@tough elbow supports do not work as skill gems. They always stay lvl1, but you need different uncutted to pick the highter tier supports. thats all. Also some int/str/dex requirements. each gem cost +5 to one of those

The best way to rank up in maps is to save a juiced rare map of your highest tier for the boss node

it almost always gets you at least 1 tier higher than the map you ran on

Thats correct. The other 4 more points have to be obtained by normal djinn and inscribed ultimatum. Look out for the words saying able to obtain ascendancy points. You should be able to get it from endgame content

Not green. Green is quest. Its no longer a quest anymore. The quest initially at the act is to introduce to the players the ascendancy system.

You should be able to get it along the way in endgame while completing those waypoint. It will be a normal loot drop.

Do items have 3 prefix and 3 suffix? How about "implicits"?

implicits come with an item base type

for example a iron ring will always have adds phys dmg to attacks as the implicit

and it doesnt take up a modifier slot

But you won't drop those until area level 65+ give or take

and you probably won't be able to do it to begin with until you're level 70+ or so
