 70%+ and get prismatic rings with 29-30% all elemental res. I can get max res on all 3 elements by scraficing one stat on each ring. Would that be a good idea?
It won't calculate the missing or slotted Iron runes, so keep that in mind
It will turn out that a good ES piece has both flat and increased ES
so i should care about runes or not
it will take it as base form or rune socketed ?
Both, so that's something you'll be looking out for, 2 helm with equal stats but one has a rune and the other doesn't, the one without a rune will be better (once you put a rune in)
website calculates as if max quality
idk how much quality adds to what
1% qual is 1% ES (or armor or evasion)
what does this mean? i thought all lightning dmg already can shock by default
cold dmg can shock
Non lighting damage too
why are we not getting res on rings
Because rings can have cast speed/mana regen/int (boosted by ingeniuty) damage, mana, etc
so resists are worst than anythign else you could get on rings
unless it's all elemental resist
what about focus
Crit chance, cast speed, crit damage > Resist
you eventually will care about crit ye
why is it
It’s more damage
is it like end games end game or need for ordinary build
And it stacks well with other sources of damage
But, mana stacking archmage use Mahu shield with max mana soul cores afaik
is it just for focus ?
Wand too, helmet and gloves if you can afford it
I honestly can’t remember if the helmet crit stat is for attacks or just in general
It's general, got one yesterday
lvl93mahuorfocus one right
mahu/focus probably
Not knowing anything about those builds I agree lmao
Path of Exile 2 Guides, News, Builds, Tier Lists, Campaign Walkthrough, Classes, Crafting, Trade, Tools, major changes & more on Maxroll.gg.
its maxroll guide
Also be on the lookout for rarity when everything else is taken care of
It’ll help your economy a lot
It's not something I looked for at all, I get rarity from the waystones I use most of the time
but for farming chaos/Sekhema, rarity is huge yea
is there a spark sorcerer archmage build guide out there that acutally utilize the spark mechanics and doesn't suck
hmm like what mechanics ?
Yeah I just got like 50-75% rarity and left it there because it was an easy upgrade
I'm sitting at 52% iirc from pure random corrupts
Lmao
spark itself has a lot of ways to scale its damage
But my maps do almost 2x the modifiers and 23% base so it's almost always 100%+ rarity
but no one is actually utilizing except for widowhail but they suck on lategame scaling
I’m gonna be honest I don’t know what you mean about no one using them. They use skill duration and stuff from what I’ve seen
Unless you’re talking about other stuff?
like a spark build that doesn't run archmage but it's just so good that idk if anyone is doing build like that and if they are they'll suck compared to archmage conterpart.
well obviously +40 and with *1.4 is not even enough (skill duration but that's what most people do)
Anyone know which unique jewel gives added chaos damage?
Against the time lost diamond can give Gain #% of damage as extra chaos damage iirc
not necessary not running archmage, but a lot of them when with CoS / crit build
i looked at the pob the scaling is wtf
what are these ways, beside gem level, projectile speed and skill duration?
pierce / proj count
fork works but it is a bit dangerous at times via mana tempest
and the uptime is not there
🤔 I think you need arrow & quiver to scale most of these parameters
not necessary
@daring bobcat @gray patrol thanks for helping
pleasure Gl
your adorned setup probably works with that
Hope it works out for you
i guess i'll get a 90% adorned
my setup benefits mostly from archmage, pure power, arcane intensity and force of will - less from levels/speed/duration etc..
i've seen the pob, each 5 int gives about like 0.5% damage
Any suggestions on how you can maximize the damage output of a Cast on triggered Fireball?
On support gems I mean
Energy saving gems, standard fire damage gems, mana cost reduction if you’re running into mana issues
Wildshards is one I think I’ve seen often iirc
But don’t quote me on that, just seen fireball builds in passing
Wow getting a nice time-lost diamond will definitely be a game changer for my p conc, freeing up a lot of passives in the tree. What does a large radius roughly cover, for small passives?
How exactly is a time-lost diamond freeing up points? As for the radius you can check yourself on PoB or maxroll.gg
That'd be a ''From nothing'' jewel
I could free up those 11 points for weapon set 1 on my build
What are decent Support gems to use with Ghost Dancer?
It's 50% chaos damage and some crit chance, but i can get a couple +15% rit damage nodes that should cover that damage loss, grab 55% to poison magnitude nodes, and be 1 passive away from a jewel node
And it looks like i can get a decently priced diamond that will give a lot of resistances with it and some attribute points from corruption
it's useful for any build that uses energy shield, assuming there isn't a better way to use that 30 spirit
sadly there are basically none except for the typical buff buffs, like vitality, clarity, etc
does guard from olroths resolve covers infernal flame damage?
I don't think infernal flame does damage
Do simulacrum/deli monsters deal any elemental damage? Aren't they just melee physical damage with one aoe physical for the big slam from one of those monsters?
If it's true that would greatly changes the way I build
You can’t win them all
Lol
Uhh I actually don’t know the damage types of those dudes
fast forward
Do you guys know how we can know that?
Well I guess I can just run a delirious map and try to see for myself
Since I run sorcery ward I could see if they hit my elemental shield or not...
oh, damn, it's so weird which skills use "duration between activations" and which ones don't
I was gonna check and see if that info was on poe2db but my service is super bad right now
like, arctic armor and wind dancer say "gain a stage every X seconds" whereas ghost dance uses "duration between gaining shrouds"
you mean infernal flame will reduce my guard first before my life/energyshield?
no, I'm saying that infernal flame says "lose life/energy shield", I think.
if so, it's not damage
Already got that, that’s not an option in terms of this ring
fork is a lower damage penatlty, then
oh i mean this one Pyromantic Pact
and chain is basically worse fork for spark
it reduces my life when infernal flame is full
oooooooh
I thought this was the demon form thing
my bad
sorry, yeah, that's fire damage
infernal flame, demon flame... too many flames that hurt you in one ascendancy
But is it a damage penalty? Like I know the Support Gem reduced the damage of the Supported Skill, but this is not a Support Gem, this is a Ring and it doesn’t say that Fork itself reduces the damage in its own description, only the Skill Gem says that
oh. I missed that context. I had no idea you were referring to that ring
yeah haha so the question is im planning to use olroths flask, to cover the damage. but dont want to buy it unless im sure it work haha
if it says it negates damage, it should work for infernal flame
infernal flame is just a big chunk of fire damage
not that big even
with 90 fire res(that you want anyway on infernalist, tbh) it's nothing
(altered flesh+cloak of flame is too good to pass, phys to ele/chaos was imba in POE1 and is 10 times better in POE2 since armour doesn't work anyway)
its really something im using cast on minion with comet
my friend already have 90 max fire res
ok chat ive been cooking heres what ive got so far
its for sanctum so you have dodge relics
im going to test if it actually works now 😅
What passive point gives an extra charm slot?
Where are the bleed builds? This crap is so boring.
Might just be stupid but how does lowering your health total add survivability when being in demon form as a witch
is it because then there’s less total health to regen
I think I'm just waiting on poe2 to be different from poe1. I feel build fatigue. I desperatley want someone to make a build that's fun and different.
I'm not smart enough to do it.
because it does % damage of your health, so flat regen is stronger
if you have 200 hp then 30hp regen is 6.7% of your health per second
if you have 400hp its only 3.3%
ah so smaller health means your regen is more efficient at bringing your health back up
Is that right
JayTX did multiple bleed builds this league
it just gives you like a minute or more until the health cost is greater than your regen
It's a me problem. I haven't found my happiness in poe2 yet. I'm awaiting spears.
Does sorcercess need spell crit? I'm tryna go lightning sorc but idk
There's a node that makes all lightning damage that doesn't crit Lucky which is amazing
Is it worth going lightning sorc? I just started so Idk what is really good
I've just been having fun honestly
That's the main factor. If you're having fun and not struggling, keep going.
Heard and so lightning dmg does crit
if im playing an ice/lightning combo archmage stormweaver, w/ Comet as the main boss nuke w/ sigil of power...should i be using conductivity or hypothermia?
any idea what to do for damage with a tree like this?(don't ask why)
Also can you link me that lode?
what is going on with this build what are you using
I asked to not ask)
does eye of winter cause freeze buildup even if it doesnt pass over chilled ground?
anyway, I was thinking to stack spirit on all items where I can, get that "spell damage per 10 spirit" foci(corrupted ofc) and get my increased that way
but what to do with all that spirit.. idk
(and what to use after that, anyway)
thats why I asked what your using
what spells what weapons whats your angle
whats your acendancys look like ect
What’s a place I can see what stats can roll on what? I need a website since I don’t have a pc
Craftofexile
Is that for poe2?
yes
it's titan, so, yeah
all titans take 50% effect and then w/e )
all item slots free to use, well, anything
Is the increase from a 70% ingenuity(19d) to a high 70 like 77(24d) worth the price increase?
if you can afford it
depends on your gear and whether you can make better upgrades for 5d
I recommend sticking to 70% and when on high budget and already fairly optimized just change to 80%
Any suggestions on how you can maximize the damage output of a Cast on triggered Fireball with support gems? I'm a crit type and I already maximized my fire penetration without support gem.
Is the archmage lighting conduit build on max roll a good build for stormweaver?
if im using bone cage to its full effect would that mean a more.stationary playstyle and go with block over evasion to focus on a defense stat?
Rn i just darksouls roll as much possible and that feels wrong
Neither Evasion nor block prefer being stationary over moving or vice-versa. The entire game favors moving because if you sit still you just fuckin die
If you're rolling constantly then yes, you're probably rolling too much
ok so just trying to avoid attacks period is the better choice like ive been doing
You can avoid a ton of damage just by moving normally while using skills
How far are you in the game?
this is my 4th try at making a build i keep bricking near the end of act II farthest i got was after the colossus
Regardless of how far you are, resistances are the most important defensive layer
this time is going really well so far
If you neglect resistances on any build, you're screwed from square one
Tho even with really bad resists you should still be able to make it farther than the act 2 colossus
Sounds like the problem is with your damage
And/or over-rolling
so I wouldnt say I am neglecting them directly, I just learned about scrapping and building sockets and just ahve not come accross gear thats better than the unique chest I am running, ive got a base 20 i ce and lighting 44 in fire and zero in chaos atm
yeaht hat was the iSSUE!!
Oh, you're that person. My b
oh sorry i didnt know i had a reputation
Nah, I talked to you an hour ago or so
ah yes!
yeah sorry i kinda just poke my head in here for advice time to time as I go I really appreciate what you are telling
My pleasure. So a bone cage build?
yeah i can share ss if you like
I'm mostly curious what skills you use alongside it and what supports
I don't know much about it and I never looked into making it the focus of a build
im in chat 4 if that would be easier but I can type it out too
its mostly bone cage, firewall really
Nah I'm in bed getting sleepy lol
haha all good i write you a bed time story gimmie a sec
sure sure
Ah, right, it's the pinning one. I was conflating some of its mechanics with bonestorm
Might be kinda cool with astral projection if that works
level 17
bonce cage lvl4 : Brutality, Persistence
Bone storm lvl5 : Leverage, Arcane tempo
Bone Blast lvl5: Pin, Ambush
Skeletal Arsonist lvl4 x4: scattershot, Ignition
Firewall lvl 4: Magnified effect, Fortress
Raging spirits lvl 4: Clarity, Vitality
Incinerate: lvl5: eternal flame, inspiration
basically I stake a mf and roast em, a nice ironic thematic build for a witch
I am thinking of going inferanlist for ascendancy but im not touching that right away ive made that mistake everytime ib eat the trial
idk if this is the place but can someone help me with finding a good build for stormweaver. the one im following is confusing me a little. it takes the node "eldritch battery" and also a bunch of max ES nodes but i dont notice any difference with it?
is this just me being stupid or are these just bad passives
The es nodes only work if it also uses ghostwrithe to convert life to es. Otherwise they're dead nodes
This seems eccletic af, ngl
It looks like you're using a scepter, but most of your damage is coming from spells?
mind if i dm you the build im following? i honestly dk if i should find a different one or stick with it before i waste my ex
Just post it here
Just remove the embed
Hey guys back again with a new build video this was a fun one and I really enjoyed playing this one and will for sure play it more down the line as the game adds more everything
All footage In this video was made before any of the skill changes in the end product meaning more everything the fights were sloppy because i was more testing the bui...
Click the x in the top right
yeah right now thats the idea, i am planning to take the training wheels off when i find a better chest piece and swap to a focus offhand
Read the first paragraph of the gearing section. It says how it uses both EB and energy shield
I can't tell if the training wheels are the spells or the minions tbh
Because you're using an insanely strong spirit gem, raging spirits, but put supports on them that don't help their amazing damage in any way
And also putting brutality on bone cage, which leads me to believe it's also for damage
It seems like a fine build, just read it carefully
minons 100% i have but zero points in them and theyve carried me through every boss nearly untouched
ah okay yeah, i normally just grab passives and gear and thats it but this one i couldnt grasp straight away aha
Yeah the es nodes are worthless without everlasting gaze
yeah the reason I did that was because they are ALWAYS active and my gear does hp damage when i use skills and i have no real mana gen atm, so i am doing some dots with the skulls while bufiing my regen so i can crit harder with other spells. I will be changing that out when I find a skill taht fits that I will always have on, atm since i only have 2 slots for skill gems i felt this was the way to go because my other spells hit like trucks and I am more using the fire as an icing on the cake kinda thing right now.
soon as i get those nodes to give me crits when enemies are debuffed with elemental damage i.e fire ill be laughing. but thats also why I am grinding some levels ahead so i can just test a few things out without moving to fast. and its been a really enjoyable playthrough so far, i am taking way less damage than before and smoking mobs in the manor right now taht i usually struggled with
when ig et some more slots opened up I will be optimizng alot of these skills youre absoloutley right
If i include everything but the fire attack closest is 500 divs. What should i price this?
What do you mean, your "gear does hp damage" when you use skills?
pain attunement hits you for 5 hp every time you use a skill but it gives 30% more crit if you are under full hp, so i use the spirit skulls as a free regen while still doing some decent fire damage
ive got 60% mana regen thansk to those lil guys which proc on all fire spells and they are still doing 61 damage which is not bad so 10 skulls that 600 damage
so i am always regen health and mana while buffing my crit with every combo and spell i use
Pain attunement doesn't hit you, crown of thorns does. Also, I don't think that's what pain attunement does
Pain attunement gives you the benefit if you're on low life, I thought
30% less crit at full health and 30% full under full health
Not "not at full life"
not low life just not full health
Really? Can you screenshot the keystone? That's wild to me
Tho I guess they made it a lot harder to be on low life consistently
oh nope you are correct I misread it its been a while since i looked at it
More Crit dmg bonus can be kind of nutty
the original plan for the build was bloodmage, but the way its going i could go either wayuwith it
i was looking into alot of the health regen nodes later but the infernalist deals dots to you as well, so this could work either way as a good set, what do they classify low health under 30%?
Personally I'd throw that crown of thorns in the dumpster and get anything with life and res, but if you're enjoying it, go nuts
Hold alt and click on the low life keyword in pain attunement
I think it's 30% or 35%
could someone give me a price check on this?
nope
I'd say add up the prices of one kraken and one star and it'll be a good estimate
35% ok so i want as much energy shield as i can get to work with this crown if i go that route, which is still tempting i guess i need to decide which subclass i am gonna follow since most of fire skills ive just carried over so this build has had really low investment to high return
how do i search up the price of a kraken and a star
Well 1 Kraken is worth about 17 Narwhals - so start there I guess?
Craigslist would be my first thought. But my second thought would be to fully read the last post of #price-check📉
ah that might be why mainly, i havent got that amulet yet :p
gna invest into it tomorrow if its decent, wasnt sure if it was worth spending a bunch of ex. the quiver costed 50 so just wanted to make sure
I just got the three dragons helmet, what builds is it used? can't remember..
What’s the CHEAPEST t4 sim farmer.
When most people make a build in poe, they start with a skill/combo/archetype to focus on. Then they pick their ascendancy, gear, etc, in order to complement the focus as best as possible. Highlight its strengths, cover its weaknesses, do a cool synergy thing, or any combination of those.
It sounds like you're kinda just picking up skills and seeing what looks cool as you go. Which is totally fine. Just very different to the "norm", at least for me. When I tried last epoch I didn't allocate points until I knew exactly what the plan was for the build
Does anyone know where this calculation comes from for energy shield? It says 1089 and its a conversion from mana to energy shield but i cant find where the 1089 is coming from.
maybe the 2nd try i did but I like to think ive found the synergy between bone and fire spells and im starting to fine tune it
I'm guessing it's your max mana times the % that gets converted from everlasting gaze
for monk if i want to cast as much as possible should i use "cast on crit" or "cast on shock"?
The fact that you're a monk is pretty irrelevant. It all depends on how much shocking and critting you do. And how much damage those crits do.
so how would ik whats better?
for my build
Look at how much you shock stuff and compare that to your main skills' crit chance and damage. Read the 'cast on' gems carefully and make an educated guess. If you're building for crit then I'd go crit. If you're building for shock, then shock
@delicate canyon
Is there any bleed starter builds or should I not worry about bleed builds
I'm sure there's at least one but idk where it would be. You can slap bleed on a physical spell leveling build and probably do fine
kinda hard to know because im going crit but i also do alot of lightning dmg so my shock is pretty high
do i just gotta test it out myself then?
Yeah, we don't have the tools to be able to name a clear winner
ok
Which of the Venom Draught reward options is best for a Stormweaver?
Normal, not cruel - so the choices are Mana Regen, Stun Threshhold, and Elemental Ailment Threshhold.
They're all pretty unimpactful, go with whatever you vibe with. They're all like 2 small passives worth of value
is a crossbow considered a two handed weapon?
I guess I'm just wondering if I'll ever get to the point where I don't need more Mana Regen, because that feels like the obvious choice.
Hold alt and click on the crossbow keyword at the top of the weapon
But if I'm gonna have more than I can use eventually, then I'd rather put it into one of the other options.
hello, what stats should i look on an amulet as a melee titan?
thanks in advance
should i go for an amber amulet with high life regen for my demon witch build or for an amulet that lowers my max hp further
Iirc there's limited unique mods for leas max life and the ideal cap is exactly 200 max life, more or less decreases stack cap. So both are different more multipliers to stack cap that depend on your current stats
rn my health is around 250 but once i get 2 ming's heart rings they should cut it down by 50% i think (25% for each ring)
ah maybe not 25% but still a decent amount i believe
The goal is exactly 200
would less be bad
Yes because demon form ends when stacks exceed your max life even if your regen would sustain it, but you get more degen at 201+
Each stack must detract 1 life
And it is 0.5% of max life or 1 hp, whichever is higher
Might be some wiggle room for higher life for higher stack cap with higher regen but I'm not sure, not an expert
yeah rn im trying to figure out whether i should focus on getting more hp regen or lowering my life total
and figuring out what amulet is ideal for me, i imagine amber amulet with high regen would work well
for POB - is the DPS supposed to e identical to what i see in game too
for example my galvanic shards is showing up as 16k dps on the skill tree in game
but in POB it is like 12k
any monk played know if theres anything better then eye of winter for cast on?
Can someone help me with how Grand Spectrums work? It was reccomeded I get 3 Ruby ones.
How much of a difference does 100%+ rarity of items compare to 0-99%? Is it really noticeable?
0-99% is a great range
100% is only, well, 1% better than 99%, and a lot better than 0%
how well does skin of the loyal garment scales?
bruh why they talking about a dead game instead of actually making this one
Which element type modifier is better? for Painter'Servant Glove
question, what are the most desires mods for ruby jewels? I'm trying to clean out my junk and need to know. Thanks in advance
?
it depends what resistance you need, of course
the weapon one
whichever one averages the best, i guess
although usually iron is better than any of the flat ele runes
cold - 8, fire - 9, lightning - 10.5
lightning wins
ok thank
any mana stackers in chat i could possibly ask about the build
Is anyone using omen sceptres for minions?
I'm wondering if "aura effect" on jewels buffs the "malice" aura?
It works with other auras from sceptres but I can't tell if it's working with omen sceptres
ball of lightning or eye of winter for cast on shock against a monks bell
Best anointment for monks? Running a double Herold/ ice strike build… I seen someone mention “climate change” on reddit… got me thinking… would this alone ignite tempest bell if heavily invested into cold/physical damage??
I'm running witch with a crossbow and starting out it's painful
Can someone explain how barrier invocation infernalists manage to get that insane energy shield regen while taking damage?
I'm doing a cast on ignite build on infernalist and my hp/es goes down nearly just as fast but I have no way to counter it and outregen the damage. So I am trying to figure out what the bi infernalists do
talking about for boss dps eye of winter or ball of lightning?
Neither… just ice strike, charged staff and bell, and a heap of passives… it’s a variation of sarges build
Are there any sources for extra projectiles in gems or passives?
cause i been doing eye of winter and got about 5mil dps atm was just checking if thers anything better
is cast on shcok not needed for high dps?
Hey question what's the highest damage a quarterstaff got to im just wondering
Really? So it is possible to get a 1000 🤔🤔🤔 time to break the game 😈
Because I really want too push the limits and see if I can get the little black bar pass 100k or higher without activating my charged staff ability
what black bar?
Im on console so when I go to my skills there's a little black bar on the top right of the skill that tells me the DPS and I do 65k normally without my charged staff ability
you dont need a 1000 dps qstaff to break 100k
Ik I want to see if I get a quarter million dps tho so I need a quarterstaff higher then my other one
stat stack then
@night galleon nope I'm playing a monk not a mercenary
so am i
u can do stat stack with monk too
I don't do that I like the grind and challenge so I don't care how long it takes I'm gonna get a quarterstaff that's over 1000 DPS
well if you want to do it that way then just remember that crit and crit multi are extremely powerful mods on staff
crit multi is far better than 20% phys runes
I already got over 474% critical bonus but I'm not even max lvl I'm 87 the last time I checked
ye ccause to crit bonus multiplies ur crit
i had 800 crit bonus before i did stat stacking
Hello guys. Anyone have a good planner for Attribute stacker Gemling ? Will want to play something easy... i have Astramentis ...but Fubgun build is too complicated 😅
Something more simple... with Charge staff always on ... no weapon swap or stuff like that
morior invictus or normal chestplate preferred on archmage spark build?
I am testing HotG and it is doing NO damage. It is as if it does not hit. What can the root cause be?
Do temporal chains and apex of moment add up? Like 40% slow from temp chains and 20% from apex so 60% slow total
Is it during a weapon switch?
You can honestly do whatever if you have Astro. Tempest flurry. Megalomaniac Massive at the top jewel slot for Drenched + the other 2, herald of ice and lightning with other infusions or cold dmg rings
Gg done
I have the Morrior also
Tbh Astro + caged god + howa and do any non Whirling Assault quarterstaff skill
Yes, it is. I swap to another set in order to add debuffs then swap to my main set to dps. I have not tested with using any other skill right after the swap because the debuff swap is only used on bosses.
Yeah friend has a similar issue. Hunch for the issue is mana weirdness
But frankly no idea.
Maybe if I go blood magic then...
Hmm maybe. Do tell me if you still noodle the hits afterwords
hi, im playing a ice invoker monk, i'm using this guide
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/ice-strike-invoker-build-guide#skills-header
and I've come to a point where I have an additional 44 spirit, and the build does not tell me what to do with
I found the cause... I had Brutality on instead of primal armament.
It nullifies all non-phys damage.
Combined with avatar of fire I deal no damage.
Oh lmfao
what should i do to best make use of the additional spirit? if anything at all
Just toss in some useful support gems. Like life on kill, mana regen, better flasks
Go crazy
Whatever you want most tbh. Or grim feast if you haven’t got it for some reason
i have everything the build tells me to do, for the mapping setup
looks like the build doesnt have grim feast i think
what skill should i put it on
It’s a spirit skill if you use energy shield
oh i dont have additional slots for another skill
i was wondering if i should put more support on existing ones
Yeah probs just a support like herbalism or whatever you like, if you have the slots to even put em in
If not then meh, 44 spirits floating who cares
yeah i should be able to, the build... has alot of empty slots
but theres alot of choices, ive been going through them
but yeah lol
Yeah it’s good. So is life on kill. Kinda broken even
in poe1 i always did a mapping build but i decided to try a pinnacle bossing build this time, i've never even fought "the last boss" in poe1
but yeah life on kill is great for mapping
It’s on my flicker build and it’s a life saver
now im wondering if this build is ... complete, like why dont i put a 4th support on charged staff ?
or a 5th
damn there is alot of stuff to go through xD
is there a multishot for charged staff?
I believe not
any suggestions
Shock kill ES, bouncing shock, inc dmg no shock. No more shock but electrocution build up.
bullseye any good ?
Inc shock effect is good as well
yeah that sounds good
I think I run better shock effect on my charged staff. Maybe culling and bouncing electric as well, not certain
i have culling on herald of ice
That’s good
shocking siphon seems kind of like life on kill
but maybe not as good
shock siphon*
i should really look up how shock even works lol
so many things to do so little time
trying to understand how shock occurs
"By default a Hit has 1% chance to Shock for every 4% of the target's Ailment Threshold dealt." this isn't very clear i'm not sure how it works still
how do i know what enemies ailment threshold is
aside from the map modifier
overcharge sounds good possibly, 75% magnitude of shocks, -50% duration
unless i only shock once every 4 seconds
no idea how i'm suppose to know though lol
Tldr, the more you hit and the harder you hit the more you shock
In general with a good enough build you just always shock
And yeah it’s kinda worse than life on kill, but it’s for es which is just different and can be nice
im at 1862 life, 2451 es
But yeah 75% magnitude is so good for bosses. Around 1.12x dps vs bosses cause of it
yeahhhhh thats what i want xD
i have my atlas setup for +5 boss difficulty, it's brutal
wanting to do +7
Hey so still trying to figure out how to counter my insane energy shield consumption costs for barrier invocation. Does recoup life count as life recovery for this passive?
But also sometimes es on kill and shock stuff may work weird in practice. But still if it works then it’s great
I want to say yes
HOW MUCH dps u have
How else do barrier invocation infernalist builds manage the intense self damage cost? Please need help 🙏
Lemme remember hecc
Guys For Mana stack Sorc What we can buy instead of dream sapphire ring are there any alternative for this ?
Breach ring with mana int and other stuff

I'm certainly not the mastermind of the barrier invocation build b...
Was looking into it but didn’t look safe for bossing so opted into something else
Need help building this build level 60 and only doing 1 k on spark damage, going for stormweaver idk what to do
ah ok
is it good if i annoint my amulet with carefull assasin and use megalomaniac on throatseeker?
my crit chance 36% atm
I tried finding a megalomaniac with both of those but was unsuccessful. But yeah I'd say your plan would work. Just have to find another passive on the mega that works for you.
Anyone selling uncut skill gem lvl 20
For like 200 ex on Poe trade
I use to be able to see the crafting rolls for items on these pages but it has since changed for armors. The jewely and I think weapons still function the same but this has made it much harder to figure out crafting rolls. Anyone know of a good site I can use now instead or if the functionality has moved somewhere else on the site?
https://poe2db.tw/us/Boots#BootsItem
Could somebody help me upgrade my DPS? I just started mapping and my ice strike DPS is only 29k 😦 I have 4D to spend
Is there anyway of pinning with non-physical damage? I guess not
oh it is one of the tankiest builds in the game. and definitely safe for bosses when it comes to life flasks
So do you have any idea what I should focus on to sustain my energy shield in order to support that level of self damage?
My build is not actually barrier invocation, its cast on ignite but I cast so dam much that I kill myself in a split second
I do, yes, but there is a lot to explain. I run the build with comet, can reach 1000 stacks without killing abyone
basically you need all the life flask passives you can get
If you are willing I will listen to your guidance 🙏 🔥
Would this convert life regen to shield regen with life recoup?
just see the build at the end https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MUqAz9-QUOo
Oh you are a creator. Perfect I'll check it out!
I can answer questions and such
does anyone knows if this also increased damage of spells triggered or elemental expression?
recoup is over 8s? is there a notable that makes it over 4s?
this is 6s i think @silver anvil
Hang on so does life recoup also recoup energy shield by default or is there something you add to make it work?
Watched the vid and busy comparing passives and reading but so far I only see the keystone passive for flasks working on energy shield. Does that allow recoup to work?
5k isn’t too tanky IMO
recoup is only for the life, to sustain stacks. life flasks are only for the energy shield. I drink a life flask roughly every 2 seconds in maps
I have 11k ES which recharges several thousands per second xD
I wanted to make something truly impossible to fuck up so I am going with a Invoker monk and going for 10k ish ES + meditate.
But yeah that sounds way better actually kek
but it can be way higher than that, if I wanted more tankiness
11k is maybe 20-30 divines
See if I can get it to work. And if it doesn’t work may pivot to molten blast
sure
And if that doesn’t work yea may go to a infernalist loop
archmage gemling is the tankiest and safest build in the game imo
as infernalist if you forget to drink a flask you just die
but if you drink them, it's really hard to die
Already have a gemling so didn’t wanna cringe and do it again.
Mind you it’s not like my gemling is meta. It’s Doryani flicker with HH
nice
No ingenuity, cause in cool like that.
Ah ok so I think I might not need recoup then in my build because I am not running demon form
also pay attention to my life flask, belt and amulet annointment. you need a very high life flask recovery rate
So are you telling me that the insane energy shield regen is purely because of flasks?
yep
Wow ok
you can play with just 10 demon stacks without aby recoup
Do you think this will allow recoup to work for energy shield tho? Out of curiosity?
You don't no, its on the left side
hmm then it probably should, idk
Going to test now
Looks like it doesn't unfortunatly
what are the best supports for storm wave or does someone have a link to a guide/video? variations are welcome too. (non-crit, low phys damage/pillar)
Hey ya'll, so I'm playing lightning arrow deadeye following fubgun's build, what kind of bow should I be aiming for around the 2-6div mark in terms of stuff on it? Attack speed, level of proj skills, elemental damage with about 400 dps?
I need help with my build I have very low dps wtf
Can we set weapon set talent points with path of building ?
Or do I need to make two trees and switch
Working on some mercenary builds - has anyone tested the effectiveness of attack speed modifiers with single bolt ammunition? Sheet wise it seems negligble but testing in game there appear to be some minor advantages. From what i can tell atm attack speed modifiers for builds that use low or single bolt abilities doesn't seem worth
Attack speed improves reload time
okay that's way more valuable then
Though, the only one bolt skill that is useful is explosive shot
plasma bolt to start bosses too
I tried all of the other ones and they are just utterly useless lmao
Like it's astonishing how USELESS they are, I could punch the monster that would do more
this glacial bolt + frag bolt build i have right now that seems strong
Where are you at in the game ?
actII cruel
Yeah for campaign this kind of stuff will work well indeed
But in endgame .... nah :/
reload glacial bolt, shoot, reload frag bolt, shoot
It's too slow of a rotation for map clearing in endgame
Though, I guess it could still work for bosses
glacial bolt just seems abnormally strong for some reason - the aoe from wall break is insane
Got any endgame suggestions for a witchhunter?
when i attack most of the time my build change to the second weapon by it self, can i stop that ?
Well you are kind of forced to use howa
The basic stuff to do is go attribute stacking, clear with galvanic, dps bosses with shockburst
For ascendancy you can go for the rightmost one that gives way more AoE clear
Then the culling one. I then personnaly really like the sorcery ward one if you do invest a bit in evasion/armor rating
I don't use shockburst personnaly, I use rapid shot for bosses, it's cool because I don't need to shock the boss whatsoever then shockburst but eh
A friend is clearing with explosive shot + tree dragons with herald stacking and use explosive shot to shock bosses then shockburst
All of this is with crossbow obviously
Yeah I think howas Outta my budget atm, how much do they sell for?
I bought mine for 2-3 divines
You will need it at one point, it will be the biggest dps boost you can have even without a good stat stacking build so eh
Also any tree I can follow for generic galv shards build?
Hm yeahh, I'm just worried that by the time I can afford it they'll nerf it xD
Pretty sure that even if it's nerfed it will be better than anything else
Like even if it's half what it does right now
Damn
There is NOTHING to scale damage
Other gloves can bring like 10% attack speed and maybe 50 damage idk
If you have 100 int and 75 dex howa will bring more
On top of synergizing with other attribute stacking effects such as the node that gives 1% attack speed per 15 dex or even the accuracy into attack speed one (if you kind of naturally have 3k accuracy it starts being worth it)
Hey.
Running a titan build using hammer of god (just got to act 2 cruel)
I wonder if anyone has any recommend for BIS slots I need to look for or buy? (I got some divine orbs from a friend too)
is this worth 1 div? i only have 1 but i need the helmet xd
dont wanna waste
the rest go for 3+ div :(
nothing special about it
i got it anyway cus i got an amulet i needed, and didnt have str for the helmet im running before
if i scammed myself its minor its got the affixes i needed
go on your skill screen and check which weapon your skills are assigned to
tick only the one you want
and then whenever you use that skill it will make sure you are on that weapon
I'm playing Stormweaver with a Cold Conversion Fireball build. It's neat and I'm having fun with it, but I'm not sure if switching to Spark Archmage would still be fun while making gearing easier (having non-unique gloves and ring). Is there anyone here who has played both and have a good comparison?
Hello, does Olroth's Resolve life flask work with the eternal youth keystone? Will it still give me the guard effect?
Is there anybody here that could point me in the right direction to get a higher DPS on my ice monk?
What is "the seet spot" for acrobatics evasion?
anyone know how to copy/paste skills and support gems into POB? it says you can do it but it doesnt work for me
Hey I'm using stat stacking gemling with howa and I'm getting energy shield from my boots and helmet I'm thinking of swaping to evasion or evasion armor any tips on that?
I have the Asend node that gives more ev from body armour and I have like 88% ev LMAOO. DM maybe I can help abit
are elemental resistances a "defense modifier"?
No.
If you ask about quality, then elemental resistance are enhanced by their respective element. %to all elemental resistances counts as any element.
nope, just the weapon damage
100% doesnt affect it as it only affects any dmg coming from qstaff itself, i.e. attacks.
did my own checking on tooltip and made no changes to any spells
I think I need more Int
Went up from 347k to 358k, 19% increased ES and gained -50% to freeze duration by picking up a time-lost diamond and dropping the pure chaos node in the tree for my poison concoction pathfinder. Very convenient Jewel. Hope to push for 400k soon
Also off-sheet 70% increase in damage if crit recently and a good amount of poison magnitude nodes. Gonna go for audience of the king again this weekend, he got me last time with a tornado
Everyone ran from poison concoction after the bow damage nerf so nobody had any build guides out, gotta go in blind
What a people running on their gemling, that isnt a stacker 😄 ?
Question about bleed - Since bleed is based on the damage done by the hit that applies it and the fact that it cannot stack. Does this mean that you generally want to apply it with something slow and heavy rather than something fast hitting? And this would be the case for ignite as well? Poison can stack so I guess the source of application would be more lenient?
"What are people running on their gemling..."
o|
"...That isn't a stacker?"

o
bonk ?
Nah, that was me raising and lowering my hand
Ah
I'm playing a corrupting cry gemling in hcssf that's stacking str
i just feel like, its all i see 😂
I mean, it's pretty nuts with gemling
Thats true yea
Merc is also the closest to the attribute cluster at the bottom of the tree
Was tempted to see what i could do with a bow on mine
Everybody flocks to the Meta build in poe, those market prices must be rough
If you don't take the attribute stuff, you have, like... Quality, less cost, more gem slots, +1 level, and dupe supports
Corrupting cry is one stacker that definitely isn't meta, lemme tell ya
Yeah. Hmm i might tinker a bit in pob for some CI bow
what is the corrupting part ?
doesnt ring a bell fo rme
Corrupting cry is a support for warcries
AHh
That makes them apply a stacking phys dot
Base damage is 25% of your str per second per stack
So its just hit and go ?
Up to 10 stacks
I'm still in the campaign, but I realized after I made the build that I basically accidentally made the exact same build as raizqt
He has a YouTube video guide for it. Google Raizqt corrupting cry gemling
wtf happend to my fingers
Vaaled your hands
sure did 😂
Imma call it the "neck pain build" 😂
thank you man
It's one of the only one-button builds I've seen for poe2
Kinda feels like poe1 rf if you hold down the button
impending doom is a good one clicker as well
15% more maximum lightning damage
or
25% lightning damage
Which one is better? like I don't get what "maximum lightning damage" refers to compared to raw lightning damage, is it another multiplier or it just increases the range of lightning damage values even further? I'm running a non-crit build with lucky on lightning damage rolls
More maximum damage refers to the "X-Y lightning damage" shown on your skill/weapon
It raises Y by 15%
All hits are a damage roll between two values
is it good?
I imagined it was the case, but I wasn't sure
Compared to 25% increased lightning damage? Abso-fuckin-lutely
is pure power better?
Especially since lightning damage already has an insanely high damage variance
Would it be fun to try and add brute strength and stack both INT and STR for a bow build 🤔
What's pure power?
its a theoretical 7.5% average more for lightning damage isnt it?
2% increase lightning damage per 10 int or something like that
Then by that logic, then 25% lightning damage should be better since it would affect both the X and Y, right?
Anyone know for sure if there's a hard skill level cap? If I get a level 41 shockwave totem, will it really do more damage than a level 40?
i thought 40 was hard cap no?
Yes, but that doesn't account for how much a higher max hit also makes things like shock easier to inflict which can cascade into making cast on shock/crit occur more frequently
No, because that 25% increased damage is lumped in with every other %increase you have that applies
It's unclear. It was in PoE1. The majority opinion here seems to think that is not true in PoE2.
https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile2builds/comments/1i4vakf/is_their_a_skill_gem_level_cap/
mmm
If you already have 200% increased damage, that 25% inc is actually only 8.33% more damage. And you likely have way more than 200% inc damage
there's a random dude that says they got a Level 41 frost mage
let me do my own research rq, ive got a skill to lv 40 before i can push to lv 41 with my new setup
anybody know how i can tell the size of time-lost jewel radiuses?
how're u supposed to plan for these when theres no way to check
thanks, do give me a ping. I'm deathly curious but not at fun computer
Path of building has those, I think
