not exactly true, alot of people will run non-ideal maps prior to using towers so that the only nodes it can put the mechanic on are ones they want.... I feel thats a waste of time but people do it alot

once you have saved up enough tablets it really becomes a non-issue if your just focusing on a single mechanic as you can just add good mods and that mechanic to all the maps and decide if you want to run some of the less desirable ones or not

Why isn't chaos trials one of the more popular farming methods among players? After getting to maps on my genling stat stacker I kept trynna run breaches and altar map like a noob and made ok money. But nothing made me as much as I just did running 5 chaos trials with 7 levels in 60 minutes. I made about 770 ex in an hour. Do I just not know how to setup maps properly to farm loot?

so without any bonuses to meta energy, you have to crit against a rare 60 times before it activates

throw in 100 odd meta bonus from high level COC and +40 support gem, and you still need to make up the diff to 300

+100% energy is only additive, not multiplicative, so it only doubles the energy you gain per crit, so you still need to crit 30 times

was just doing the calculations now

so yeah it won't even activate on a unique without critting them multiple times

doing COC is hard is the conclusion
