the main thing to look for is to use your best waystones for ones that have good bonuses, like a Map Boss. Map bosses drop a ton of waystones, so you always wanna use good waystones of the highest tier you can confidently beat on Map Boss nodes

You are basically engraving a new skill gem of that level over the other so in your inventory you will have (lets say, I have a lvl 18 skill gem with 4 links corrupted to lvl 19) and I engrage it with lvl 20, it creates a new lvl 20 (uncorrupted) while the old lvl 19 (corrupted) is still there

and it'll be 21 if the corruption was a +1 level

If u vaal into only prefix ur map has no wayatone % modifier on it. So unless there is hidden quant I don't think they're useful. And in my experience, I don't think there's hidden quant
