They're stronger bosses that give lineage gems and atlas boss skill points as rewards. But you need to open the maps before you can access them. The Mansion can be opened by clearing maps with blue glowing particles that are close to it and interacting with the hengestones

yea, I only run yellows on the corrupted boss nodes. never run anything less than blue as it is. again, initial release was pretty easy. find a +1 node, juice the stone, reap the drops. now, not a LOT of +1 nodes (only found 2 so far) and the corruption mobs are less lucrative these days 🙁 .

Absolutely, if you're reasonably certain you can clear them. However, sometimes (especially with the double corrupt passive on atlas tree) it's better to just corrupt without doing so. This can reroll bricked maps.

you get 30 atlas points from corrupt bosses (5 each) and 10 from unique maps (2 each, can't repeat)

the points for the trees on the side come from the pinnacle boss of that content (or simulcarum for delirium)

and the points for the tree on the top come from killing map bosses under certain conditions (can hover to check)

A few break builds, use your judgements there.

Avoid corrupted blood, red ground circles, stalker (because you're new), resistances 2, lightning circles 3, enraged bosses, extra damage as chaos and petrifying statues.

Always take lethal rares, floating blood bubbles and monster resistances up.

The rest is flavor. Lesser reach and duration will kill firestorm and hurt incinerate, but help reviver minion builds and short fuse setups. No flask charges is ignorable for AoE farmers and pathfinder, less defenses ignorable for EB MoM types.

He's quite a bit stronger but if enraged bosses is the only buff he shouldn't oneshot you, he's been nerfed since launch.

He never requires you to sit still. Very obvious setups of damage to where you were standing. Big slams. That sort of thing.

Just keep running about and play range. Don't sit in any one place too long.

I have my tree done, and both weapon sets done.
set 1, is focussed on trash clear and movespeed
set 2, is focussed on single target

I have 2 crossbows, 1 in each weapon set.

I set my skills up, for example explosive shot.

I set explosive shot to use both weapon sets in the advanced section of the gem.

If I have set 1 crossbow equipped, I can run around and shoot with it, no problem.
if I then press x, it switches to my other crossbow, but as soon as I shoot, it automatically changes me back to my first crossbow...

how do map levels work? does the highest map level that I've completed drop with a small chance for higher or lower? like if I've only done up to Tier 5 then T5 drops are most common but if I do a Tier 6 now T6 is most common etc?

ok, so then what I said was right, as I do higher level maps higher level maps drop, boss can drop higher which lets you progress to higher tiers
