ilvl is a big difference tho. Some good rolls is possible only on ilvl82 bases, which is t18.

Well that's so simple right? The only problem is that it is not. I have no idea for example if level of monsters affect droprate of currency or rarity of currency. I never asked for any tier level mods on the maps. Till now I was running exclusively t15 maps, trying to focus these with good prefixes, and reforge everything else.
The thing is I am reforgin lots of t12, t13. t14 maps with sick prefixes, like the mentioned 85/20/35 pack size.
I noticed once while running the travel node on t1, that it looted me divine orb, and started wandering if it is not simply better to run juiced t14 breach instead of mid t15. What does max tier modifier of map has to do with it?

Nothing affect drop rate except mods.
Only matters in case of tier of maps is ilvl.

You can run juiced t14 indeed, because looks like there is no good ilvl79 mods at all.
But then if map has +2 levels you would miss ilvl81 bases. That's all you loose.

Tho, I wouldn't like to miss ilvl82.
It's easier to buy bulk t14/t15 white and craft them, them, then waste time on reforging and as well missing ilvl82 loot.
I just sold one of random drops i slammed with ex for 6 divs, and there is a lof of such things in stash, tho I probably overpiced them.

But some things do not require high-tier maps at all. Rings as example have only one ilvl81 mod - rarity, and 3 resistance mod - ilvl82.
Tho it's also means you can't have chance get ilvl 81/82 mod when slamming.

@lavish yoke so, probably best idea would be to run best maps even low tiers, BUT when you have like a lot of towers in small range, and you cleaned 'bad layouts' and there is like no more then 20 maps are in radius, you can easily slam those with 2 breaches quant, as well as add irradiation and other tablets that has quant or rare mobs on them. This feels like a way to go IMO.
So keeping those t15 for such cases if you low on them.

I am generaly not low on t15 (got like 100 unidentified/not checked/prepared), but it gets a bit expensive for me to prepare a lot of good ones, as each is aroung 3 exalted orbs at least (and I am constantly very low on currency), and I am discarding around 50% of them to dump stash eitherway, because my build can't handle some suffixes (high dmg but squishy). Based on what you said in most cases, when I am not going with t16 anyway (and would still need corruption and irradiation n the map for 82 lvl bases), there wouldn't be a big difference between t15 and t14/13. In such cases I could utilize juiced t13/t14 in a hope of good currency drop (for example in 11 breaches map - 100 rarity, some quant and big pack size makes a huge diff).

Me and my buddy lost 3 stones citadels, 1 iron citadel and dozens of T17 bosses. It happened sporadically before patch but since then it seems to be on 2 out of 3 maps. Never happens in solo, only multiplayer.

You can certainly get unlucky with afflictions and make a run nearly impossible. For relics, I think focusing on honor resistance and then merchant / sacred water bonuses is the best strategy.

I would like to see the floors leading up to the boss be harder and for the final boss to be a bit easier personally. The floors/rooms themselves seem WAY easier than the boss to me.

you have to get extremely lucky with a vaal orb. One possible outcome is a divine orb + a random multiplier from 0.8-1.2. You need it to pick the divine orb option AND get a max multiplier.
