Besides honour res (#1), and learning the bosses (of course), the next step is to ensure you get to those bosses in the best shape you can.

So I'm a normal Merc (no statstacking, just tossing grenades) and I'm really struggling with getting popped in t16 maps. I have 60% armor, 3400 health, capped resists, and 75% evasion so I think my gear is decent. Should I just abandon hybrid armor and try to go full evasion + acrobatics? Feels really bad compared to these energy shield builds with 14k es.

Some things just won't be in poe2, for example if a skill never gets added then the skill cosmetics for that one wouldn't be brought over ofc.

well rolled non-unique gems go for multple divs, especially sapphires

dont necessarily need to alch them all but the more mods you add to maps generally increases waystone drops so if you can sustain it then its best to upgrade maps as much as possible

3 waystones of the same tier can be reforged into 1 tier higher, so at the start you want to pick up all the waystones you find. Doryani sells infinite T1 stones so that can help very early on to fill in a reforge. The Atlas tree has many nodes for more/higher tier waystones that really helps, so you might just wanna run the lowest tier required for that quest just to help sustain until you get more points.

And yeah at minimum you wanna Regal them, current market gives you 20 regals for 1 exalt so it's affordable enough

it's a little tedious but you can also trade for them, hopefully the 1-2 regal listings are real sales xdd

Question, i just died from an elite that i killed, and i'm trying to figure out how some of the mechanics work:

• During expedition it had "all dmaage from monsters contribute to poisin magniture, monsters poisin on hit"
  -it didn't hit me, it died pretty much as it spawned, however as it died it exploded immediately
  -i am runnign chaos innoculation w/ eternal youth, my ES pool turned purple, and drained to 100hp from 7.8k ES
  -despite spamming hp pots, my es pool not move up at all and i died a moment after from a projectile off map

Does poisin prevent pot on ES? and was I seeing wrong; can mobs apply damage after death?

You can assign how valuable each stat is with a Weight (it multiplies it against the value) and adds them together. You set a minimum value until you have about 20 results left.
For deciding Weights I'm not sure myself. What I usually do is set my max budget, search for items with just "has this 1 property", sort to see the highest value for that property, then set Weight = 100/(highest found value). Do that for all properties. This normalises each value so that a 100 means the best possible for that budget.
So in my setup a sum of 400 means it's equivalent to 4 maxed out stats. Obviously flawed because it depends on what's currently available on the market but I'm usually too impatient to wait a few hours xdd.

Bit new to the heavier crafting side myself, and might get different feedback in #2┃crafting-advice , but imo it's more about what you want to do with the items.

Like if you work from blues and are prepared to invest into crafting from a good base (greater essences, annuls/chaos, etc) then you might prefer to roll blues first.

Get two mods you really want to start with before advancing to rare.

If you've already got a "good" modifier (what most people would call good), you have a prefix. If you aug then you're going to get a suffix in that case.

Suffixes are where most of the things people would call "bad" live, but also the way you up your waystone drop chance.

That's kind of the idea. If you want to go as much of the "good" stuff as you can, you're going to have to aug it anyway.

Since you're not going to max your prefixes without going for a rare.

But you also need to take on some suffixes, because you do need to keep your waystones coming in.

you get as much res as possible on boots + amulet (get 30+ spirit on it, you can't afford spirit corrupt on atziri), you use a budget morior (att + x 5 socket), you use 2 socket howa (can wait) + 2 socket atziri (ele res ofc), you don't care about chaos res (you use ele res cores)
