Well damn. That’s nice. Life could be better but those resistances are great! You could also look for a better mana flask and specifically get one with more uses.
Amulets and rings can have some mana mods too. Or if you have the spirit for it (I think it adds spirit?) you can put clarity on a buff.

just got first div from a sell at lvl 40, following nuke crit wave lightning invoker monk build so crit and phys dmg seem to be my go tos.
unsure how to make leveling more smooth
the number goes up more with crit damage than crit chance, but its good to have decent base crit chance
it increases dmg for my cold spells, but drops lightning warp damage by 900, which isnt awful bc lightning warp is not a dps spell its utility
also gives me more mana and regen
so if i buy Crit DMG next the DPS will go higher and higher right?

yes, but thats the number, you might get extremely unlucky on some ocasions so you have to not always go full all in

im running 8 arsonists keepin enemies ignited while a storm mage spamming to ram up the damage. As long as the mobs are ignited the shock applied will stay. I have a question, when the shock hits a body on fire, will that still fall inline with this support gem or will it not be counted, therefore rendering this support gem useless?

Lightning Arrow + Herald of Thunder + Herald of Ice for clear, lightining rod for rares and bosses, Cast on Shock for bosses, Orb of Storms for bosses. Shield charge + Blink in offhand for movement and survivability. I'd need to sacrifice shield charge for a curse. I won't because half of the gameplay loop is running backwards to another branch in the path

The amount of damage the triggers do far outweight the inherent anti-synergy of having +% increased attack damage in tree. But I'm aware of this issue
+% Lightning damage and +% ele damage are now preferable to attack damage. IDK how "damage with bows" works with cast on shock. Vast majority of my %inc damage comes from projectile speed and these things
That's 207% inc damage from bows with the quiver only
The real damage comes from lightning rod, which is an attack used with my bow, which then get's triggered by ball lightning triggered itself by cast-on-shock, so I assume these multipliers work in my favour right?

Hey guys I've been trying to make a fire/ignite Volcanic Fissures aftershock Titan build.
I'm currently running fissures with Tremors/Aftershock/Upheaval, and while it "feels cool" to have a bunch of explosions and aftershocks, the actual SLAM damage of volcanic fissures is so low it does next to nothing, and I have to rely on waiting for Aftershock RNG to do damage.
Im currently missing my 3rd ascendancy, which can give me Earthbreaker, and this might be a big help.

I'm a noob, but is there a reason we wouldn't just path the weaponset nodes from the bottom area by taking the gem as a standard point and then weapon set pointing the curse nodes as originally planned? Are the +5 int that only come into play when using your offhand really worth those extra points?

Will effects that 'ignite as though dealing [X] fire damage', such as Flame Wall or Radiant Grief, benefit from inc damage modifiers like "[X]% increased fire damage"?
EVERY single monk invokes build says a different VENOM DRAUGHT” to get… can someone offer advice pls? (A) 25% incr stun threshold; (b) 30% incr element ailment threshold; (c) 25% incr mana regen rate.

Stun is not a huge issue if you're an evasion build
Mana is a bigger issue the higher your main skill level and the less you're exploiting herald of ice
Ailment threshold is only a problem if you're not comfortable relying on a charm to avoid being frozen
I personally tend to go for the mana regen

There shoudn't be a limit, but it stacks linearly in speed which means it stacks hyperbolically in reload time - to get half your base reload time, you need 100% increased reload speed; to get 1/4th your base reload time, you need 300% increased reload speed; to get 1/8th, you need 700%, and so on.

This is how all 'speed'-type modifiers work in PoE 1 and 2 - cooldowns, attack speed, and so on
I suppose I first learned about it from the PoE 1 wiki page on cooldowns
You can also see the effects in the skill details panel in PoE 2 - check how much your reload time changes when you allocate a reload speed passive node
and I dont know how much that is correct bcs now I have
47% attack speed and 160% increased reload speed
base is 0.7 and I have 0.17 that is 1/4 of the 0.7 and its not even close to 300% increased

That is very interesting; do you have many sources of increased or more skill speed? (E.g. tailwind, and there's a skill speed cluster in the southeast of the tree)

bcs now when I have almost 50% attack speed increase
my nimble reload that gives 60% increased reload speed gives less than martial tempo that gives 25% more speed
now unsocketing nimble reload so going from 160%-100% I go from 0.17-0.22
I think it might be scaling the reload speed with the base attacks per second on the crossbow, as well; the math would roughly line up

A cooldown is a keyword property of skills. Skills with cooldowns cannot be used unless a cooldown is available. Once spent, a cooldown recovers over time.

I would be less likely to suspect anything animation-related than server tick issues. In PoE1, you can't do the same skill more than once in the same server tick until you can do it twice every server tick, so you can't have anything between 33 and 66 attacks per second

In terms of builds, you could try something with auto reload support like I've been doing for Rapid Shot
Stack stun, and if you're using one of the 1-bolt shotgun skills use a dyad crossbow

On rapid shot, I typically fire one magazine, get a heavy stun reload, fire till nearly empty, use emergency reload, then clean up afterward with manual reloads / a second heavy stun
and gemling have accuracy stacking = attack speed ( double inherent bonuses )

My deadeye has tailwind, acrobatics, and 4.2k life
You still have to dodge scary ele ground effects, but most builds have to

The general rule is that I would expect it to work though. Totems gain your stats, font of mana projects an aura, so font of mana should have increased aura effect.

i found that offerings don't work because apparently "it's the minion's aura not yours"
you'd think totems shouldn't work then, but totems might be an exception because of how they copy ur stats

That's the important distinction. Offerings create a minion, and minions do not get your stats.

There are a lot of benefits to more mana.
there is no such thing as "plenty" to a stacker - more is always desired.
Besides the fact that you can regen mana while being damaged recently, unlike ES, regen also scales with your max mana.

The more flat +energy shield you have on your gear/tree, the bigger of an effect the eldritch battery has. The point of getting eldritch battery is to make your energy shield benefit from mana recovery sources.
But you lose %increased energy shield scaling
then i'd think you'd go for the cast on shock
of course you have to compromise for the links

When you can attach another tuning knob to an important stat, you do it.
You can't often put double mana modifiers on an item, but you can absolutely get multiple mana and ES modifiers on an item and then convert all those ES modifiers into mana.
Because you get ES from the base stat of your gear anyways.
Might as well put that to use in a way that is very easily recoverable

You would absolutely prefer more damage, ehp (because of mom), and regen from more mana over a small dodge investment and a minor recovery from ghost dance if you run it.
Cursed Ground support would make it stay on the ground, otherwise you get the blip and just the faint inscription remains.

Well the only downside is that I had to be 3 meters near my minion if its the case. Technically, "Allies in your presence" only affects the Allies and not yourself. But if the Minions are technically wearing the amulet, then I would be considered as an "Allies within the presence" of the minion so I thought I would have had the buffs as long as I am within the presence.
I wish someone would test this

Im building a fireball/icewall witch build thats apparently meant for blood mage but im wondering if it would work on infernalist since ive only hear bad things about blood mage lol
There isn't a 'mark on hit' support/ability, right?
Infernalist got a good spirit pool for all that meta skills so I recommend it

how does path of building work with skill gems and support gems? I feel like this is poorly explained. I set up all my skills but I cant figure out where to add support gems. the DPS in POB seems way lower than in-game so I know I'm missing something

There's a few good youtube videos out there that would probably explain it better than we could in a discord. It's a pretty heavy tool.
If you found where to add skill gems though, you found where supports go. You add supports just below where you typed in the name of the skill gem.
Each line of gems on your skill page (meta+skills+supports, or skill+supports) should have its own socket group.
So it would look something like this.

It sounds way too good to be true, but to be fair upper end builds don't just tackle pinnacles with ease, they melt them like butter on a stove
is 5-10 physical dmg on a ring essentially equal to 5-10 cold dmg if i'm using ice strike?

Frenzy
Combat Frenzy persistent buff gives a Frenzy Charge, when you Freeze, Electrocute, or Pin with 1.53s cooldown at level 20
Sniper's Mark gives a charge the next time the marked target gets critted (not necessarily by you)
Power
Killing Palm culling grants 1 charge per enemy deaded
Profane Ritual grants a charge after its duration ends (idk if exploding the corpse quickens this up)
Siphoning Strike consumes a shock to give 1 charge
Power Siphon (skill granted by a wand) also culls an enemy for 1 charge
Redflare Conduit Anchorite Garb gives 20% chance to gain a charge on-hit
Voll's Protector Ironclad Vestments gives 25% chance to gain a charge on-critical-hit
and Resonance for all.
