you can slam (use exalted orb) this map twice and it becomes a 6 mod, or you can buy another one with 6 mods, that might be cheaper

we don't have too many things for now, so mixing can make the most value out of each map, but you can skip any of those if you don't like it, or slows you down, and can still be very profitable

usually the meta is what the few most popular streamers play but you can't go wrong with trying multiple and just combine them to fit your character and playstyle, and how you enjoy it the most

if this makes your maps too difficult or slow, swap some explicit to rarity or whisps

So, you do maps with Ritual Altars, then you purchase the splinters from the altars. When you have 50, you stick them in your realm gate. Go fight the ritual boss. Kill him to get 2 more skill points.

You have to defeat the pinnacle content for the endgame type

Basically you will have to fight through a boss encounter (sometimes with a pre-boss level).

You have to accumulate the shards for the corresponding endgame type, and depending on how many you use, you go to a lvl 1 - 4 encounter. beating all 4 levels gives you all 8 points

edit: except of course for the standard Map Boss content

And the Arbiter Of Ashes, who has specific items you need for the encounter, which can only be found in Citadels I think?

generally speaking if your passive tree has +projectile dmg then you can just use the bow with the highest dps, but if you went into +elemental damage or +physical damage on your passive tree then it starts to get complicated

most people pick 1 or 2 elements to focus their damage on, and if they pick 2, they use their other weapon slot to get a weapon with a lot of their 2nd type of damage

maybe category is a better word than element, I mean most people focus on physical, chaos, or elemental damage

Ok then you are a lightning focused build

Bows do physical damage as well, but you want items that increase your % of lightning damage

see this? so if you increase your physical damage %, the 40% that converts to lightning will not get boosted

and if you boost your lightning % the 60% that is still physical will not get boosted

So you need to figure out a way to boost both at once like "Projectile damage" or find a way to convert the rest of 60% phys into lighting damage (I don't know if that exists in PoE 2, it was a thing in 1)

If your passive tree was blank and you didn't have any supports on Lightning Arrow, it would do more damage with higher dps on a bow, no matter what types of elemental damage the bow also has on it

If a bow says "+% physical damage" that is a "Local" modifier not global, it means the base damage of the bow goes up

i cant find the proper information to verify this, so it might not be true. But as i recall, and from my experience, when you do a map with a map boss, the map boss will always drop a waystone 1 level higher than the one you used. I.e Killing a map boss on a T9 waystone will drop a T10 waystone

turn it off and on, it was like that for me when I removed spirit gear and put it back in. It showed as ON but negative spirit reserved. Maybe game is assuming user is swapping gear and gives a temp grace period to calculate.

doesn't have an invulnerable phase that I'm aware of? Each mechanic kind of has different tactics to survive I guess defending on what's killing you. If everything is killing you not something specific you just might not be strong enough? The worst attacks in my opinion are the frost one which best method is using a shield to block it or his mega 3 beam which you can usually dodge by getting behind or in-between the beams if you don't have time to get behind him. If he summons minions you can't kill use portals to hop to other side of room then block or roll away from his slam as he follows you

Ok so are there any lesser known means of gaining Rare Item Find I might have missed? I have a full set of gear with it (not the most expensive I could find but good enough), I used the omen that makes Chaos orb reroll all the values to Item Rarity. I used 3x Essence of Greed on the maps. Then I corrupted to try and get the rarity even higher. Any buffs or runes or anything at all I might have missed?

I also did 3x 10% rarity Tablets in each tower (1 of which in each has "Adds 1 Random Modifier to your Maps")

I have i9 9900, 5070 ti and 16GB RAM (and ssd etc ofc) and get 19-30 fps on most maps with settings to low dlss balanced. Tried all the tricks with sound channels etc does not make a difference.

How much of a performance boost would I see upgrading just my CPU or CPU+RAM ? Or is the games inherit performance just that bad that it does not matter?

I need some advice on Aureliann map boss. waystone 14. It has a lot of HP so the fight takes about 5 minutes, I'M a lich with storm mages. 1400HP, 5800 shield. 48% armor out of which 30% applies to elemental. All resists are at 75
The fight is mostly trivial, but at some point around 50% HP he starts casting a very powerful lightning beam that burns all my shield away, if I then happen to hit one of those lightning stones he spams the area with and get staggered i'm dead. If I cant roll out from the second beam I'm dead. I dont know how to avoid it, it seems be honing to the very last moment.

If you are in the in-game search maybe just try % max life without the ~. I think I saw something about that, but haven't used the in-game search myself.

Yes same problem here, it takes 50% reservation instead of 25%. Post it on the forums so the devs can see it

Question: Can you complete multiple Objectives for Atlas points in a single map? For example if I don't have:

• Area Level 80+ Map with at least 6 modifiers
• Area Level 79+ Anomaly Map Boss with at least 6 modifiers
  And I kill a lvl 80 Anomaly Map Boss w/ 6 Mods can I get 2 skill point books to drop? I think the answer is no but figured I'd check.
