No, from what I can see, it's people purely trying to play the market. Annuls are currently mispriced on the site, so people list things in annuls to show up before exalts, making it seem like they are the "cheapest" available

trade filters > buyout price = exalt

this deals with annul spamming scammers

you socket spells into it, you cast other spells to gain energy, and when its full you cast spellslinger to cast it instantly

so spellslinger also counts as a spell and you have to cast it to be able to use it

Just did a few maps, man this game is so damn intimidating. I had a blast during campaign and now I feel so over stimulated in maps, there's so much going on with all the new mechanics, the mob density, the fact I'm so squishy even after getting max res on everything but chaos which is like 61% atm. The map is... A lot, not really sure where to go as of yet, went to the first tower in the corruption right by base and have been going through the corrupted areas, did a breach, delirium, expedition. It doesn't help that on console my sound cuts out 99% of the time during combat and it throws me off, aside from the fact that so much going on on screen is very overstimulating in itself. I'm beginning to wonder now if I can keep playing this game.

Local is the number on armour, applying directly to that armour piece to be modified by %increased
The other two are not local mods. # to max is applied directly to your healthbar, while % increased maximum applies after everything else and multiplies it

Pseudo includes things like % Inc Evasion and Energy Shield

Better example would be Pseudo + Strength, which would include + all attributes and + strength

If you put in a minimum pseudo, say 40 strength, if an item has 40 strength, or 30 strength and 10 all attributes, or 40 all attributes, they'll all show up

Whereas only the first one will show up without the pseudo mod

There's no way to have a weighted sum in the trade search that considers local stats on an item, is there?

e.g. final ES/AR/EV value on an item after all local modifiers have been added.

Since "#% increased ES" is useless if the base ES is low, and similarly "# to maximum ES" is kind of bad if there is no "#% increased ES".

yes but you need to check if they have spark in the gem skills , yesterday I went back to them and I had to res 4 of them to get one with spark , you can disenchant the same gem and get a fresh one to use

afaik yes, there isn't - what I usually just do is either:

1. set a max price, a weighted sum minimum for decent stats and sort by the EV/ES/armour whatever is most important
2. same as above, but set a strict minimum EV/ES/armour and just sort by highest weighted sum instead, same thing

and ofc you can usually get some decent deals by looking for ones that don't already have +ev/es/armour sockets

1. Find corrupted areas
2. Clear the corrupted nexus (see image) with a waystone with 4 tiers.
3. This will get you points for your atlas.
4. Keep doing 1,2,3 until you hit 30 points. (Will require higher tier waystones for each subsequent nexus. Check quest log for what tier to use.
5. Whilst doing 1-4, keep an eye out for unique maps. Complete 5 unique maps (of different names) to get your final 10 atlas points

Your atlast will now be more rewarding

as this is happening keep running breach, delirium, expeditions and rituals when you come across them. Collect the splinters to find the pinnacle boss/event of each mechanic

This will get you points for the smaller atlas trees, which will further juice these mechanics

Also when you do clear a corrupted nexus, make sure to find a map with the tag "immobilised fury". MAke sure you complete this as it rewards a fracturing orb, which you can sell for good money to buy better gear

energy shield has a few things, recharge rate, faster start of rechage, ghost dance (if you have a hybrid eva build), and sticking it really high

once you trigger the restart of ES quickly enough, just need to stay out of danger for like 1s to get it going and it should fill up fast if you improved/stacked energy recharge

Adding a tilde allows for what's called a "fuzzy search". The lightning res example was a bit basic. But you can make searching a bit easier by using a tilde and then just typing shorthand can make the searches a bit easier

It's a bit complicated to try to break down the formula, but armour is only doing a small part of the lifting when it comes to damage mitigation. Your main elemental damage mitigation through and through are going to be your resistances. They need to be 75% or as close as possible as you can get them to 75%

I mean, resistances are just something that every build needs. smith just gets some extra defensive utility on top of it. Being in negative resistances, monsters are doing somewhere in the ballpark of like 6x more damage to you than someone with them.

Yeah. People will buy a ton of white heavy belts and chance orbs, and they either poof or turn into a unique heavy belt. There are a few different unique heavy belts, so no guarantee it'll turn into a headhunter. It's a chase unique for a reason

they're an estimate against a normal monster with the level of the area you're in

Hoax is a bit strong, but it doesn't paint the full picture. Armour itself is good against a bunch of small attacks. But the number decays the stronger the hit becomes.

It's the same with evasion, it'll say you have like 80% evade chance, but it doesn't just roll a dice every time you get hit. There's a behind-the-scenes formula that will basically guarantee you get hit twice out of every 10 hits or so. the character sheet just gives you a more basic rundown

so why not simply state it the way every other game says it, if your chance to evade is 80% you evade 80%, or if you block 80% of the damage, block 80%. For anyone that is not too deep into the data of things (like me and probably most people) it's straight up deceiving 😄 Had i know this for example, i would never have gone and done the build, because it would make no sense in the long run

As for size, so it's 2.5x the size. How good that is depends on the layout of the expedition. In general, I can usually get like 75% of the full expedition with the one explosion, unless it's like, indoors in a long corridor, or just a cursed layout
