Hey just checking, you tried dodging?
LMAO zero space I'm jokin
If you want help, post your temple layout
- I don't see any spooky map mods in your temple, that's good. Those medallions that add random ones for 10 runs can get nasty
- As aformentioned it's those damn thaumaturgy rooms, should be able to hover them and see the line mentioning sergeants
I don't really understand the temple tech. Seeing some videos today. Might have to destroy my temple to build it
Depending on your goals, you don't need to ever do any techs
I have a few Russian techs in mine, where you go spymatser > garrison > spymaster, but unless your goal is to print mirrors then just focus on making the longest chain possible with as many spymasters as possible. Two chains is fine, three is tough to sustain usually
I run three chains simply because I don't care about one of them, it's just there for momentary gains. Not 100% efficient but it's being realistic for my time investment. Getting to 100 is my goal
Starting over is also fine, if it's truly scuffed then rebuilding is your best bet
But you could do a few more runs, learn a few more lessons (whether they are good or bad) and then reset later. Again depends on how much time you plan on grinding and how quickly you replenish your crystals
I can focus on long chains. I have to get these monkeys out of my temple tho. I keep getting the dual monkeys like in my screen shot.
Where in your chains are your thaumaturgy rooms
Helo me
WTB ascension carry.
Hi does anyone help in power leveling?
Hi guys, I killed Balbara and got her Barya but I still didn't get the Trial or Sekhemas quest and I can't teleport there, the waypoint didn't appear
you need to progress past the gate area first
hello there guys, does poe2 have an awakened trades
it's called exiled exchange 2
thanks
what does it mean by "shattering"
ohhh so thats what underline does
I was pressing alt like a madman xD
how do I get the 3rd - 5th slots
level 🆙
more info here
https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Gem_socket
A gem socket is a socket in a gem which can have another type of gem socketed into it to modify the original gem.
thanks!
When you hold alt you can click underlined text in tooltips. That pops out a window with more information.
therefore I need lvl 32 to get a 3rd socket? damn
it's usually around that level you would find a lesser jeweler's orb for skill gems
oh ic thanks
silly question
how long does act1 usually take
on avg
there are some guaranteed jeweller's orb too
1 lesser in the buried shrine league mechanic lvl 20~25
1 lesser in the sandswept march lvl 31
1 lesser in the isle of kin lvl 45~50
1 greater in the ngakanu league mechanic lvl 53
act duration can largely vary depending on a lot of factors
i think for someone whos played a couple seasons its around an hour
Im 3h in lmao
okay tyvm!
first time?
Just have fun man you'll get faster as you play more
yup, playing as the frost wolf
shapeshifting is such a cool ass feature
in my 600h of poe1 I havent had fun like this
yeah spirit gems are reallyyy ridiculously rare in the campaign
good thing I dropped one cuz I needed savage fury for that extra dps
Does Riven armour debuff work with crits?
If the hit that applies riven armour is a crit, then the magnitude of the debuff will be higher, yes.
but for the subsequent hits which gain the damage it's unscalable.
ye its specified
it just doesnt double dips
so the application debuff only cares about how big is the hit
regardless of crit or not
would anybody mind explaining to me how anointing works in poe2? I dont rlly understand from the guides I found
Are you coming from PoE 1? It's very similar to that system, except the liquid emotions are the currency to apply instead of the oils.
Yup, 600h in good old poe1 yet Im highly overwhelmed xD. Do I apply the anoints at a special npc? if so, where?
Nope, right click on any of them in inventory and the instilling UI pops up.
oh bett! one more thing, when do I unlock currency exchange? act3?
Very beginning of Act 4
oh damn
Should I focus on resistances early on? I'm only in act 2 but i feel like im taking a lot of damage. (playing werewolf)
Yes, life and resistances are your defensive priorities. The resist penalty at the end of each act is your reminder to focus on them.
Resistances will become important after campaign but i think more experienced players can get through campaign with minimal resists, just avoid the big negative values. Physical armor is probably the easiest defense for clearing campaign. If you have some kind of leech or solid regen, that's usually good enough for campaign. Picking up decent life rolls helps too. I'll often use armor base gear just for campaign, for any build. Getting to level 50s and higher is usually pretty easy with just armor and Life. Offense or main weapon is usually the most important piece of gear. Usually need an upgrade for each act, a really strong rare can get you an extra act, roughly.
guys can I remove runes already applied on an item
Vaal temple has a room that drops an item to destroy your item and rip the augment out for future use
If you want to keep the item intact, you cant
Ah I see, thanks
Incase you aren't aware, and it's not about retrieving the current rune, you can just put in a new one and it will override the current one.
thats good to know, its not abt that but thanks!
ITS SIN
any news on the next season?
it'll be posted in #poe2-news
any advice for a monk build stalling in early act 3?
What kind of build, and stalling how?
invoker, planning to go flicker strike. mostly lack of defenses but im not sure how to gear myself i guess
i would say for the love of fuck get some hp but this isn't poe1 and killing everything in early acts isn't a given
as i found out
Anyone else get the bug there you can’t pick a option for the medallion in valley of the titans act 2? How do I fix it.
Life and resists on gear are always the priority. Followed by your chosen defensive layers. Evasion, etc.
ive already done flicker strike and rampage bear. so what other builds should i do ?
Or whats like low budget nuker?
Create a new instance with ctrl click on waystone map. Hopefully it doesn't consume your relics. If it does and you can't use it don't worry about it, it's a very minor buff and game resets in like 2 weeks.
That was the first thing I tried.
No fix then.
Looked into it deeper I would have to let someone log into my account on a pc to manually click one of the options
Poe2 dose not support Keyboard and mouse on Xbox
So I can’t do that even if I plug one in
Yeah that's normal unfortunately. Consoles are barely supported and always buggy. It's why most people use pc for these types of games.
How it happens tho is if you are playing with other ppl and you join the instance and they put there’s in before you get there it bugs it out on console
Taking the PC versions UI
Instead of the console UI for choosing an option
You can make a report about it on the bug forums but they get flooded so probably won't see it. Either way just pretend it doesn't exist charms are pretty meh.
I’ll get that character killed in maps anyway it’s a hard-core
Before the update
lol
Offscreen oneshot moment lol. I'm not brave enough to do hardcore until endgame reworks.
It’s so much fun thoXD
Just a more cautiously playing, and you can’t go glass cannon
Goodluck with the act2 boss. With 2000 life and 75% resists he took 8 tries because of that fucking sword attack lol.
You can’t just build life. Best option right now is life/ES with mana over life.
You can get 4k hp easy by interludes
I know. I have 1500es, 500 life, and max res.
His zoning is just way too much right now. The arena is very flooded. He's not hard he's just tedious.
You need 3.5k HP pool for Azmadi, the Faridun Prince
Even that is cutting it close
That just saves you from being 1 hit lol. Watch out for combos.
By end of act 3 I should have about 5k. This game is just dark souls 3. You simply memorise the attacks and if you get hit you deserve to perish.
I beat the wolf by just applying chaos burns to him and perfectly one-shotting his summons. If I get hit by a frost beam I deserved to die.
I did the dancer at level 10 in ds3 and that was easier than some of these bosses lol
Last character, I can got 3 time 1 shot from chaos monkey in act 4 I wish I recorded it. I got slam, monkeys on pillars and run to the circle. All three one shot mechanics at the same time.
It was beautiful
I've not gotten to act 4 yet but the large gorilla with a concrete block one-tapped me 4 times before I realised the central pillar blocks the slam.
Honestly, he’s best fought up close. It’s easy just to roll through him.
It’s only the three time combo slam that hits for over 1.5k hp pool.
The one swing or the two swing only hits like 900 hp
Pretty accurate
when do I unlock my hideout
Endgame
Act 4
I wonder if they'll bring Helena back from poe1 for hideouts when the campaign is ready. I imagine we'll get them like act 4 or 5.
ah ight
Hey Everyone. New to PoE in general. So i wanna play my first character all the way through and learn the game entirely. Is there anything i shouldnt miss or like a list of must dos to maximize character during the entire campaign itself? Like if i miss something in an act can i miss it entirely or something?
there's no character bonuses you can permanently miss
There's nothing you can't just go back and get.
There's definitely things you could conceivably completely forget about like passive points and permanent resist boosts
there are some choice buffs where you have to take one or the other and can't change it later
funny "I got to level 100 and realized I didn't pick up my resist reward at level 12" deals
Was abt to ask for that cuz Im lvl 50 and I didnt fight the cold res lady or lightning res dude, where r they?
Im on my 1st playthru
clearfell and spires of deshar
Thanks
https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/List_of_quest_rewards
Slightly outdated but mostly correct.
google act rewards, you should get the permanent act rewards
learn the right item mods, passives, skills and supports, learn trading
just talk to ange
one more thing
what was that skill that when u cast, it makes enemies be like 50% more freezable
I don't know all skills and there might be several that can do that. The one that comes to my mind is freezing mark.
nah it was smth storm like
but thanks
oh right its thunderstorm
hi guys!
I see that when i go to p2p market, weapons have their DPS calculated and shown below the weapon. Can I see the dps of weapon that i have on me?
☝️ this is also a great use case for Path of Building, if you're okay using an external tool.
I really wish the Story Help more Overall
hmm, what about +x phys damage. Is that already included in the dmg calculation? Here my dps would be (52+107)/2=74 x1.1 = ~80DPS?
All the other bonuses like 36% & 152% increased phys damage is already in the calculation?
52-107 already incorporates the local modifiers
it's blue because it's showing a modified valye, hold alt to see the base value
so (52+107)/2x1.1 is correct
Do we know who the ancients are?
inexplicably technologically superior precursors of all civilizations, or something like that.
the builders of the stargate system
What's the most efficient way to try and farm ghostwrithe early like act 1, 2. I just think it's cute and want it quickly
For POE1 or 2?
Either way its a random drop and not an item you just throw on, like most uniques. You build around it.
For 2
My answer remains the same. Uniques are mostly random drops.
And Ghostwrithe can make you die faster if you don't build around it.
I can give you one if you want one
I have a spare
I am EST (so I think 1 hour ahead of you). DM me when you are online. I should be online then as I play late at night
Ghostwrithe can be equipped at level 1
unless you add level 30 requirement Runes to it or something (I have a bare one available - so no worries)
Guys, what does this percentage mean? Like how much effect of possessed azmeri monster has?
its usually ailments or debuffs that youre putting on the mob. 73% freeze build up ect.
it can be how much effect they have by the spirit i beleive
is there somewhere with builds and stuff i can follow, im struggling to understand everything lol
Maxroll and mobalytics, look for league starters that are for the current league. Maxroll tends to have the most in-depth guides. If you have specific questions ask here.
Is there a setting that hides the item drops by default? I cant even see what drops from mobs most of the time. I just started playing so I've no idea
press z
Wow that fixed it, thank you
Also how useful are loot filters when you start the game? How do I look for one?
pretty useful
https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/NeverSink-3349/item-filters
you can follow neversink's filters here, login to your account and click follow and they will appear in your filters ingame, they will automatically update also
start from NeverSink-2semistr-PoE2 to 6
woopps wrong channel
Guys any idea how to get gold for early game? Im at act 8 now and i don have any firepower to clear it. So i need gold to buy items from other ppl which i don have
You're not in act 8 or you're not playing PoE 2
gold is just very scarce in the campaign, you have to spend less gold on respeccing and gambling
is a staff with 104% spell damage rare? it’s the highest I’ve ever found
not really, depends on your lvl too
Could anyone recommend early Druid skills? Everything feels so bad for me in the first handful of levels so far
it's primal skills, not druid skills. rend is great
you could also use other weapons skills or spells
Depends on the type of build you're going for and how you're trying to use them. Look for synergies.
Which form u toggle on in the inventory gives an attack that replaces ur default attack and enables or interacts w shapeshift skills
What gem should i use after sunder im in act 5 and lvl 47
pick the leveling build. there is lightning arrow, essence drain, shield wall, rend etc
POE1 or POE2?
I have 300 coins and I saw that the best place to spend them would be on tabs of some kind but im not sure which to buy, any advice on that front? thank you :)
currency and merchant at least
currency, merchant, one regular tab
apologies
im stuck at act 2 boss and cant beat him what to do ?
Depends on the type of trouble you're having. Try to get some lightning resist if you don't have it, check vendors for better weapons/bases, see if you can find more gear with life on it, learn his attacks patterns and dodge most of it.
imma try to look into market ya
There should be zero trading necessary at that point. I'm talking about NPC vendors. Using crafting currency. Socketing runes. Gambling at the gold vendor. Making sure your support gems are damage oriented. Whay kind of build is it?
oh i see, and my build is frost werewolf build and in0.3 when i had an deadeye build i was breezing up to act 4 with ease but here its a new beast to handle heheh
learn to trade, use the right supports and skills
look for life and resistances on gear, also damage mods
gotcha thx ^^
Your talisman is super important because all your skills are attacks. The better the talisman, the more damage you do. And wolf builds are pretty combo oriented early. So like lunar assault to freeze, shred to do damage and drop ice fragments, and then cross slash to detonate the ice fragments.
Anyone need help in story?
Hi! I am hard stuck on Krutog in act 4 as lv 55 Monk... Is someone available to help me?
Im on Ps5
is it possible tu use Warrior with whirling assualt?
is that a good combo? a warrior titan, sorry im very low level 9
just looking at all the skills
Yes it's perfectly viable. AOE + melee 2h damage are going to be your best scalers outside of crit and they are found in plenty around warrior start
Going off poeninja stats with 7,000 users of whirling assault; Half are invoker, a fifth are titan, and the rest are miscellaneous. Plenty of people to cross reference, maybe some use a certain unique or interaction while others don't, etc
ok thank you, when do i get to have 2 weapon sets?
like i can switch from daul axe to spear how?
By picking one up off the ground or buying from a vendor and replacing your maces (axes don't exist yet fam)
If you meant the skill points, those you get as quest rewards throughout campaign. 24 by the end
yea i know that but if im in battle and want to quickly swap my weapon and skills for another, can i do it with a button?
the skill gems and support gems can drop infinatley from enemies?
So that you can literally just press whirling assault, then press rolling slam, then whirling assault again. No x in-between
That gameplay loop sounds rough tho, usually weapon sets are used for extra debuffs while bossing, mobility during mapping
Yes you can farm a zone over and over for skill and support gems, to varying degrees of success. Sometimes I'll go the first two acts without seeing more than one support gem lmao. If your build is fun to farm on in campaign, do so 🙂
If not, proceed until you hit a wall and then farm up maybe
If you want something aspirational... Wouldn't recommend blindly following this but Prada is known for using a 1h mace with boneshatter to move around. Other ppl do this but he typically incorporates it into every build. Again not noob friendly and it's only one way to play whirling assault late game
Hands DOWN the most fun build I've made this league! Smith of Kitava's fire spell on hit node is broken OP with Detonate Dead. The whole screen gets hit with every attack and we have multiple damage sources to aid the clear. Single target is great with the Tempest Bell and everything gets stunned instantly. HIGHLY recommend you check the Mobalyt...
thats maybe im too new, he is using what looks like a crossbow but in game is character looks like hes using a staff
is that a transmog or something
maybe im wrong but a whirl skill only works with a quater staff right?
timestamp? i just started the vid and i'm seeing a quarterstaff
he could have a crossbow in his weapon swap
oh, that's a unique mace
Trenchtimbre lol
You assign skills to specific weapon sets and when you use the skill it automatically swaps and uses the skill. So I had a quarterstaff and crossbow set up for freezing and then shattering enemies.
im running blight shadow rn. i havent played in a few years. i kinda wanna do poison specifically instead of spell. idk. i feel like im killing stuff alot quicker than normal tho so ig it works.
any thoughts?
Yes, you're in the wrong channel, you want #1┃new-player-in-campaign-help and spells can poison also so I don't know what you mean by poison instead of spell.
cause blight just does damage over time while alot of skill tree things are poison specific. im thinking i do a crit based poison thing so i cant take the major skill that makes crit poisons stronger
Go to the right channel.
you sound like a redditor. take this downvote
this is a poe2 channel
one and only warning to be respectful in the help channels.
What are ancients ?
In which context? The name of the next update?
The update
I'm not a huge lore guy and this is probably the wrong channel for this but I think it refers to a race of beings that predates even the vaal civilization that you see in act 3. It may also refer to Trials of The Ancients returning, a gameplay mechanic from POE1 that is supposed to be the third option for unlocking our ascendancies in POE2.
i have 2 poe accounts on two steam accounts .. is it possible can i move one character from one account to the other? even if i pay?
You'd have to email support but you should definitely try to merge accounts. No reason to have multiple. No guarantees they'll do anything but you can ask.
Does local multiplayer count the same as playing with another account in terms of scaling difficulty and rewards/loot drops?
Yep!
You can see this if you go to the party screen while logged in to local co-op
Thanks. So, I can have my own second character follow me through the temple and leech XP and maybe even boost the drops using some rarity gear
Might be a random question to ask but is it better to have a higher + to skills and no increased spell dmg on weapon or a lower + to skills and like 100% increased spell dmg?
Depends on a context. +1 to level may or may not be better. Usually it is better but better to check it yourself.
If you have no increased damage on a tree spell damage is better. But you normally do have at least something.
Is the easiest way to check to buy the item and just compare in the skill gem window?
The easiest way is to import your build into Path of Building and compare there, where you can actually change conditional settings and get more accurate results
Some skills don't even update in real time you have to pluck the gem out and put it back in to refresh
It's fine for a quick glance especially if you know how much of your build is conditional. As a caster example, there are multiple notables for spell damage/cast speed/crit after doing something, usually landing a crit. These are considered conditional damage since they are not applied to your character 100% of the time
+to skills is often 70 times better than increased damage, just open pob and see how your damage changesthen give increased damage value 3 for example and + to skills 210 in the trading search
usually you want +6 to one ele if your spells have the same ele or +5 to all spells otherwise
after that you want 1 or 2 increased damage, 1 or 2 gain extra damage, cast speed, crit chance, skills
cast speed and gain extra both around 16 value, crit chance 6, but it depends on your build
Can anyone explain to me how you're supposed to find the grim tangle? I'm trying to do some practise before 0.5 and it seems like it's completely random? I saw a few people who say follow the fungal looking guys but they genuinely just spawn randomly from what I can tell
Most of the time, the grelwood's points of interest will form this kind of shape.
Areagne's hut will almost always form a diagonal with Brambleghast.
Grimtangle and the tree of souls are interchangeable.
That's usually how it is, but some layouts can be trickier.
This is what I kinda assumed after a couple attempts but it feels like so many zones are closer to random than having a method to them. Just so frustrating to explore the entire zone before finding it spawned way off on some awkward side somewhere
They usually change directions each league, but overall if you see one of the points it can give you an idea where to look for the next.
how good is infernalist in mega late game?
Access to some of the largest multipliers albeit kinda wonky
What I mean is Pain Attunement and Grinning Immolation, give them a Google and then look up Cowards Legacy belt as well
25% of your life will be reserved and your belt slot is taken, but you'll get two fat crit multis for it
Prob lots of videos on different builds on YouTube, and you can hit up the Infernalist chat once you've started narrowing your search?
so ive alr reached mapping with slam titan, spent like 50-60 divs on building (not great not bad build), between these two classes which one u say is stronger
I wouldn't 😅
Both you can do p much anything
Mace infernalist has been done many times, and casters play titan sometimes for various reasons
If you like the idea of skipping campaign but switching builds, you could consider respeccing your titan
If you're nervous about a late game respec, I say reroll and then you can simply go back to mapping if campaign isn't feeling fresh
With 50-60 divs even tho many budget items can be found, you'll probably save yourself some stress by leveling a witch.
Typically cross-class builds such as ritualist or titan caster require more of the green stuff 💸
Hello would someone be able to recommend me a highly detailed build guide? this is my 2nd time playing the first time i followed a lightning deadeye guide that was very nice, multiple steps for what i need to focus on in each act (https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/lightning-arrow-deadeye-leveling-build-guide) if anyone knows a guide similar to this one please let me know!
stuck at drednaught boss does anyone know a good bone storm build
A bone storm build is just going to be 3 support gems, passive tree, and crappy campaign gear. I can give some general tips and find a link to reference supports/passives afterwards
- Jamanra is well known to be a relatively long fight, a "stat check" in other words, so don't feel bad about being stuck there and trying more than once
- I'd recommend at least making sure your bonestorm is level 9. you can farm the dreadnought vanguard until level 31-35 quite easily, would recommend doing so especially if you haven't tried resetting a zone before. This gets you more life, a few skill points, and upgraded skill gems. Maybe some crafting materials drop that you can slam on items you find, like a staff. Our options are limited but some zones can be great to reset once or twice! Bonus points if you see any Essences, those are very good while leveling in addition to abyssal currency. One spell damage essence or low level jawbone can make a crazy difference
- Upgrade flasks! Anything besides the one that drains your other resource on use should be fine. Also avoid the minion mod. You can go for instant recovery or +total amount recovered, both solid. Upgraded flasks take so much pressure off you in some fights it's insane
Burgeon, brutality, and zenith 2 are good options
If you don't have a lesser jeweler I'm fairly sure the vaal temple in Lost City or Buried Shrines will drop one, and it should be fairly common from temple itself
Good to note you can get some temple crystals while runnin dreadnought, temple is +1 level usually so you could finish the farm off with a temple run
the main thing that's hidden is what skills are good and what skills are bad in the campaign, you just gotta know that or try them out
the strong skills are essence drain, shield wall, lightning arrow, rend etc.
supports are on poeninja, items for spellcasters + to skills, for attacking flat damage, for both increased damage
you don't need a build guide for campaign really
i just want a nice smooth campaign so i can explore the htings after it really
Give us something you want to play or we can't really help. So far there is no guide or build maker that has reach Pohx-level of popularity and support so you have to put a little effort into your search
Realistically if you followed a guide and had a successful campaign you should be able to apply that same knowledge towards a new build...
Get maximum life on gear, keep your resistances above zero, look for boots with movement speed, etc
Enjoy bows and want an easy transition? Go crossbow or spear. You already know what mods to look for on bows, it's really not that different for other martial weapons.
Sites like Poeninja allow you to figure out support gems, potential unique item interactions, annointments for amulet, type of jewels to buy both rare and unique, and more
i only got to level 55 and have since forgotten basically everything but i think i would burn out if i followed the same guide
same build*
.
The specific build you linked has a creator. All I did was click on his name and then poe2 and I see this list
Plenty to dive into
oh nice thank you
a few of those builds are the same build in different context
Let me know what you decide, always curious!
i ended up going with the essence drain lich guide which inow realise is on the main page for levelling guides and i was blind and couldnt find it
hello, what are the seven pillars in Qimag, and why are they red, and why cant i find them?
They're in a side room that lets you select one of seven buffs that you can change later.
mm.. where is the side room. i think i have mapped the whole area twice already
dang
venting on discord helps, there was a small corner that i hadnt noticed
Is there a way to unsummon sentinel of radiance?
They don't exist in poe2, otherwise the answer is pluck the gem out of its socket and put it back in
will the update on may 29
bring furnished endgame content to the game?
We'll know next week during the Livestream reveal. My guess is making the Temple part of the endgame mechanic pool (like they did with Abyss) and the new league mechanic
does poe2 have weekend stash sale like poe1? if yes then when will it happen again?
In 13 days, based on poe2db
ty
lots of practice and efficient build
Whats the best begginer class for poe 2 someone who never played poe 1 what class would you recommend
Like hey if this your 1st time try this class
skills belong to weapons, not classes, great leveling builds that are also great in the endgame are essence drain lich, lightning arrow deadeye/amazon, shield wall titan/kitava, rend druid
excellent question. they make youtube guides and lie that its about the build lol
its all about knowing the map layouts, knowing where to go
a strong build could take you down to 18 hours maybe, then the map layouts take you all the way down to 4 hours
well, there's a bit more than that
Doing something for the first time vs doing something for the 67th time there are bound to be areas of improvement
Racers get it done in 4, "leaguestart" YouTubers like tuadh get it done in 5-6, and my friends and I usually take around 8
Simply knowing where you are putting your skill points and knowing what skill and support gems to cut can save you the "most" time and that's verbatim from angormus himself, who has many of the layouts memorized and frequents the codex discord where they discuss layouts a ton.
Speaking of I gotta get in that, heard someone from ggg ask which layouts people hate the most and will be tweaking things in 0.5🤞
Can anybody help me? I am trying to use the tame beast skill... I cast it on a beast, but it only cast a light cyan seal at my feet for a second, nothing similar to a wisp ever attach to a rare beast or anything of the sort. Upon killing the beast, nothing happens. How the hell do I do it? Is it because I am using controller that it just cast at my feet? haven't had an issue with any other skill
Are you sure the monster type you're trying to target is actually a beast and it is rare?
Yes to both
I have also killed it withing the 9s window
i got the ||horn|| for the ||sandstorm|| quest in act 2 but the ||guy who made the sandstorm|| was back at the ||top of the gates|| when i came back to ||blow the horn to get rif of the storm|| and now im standing at ||the sandstorm and asala wants to ask the old woman for help again||
i seem to be stuck because of this
you don't blow the horn there. go to the front of the caravan
ohhh ill do that thanks
for hunter should we concenrate more on attack speed or attack damage for tornado's?
Well the skill tornado is a spell. Not an attack. Or are you referring to something else?
he probably means twisters from the context, you mainly focus around attack dmg and projectile speed for them
you use a weapo swap for attack speed wich you use for whirlwind slash
Oh yeah forgot there is both.
Im only level 6 not that far ahead
Is there a way to remove the points I already put in?
oh yeah then dont even worry about anything
later
gotta unlock the npc after the graveyard first
Yeah you're going to want both in some capacity for any attack build really.
But keeping your weapon up to date is also the most important thing about attack builds.
The hooded one i guess
ye
how do you unsanctify an item?
you cant
sanctify is like corrupt, once its done you cant go back or modify the item anymore
I'm at a complete loss on how to build my character, what are the best general resources to help understand what i need?
Follow a build guide. Pick what seems interesting to you
Did you have a type of build/main skill in mind?
Just a character so far. I'm going monk but at level 29 i feel my dps is lacking and that I'm dying to any light breeze
you gotta look at builds on youtube and poeninja and make at least one similar builds to understand it
say the skill to describe the build, the ascendancy alone is useless. after the skill you can say the ascendancy, support or an item
with qstaff you need life and resistances, flat damage, qstaff should have high damage. learn trading
- to melee skills also good
Life and resistances are your priority on gear, along with increasing amounts of damage on your weapon, assuming you're using attacks and not spells. Beyond that its about finding synergies between skills and support gems and the passives on the tree you're taking.
If you have more specific questions we can answer them.
Thanks. I'll be reading some guides on what you guys mentioned, then I'll surely come back
Maxroll has some decent build guides if you want to use them for inspiration. Just look for 0.4 league starters. You can use poe.ninja but its often a trap because its just a build showcase and includes builds from people with super rare/expensive items and all of that.
Is it worth it to keep replaying act 1 and 2 maps and bosses for better gear or should i just keep moving forward with the story.
Like, I'm at level 29 and with a level 5 boots, doesn't seem ideal
Item level doesn't tell you everything, some items you can find early and wear into maps (a minion player finding a helmet in act 1 would keep that helmet until they find another +1 minion mod, everything else doesn't matter)
To answer your question tho, you should consider that everyone's different when it comes to campaign in general. Some treat it like lava, others are more than happy to slow down. Even speed runners have to farm a zone sometimes if they've been going too fast and feel weak. It's all relative (your power vs zone level)
For movement speed your best chance is to check the armour vendor in town frequently... When you level up they change some of their inventory and you'll find movespeed eventually.
Wouldn't recommend dumping gold on gamble vendor, it's nice to have gold for vendor purchases and respecs, and eventually instant trade too
Gotcha
Farming dreadnought vanguard is typical, since the zone can drop lots of goodies such as lvl 9 skill gem
If you are -5/+5 to the zone that's fine, but being higher than the zone isn't considered normal
Progress until you hit a wall then farm. Farming strictly for boots does kinda defeat the purpose of wanting more speed in the first place 😅
So zone level does determine the level of items that can drop. Higher level items can roll better stats, but it isn't guaranteed, and ultimately the stats on the item are what matters. And item level is also separate from required level so make sure you're looking at the right ones. I guess my question is why are you keeping the lower level boots? What are their benefits?
Incoming boots with 19 evasion and 6 fire res
It's pretty much something like that lmao
I'll also be looking into some equipment guides then. Mostly what stats i should look for in each slot
Pick up all boots and identify them. And don't be afraid to buy item bases from vendors ans hit them with transmute/augment orbs.
It's pretty straightforward for basically the whole campaign. Max life, resistances, movement speed on boots if you can get it, don't be afraid to spend the basic currency types and don't save runes for special occasions. Later on you worry more about specific defense types on gear like evasion or armor and other defensive layers like block. But life and resists are the minimum requirements.
I'd also be interested in finding out what skills you're using and how you chain them together.
Currently its ice strike + bell.
But after some reading I'm thinking about starting over
I feel like rolling a new class as a new player has a number of upsides, the main two being
- High exposure to new skills (even though many skills don't unlock until level 31, 41, or 52, you can get a taste for the themes those skills try to convey
- Starting to build on your foundational knowledge of the game. Things you saw on this character might appear again, things like how do I get more gold, what vendors should I check, what currencies are good to keep on me while running through zones, etc
Worst case you "waste" a couple hours and can easily go back to your monk knowing you gave something else a shot.
you dont need equipment guides, you need trading guides, the mods are just life, resistances, flat damage, melee skills, maybe attack speed
if you have monk and are fine with playing attacking buulds just keep leveling that character, invoker is great imo
you dont need to replay any acts
yes 👍
People in acts 1-3 still don't have instant trading, we SHOULD be giving "equipment guides" to them imo. Manual trades for campaign gear this late in the league... I mean I've sold stuff before but I would never rely on buying anything until act 4
In this case they needed a boot upgrade so the correct advice should be "check vendors, identify boots that you find (es/armour/evasion doesn't matter), use transmutes/augments if you've built up a small supply"
good point, when I come home I will test non instant trading
not being able to trade makes campaign way harder though
I don't think anyone would disagree 😅
Group play comes to mind as well, since it's just trade without the extra hassle.
The goat is beginning to post his runs again, very very solid videos for anyone curious. It's not a muted vod he actually talks and walks you through certain things
Knowing what to look for and how to use the tools available is really important in my opinion and trading away gear problems hurts the new player learning experience.
Weapon specialization allows you to allocate some passive points twice. Then you swap between weapons to use one of the two specs.
It's not much relevant in early campaign but it's definitely useful.
hmm.. ok not sure about how it works but ok
It still costs a skill point but lets you spend that point in two locations, one per weapon set. You can assign skills to specific weapon sets. When you use those skills it will automatically swap to the correct weapon set and any points assigned specifically to it. So for example I did a quarterstaff with points assigned to things that helped freeze enemies. Then in my other set, a crossbow with passives that were beneficial to the crossbow damage. So I was using wave of frost to freeze and fragmentation rounds to shatter/explode.
With filterblade is there a way to start with a completely blank filter?
increased stun buildup makes you stun enemies faster?
Yes. You fill their stun meter faster.
is it normal, that you can't play, because ping goes crazy?
try a different gateway
I was playing without problems like for two hours, then switched char so I could use currency exchange and went back and character was freezing in movement. I tried switching gateway and setting network to predictive, but went even worse. Not sure if it's only problem for this part of day and later it will be ok.
Is there a way to redo/change the rewards of the Halls of the Dead tests in Act 4?
not at this time
can sb help me fight a boss in act 4
aint a soul in there
Most people are waiting for the new league at this point.
is this bug? i killed him already but i die also
after respawn i can't progress, just see him then he disapear?
He appear for few second then gone
might have to redo the fight
How to best farm support gems?
you do the main quest line and get the permanent act rewards in the campaign, then buy supports in the currency exchange
What's that
leagues are like seasons
How blank? Cause you can literally load a blank notepad. Last league i spent a bunch of time writing a custom filter. Essentially started it from nothing, just used the pattern/format as a guide. Made the items, colors, font, size, etc all custom design
Is defence or resistance more important in campaign?
Life and resists.
Leagues introduce a new mechanic and a fresh economy. The next one will be on the 29th and will be version 0.5 of POE2, which is supposed to include a bunch of new stuff and reworked mechanics in addition to whatever the new league mechanic might be. They may also add a new class.
So like battle pass of fortnite
thanks for the info
Not really, since battle passes are paid and have cosmetics. Leagues are free and include huge chunks of new content that are often permanently added to the game.
All new gameplay content in POE1/2 is always free. Think of leagues as more like expansions.
Then you should go to the poe1 channel.
And if you're having trouble with act 4 bosses in POE1 thats a build issue.
wow
The current league in POE1 has a couple more months.
random fact u shared haha, it seems that is a common issue for poe1 players
i use ground slam, i heard rumors poe2 does not have this
AI Overview Yes, Path of Exile 2 features Ground Slam, which is a prominent Melee/Slam skill designed for two-handed maces and axes, often used by the Warrior archetype to create aftershocks. It is a high-impact, area-of-effect skill that serves as a cornerstone for slow, heavy-hitting melee builds. This video demonstrates the Ground Slam skill in action in Path of Exile 2:
No. Its its own thing.
AI Overview While Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) was originally announced in 2019 as a massive expansion (version 4.0) that would share an endgame with Path of Exile 1 (PoE1), the project evolved significantly. As of 2026, PoE2 is considered a separate, standalone game rather than merely an expansion, according to Path of Exile developer statements.
very interesting
it is crazy the game was released in 2019
time flies by so FAST
i remember poe2 release like 2 yrs ago
i feel so sad coz time pass by this fast man
Poe2 was announced in 2019.
ah so my feeling was right when i said 2 yrs ago
Anyway if you need help with poe1 go to #1┃new-player-in-campaign-help and if you're having trouble we can look at your build.
Resisting the urge to complain about usage of AI overview
If the AI overview doesnt mention people using ground slam until level 12 and then switching to Sunder until early mapping, what's it good for 😅
That's like 90% of ground slam usage surely, if not more. Just getting to Sunder
when is the next new class coming out?
Probably duelist 29th of May
If they do swords without duelist, or a single chaos sword without the rest of the swords + duelist I'd be a little surprised
(I say chaos sword because this was shown yesterday in a teaser)
We're hoping the new league but we won't know for sure until Thursday with the reveal stream.
ty all
why would they add a unique variant of a weapon without even adding the actual base weapon
i get thats your arguement, but if the chaos sword is coming i dont think there is any chance that swords themselves wont
It happened in destiny with swords
Edit: nvm there were legendary and unique versions
But yes
after respecing a character to follow a guide, dps went from 400 to 1500. tl;dr follow build guildes if you're new like me 😁
im not sure how to word this but im trying to figure out where i wanna settle myself with arpgs and like
where does 2 sit in the "comparisons"? like, vs 1 or LE, or maybe some other arpg that's out and popular
cause i love the zoom that poe1 can get but i get so lost in the sauce and poe1 crafting is so pain
i've also had Concerns when it comes to "feel" in poe1 and tldr the effects in poe1 kinda don't hit that good sometimes
POE2 has better visuals and more crunchy combat overall, with a greater focus on skill combos than 1 (at least during the campaign) but is incomplete and needs time to mature. It is more approachable than POE1 but I woud still consider LE to be more casual and forgiving.
And we're getting details on 0.5 on Thursday which is supposed to overhaul and add a bunch of stuff.
Depends how you see it cause you dont get your items and gold from your chest converted
Wait so id lose everything in my chest?
A hardcore character can be migrated to the equivalent softcore league after death
so there's not really any major opportunity cost to starting hardcore if you want to try it
oh but yes as Slug said, you would lose the stuff not on your character
Life is already hardcore and PvP. Games should be easier than that
Is there anyone Turkish here?
Is there a written leveling build for a tank that blocks a lot, do thorns damage and uses a few support auras for my buddies?
it's not deleted, but you can't access it anymore with the character (because that character and your hc stash would be in different leagues)
Does that imply that hardcore has different loot or something?
Whats the point of that
it doesn't have different loot in any wya
it's just an optional additional challenge
there's a lot of players that only play hardcore
the economy will be different tho
All you have to do is log into a new HC character, grab shit from stash, and die 😅
You don't keep your gold but if we are talking about a campaign death all you do is keep playing in softcore with 0 gold at viper or monkey or whatever killed you
Sell some loot to Oswald kappa
sounds like i should wait a couple days before i hop in (also sorry for late response i have the server muted and am in a wide range of servers)
there any builds that get zippy and quick or are most things paced about the same
Most builds speed up drastically as you progress.
sounds good to me... i'll need to look at builds then
in anticipation of 0.5 being thursday?
It's being revealed Thursday. Launching the 29th.
oh
And a lot of stuff is likely to change.
should i delay buying and playing in anticipation of the change or is it fine to get a little gaming in
like- will the changes be massive or...
Pro tip: time your decision based on stash tab weekend sales every three weeks on the dot
Is that a hot take
If off-season
Spear to poke with spear and the barb support gem iirc
Friend runs one a league I try to pay attention
Hmm, dont like the look of it. Is there a version with sceptre or mace?
I mean the core game won't change, but there is a real possibility of heavy rebalances and new stuff getting added. Plus everyone will start fresh with the new league. So up to you if you want to get some practice in.
I wanted auras to buff my party
Stash tab sale is next Friday btw, so maybe do a little digging before then and see if you get excited to play? Stash tabs are not necessary but around 20 to 40 hours you'll start really wanting to get them set up
I didn't buy all my stash tabs at once when I first started playing, it took a league or two
i already have a fair few stash tabs from my time in poe1
don't those carry over
Some
the quads and premiums, and maybe currency should, right?
all tabs that are applicable will carry over
so like, blight tab won't since there's no blight in 2
That's a unique situation and it sounds like you've answered it for yourself. Have you happened to check Poeninja and put in a few core pieces you want to run? Could be a combination of gear and passives
Like minions or other players? Support playstyle isn't really a thing since it isn't an MMO. Not without a lot of currency.
Yes, but most of them are just endgame builds or really outdated
% ally damage, then some crit or attack/cast speed feels amazing for budget aura bot simulator
Other friends, the peoole frm my clan. Like can I give them armor or regen?
Banners
The one i play the most with is a wyvern druid and I wanted to be a tank for her and let her dps
Or would be better to go toxic arrow and dps with her? Nobody could tank tho
I'll have to ask for his ninja but a buddy played bannerbot for me in HC private league, super fun. Main gameplay he wanted was resonating shield perma block/aggro, drop banners in-between
Nobody needs to tank. Again, not an MMO. Everyone can provide their own damage and survivability.
Poe players will tell you to both deal your own damage and this makes sense, you might need to progress your own atlas or take out a pinnacle boss
If YOU want to play a damage-less tank, fuckin do it
it's going off the rails so to speak, is that fair?
Did this mean you are in campaign?
Like, you absolutely can provide support to team mates, but its not like you need dedicated tank or anything like that. I played wolf and my wife did druid and we both did damage and had methods of recovery/defense.
It's nice to at least avoid removing each other's curses LOL took a while for my friend and I to realize that
where's the best place to go for checkin on builds
maxroll, mobalytics, reputable youtubers/streamers
sounds about right
at least it's about the same places
i still don't even know who i'd play...
i need to think on that
going with a theme always works
i mean, i'd like to get flicker off the ground if possible, but idk if flicker is better or worse here and even then i feel like i still need something to get used to poe2 gameplay as a whole
Can't play crossbows in poe1, could start there
tempting esp with the wasd movement but i mean
idk! i'll look into it
i might just look at a bunch of skills. i know im not slams but i do wanna shop around
i also know that weapon swapping is supposed to be important
so if that's the case i'd definitely like to mess around with weaving
that's a vaal temple from this league's mechanic
hi, when looking at the market, items have negotiable price. Is there a good way to get in touch with the player
or how does negotiation work? Can i place offer trough market, or do i need to contact player directly?
you'd need to contact the player
sorry if this is super obvious, but next to the item i get #SSSS1234 next to player. When i try to whisper to this, there seems to noone by that name
actually the name contains unalowed symbol
I'm not sure why that is tbh. and I don't think anyone actually negotiates price
unless it's like a very expensive item
its expensive for me 40ex
but really cheap compared to really high end items
huh
couple things i should ask:
- is this game easier to kinda freestyle a build together? obviously it's easier than poe1 but how does it compare to a game like LE where you can actually just slap stuff together and make it work
- is ex the main currency? poe1 uses c so it was a touch jarring hearing things in terms of ex
- what exactly defines a build? is it the weapons? ascendancy? particular groups of skill gems?
You can't slap random stuff together. There needs to be some kind of synergy at play and ways of scaling damage. Ex is the main leveling currency and divine orbs are used later along with chaos sometimes. Builds usually focus on a main skill or gimmick and an ascendancy that enables it.
You can get 40 ex just in the campaign.
i need to figure out what kinds of gimmicks i can build around then. do people actually weapon swap frequently or is that not really the case?
because i do like the idea of weaving a bunch of stuff together
Depends on the build and what you're doing with it.
Some builds use no swapping. Some rely on it.
Combining weapon swapping is only useful if you're finding those synergies.
Like I did a freezing/shattering staff/crossbow setup.
There are passive nodes for the Druid that benefit swapping forms and that could be used with weapon swapping.
There are things like armor break on one of the warrior ascendancies that is useful for all manner of builds.
i think what this means for me is i need to look at the different skill gems that exist and try to see if there's any that seem interesting
i already know i'm not much of a fan of slams
something fast and responsive where i have decent control the full way through...
Then spears or quarterstaff skills for melee. But class also matters. The huntress has ascendancies that benefit tons of different builds. You could totally do melee on the Mercenary's witch hunter ascendancy.
There was a warrior build that used crossbows and armor break to cause explosions.
it is. very hard to tell what the different weapons "want"
but yeah spear and qstaff look good
i might give elemental or primal spells a whirl sometime down the line
If you are struggling with basic currency and stuff, just DM me. I'll try and help out with whatever I can.
Odd, I don't remember it being that heavy
i didn't either but hey this is the install size i saw
maybe it'll be more optimized as time goes on who knows
If we see the track record of GGG's optimization, that is not going to happen lol
Anybody knowledgable in Lightning Spear Amazon?
Can't seem to find a guide on it. Only some outdated ones and a fake one
I was wondering if I should actually go empty offhand or if I should use a sceptre
Skill speed is not going to be worth losing an offhand, I would not run that keystone unless you are running whirling slash with skysliver in weapon set 2
Spears have to fight right now to do as much damage as other martial weapons, as a consequence of their dominance in the 0.2 meta. I'm sure there are guides for this league if you look hard enough but it makes sense not many guides were created for this league specifically
Sacred flame is a solid pick, especially if people are still using it with Trinity (something like bone cage in CoC would gain damage as extra fire and help balance Trinity)
I just got into maps, dmg seems ok... I have a sceptre that gives me lvl 4 minions. I know is low but the tanking helps. Should I swap it for Sacred Flame? I do mainly Lightning damage, so idk if fire would do anything
https://youtu.be/KphZjyYadHE?si=hCk97Tdam5mIGoRO
Tuadh is probably going to do another huntress test soon, I've seen ppl ask in his comments a lot recently. Here's his run from Nov 26 if you want to compare his early mappin to yours

Check Out Arkheron here! https://lurk.ly/aOrmzX
Lightning spear used to be the best skill in the game. Then, the nerf-hammer struck. But now it's finally back, and it's better than ever before.

But he's playing SSF you are presumably not
That looks sick, but is a Druid, I am an Amazon
What does that mean? That i should not go empty offhand? I am on normal league, not SSF
You're right, just run the standard rare ES helmet/ES body armour/ES boots and put Essentia Sanguis on
Hybrid evasion/es should be fine until you can afford to wear spiffy pure es gear and start leeching
he cannot purchase the items that are good for lightning spear, so yes you should not go empty handed
He shows how to get to maps and into endgame in a minimalist/leaguestart fashion, they are meant to be a skeleton to build off of
Why ES? He uses 1 piece with very little ES adn in the passive tree no ES really shows up
I have Essentia Sanguis on, but with little ES he has, I doubt I get much off of it. Is pure Evasion not good?
I saw this other guide people are calling fake https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waMb6QhJdeo&t=164s

Is it tho? Or would that be solid?
Avoid that channel at all costs lol it's just RMT advertisement and stealing builds
Do you know about Poeninja? This would save us a lot of time
You just click Amazon and you'll see all the top ppl with chaos innoculation
Manually force their level to be lower and you'll find hybrid setups
Just to reiterate what clan said, Kaid is a rather infamous content farm. Their builds are not good (and I am very gracious about criticizing build makers) and they're mostly click bait. If you're trying to improve at the game please don't rely on their videos.
Here are 600 Amazon's with sacred flame + rare spear + lightning spear
As you can see, crit nodes are the most widely used and then you have a mishmash of ev/es/movespeed to fill in your points.
Yeah, I figured as much, that's why I didn't follow it due to the comments, but just wanted to be sure
Screw the passive tree just get an amulet like this guy https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaal/character/spfldpics3-6953/Scammazonian?i=46&search=class%3DAmazon%26skills%3DLightning%2BSpear%26items%3DSacred%2BFlame%252CRare%2BSpear%26heatmap%3Dtrue
% global, % es from body, % total es lmao
yeah, I know about poeninja, but they all seem just so vastly different from the Tadh Amazon, which plays like I wanted it to play. So I was trying to make that work

If you want help, link your build. If you want to roll your own way then keep doing that
What is so great about that amulet? (also, why is he using a Talisman?)
how do I link my build?
Again, tuadh is playing without trade, anything he's doing has got to be weaker than your typical Poeninja pool of 3-5 players... Even if all you do is buy a solid akoyan spear
Use poeninja
It's a very tanky amulet, I mentioned in the message that it has three different mods that are solid for es
Couldn't find a similar one in the market
I am having trouble doing so, can't seem to find a button to upload anything
Think I did it
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
I know that build is trash as it is, that's because I wanna know where to go before blindly spending my currency on crafting or buying. There are some things I do not get, like the ES thing, but also... Why it seems that most people go for Phys dmg instead of Elemental or Lightning dmg when is a Lightning Spear build. What am I missing?
-
There are upgrades available for 1ex, but you have to actually look
-
Tldr your weapon's prefixes should be one of two things: combination of physical damage mods such that you have a big physical stick, OR a combination of TWO elemental damage rolls AND the mod "increased elemental damage with attacks"
Like my guy 😩
So the "Adds # to # lightning damage" does nothing on its own
Check that link
The damage to attacks on rings is WONDERFUL for spears
It's the same as if it were on your weapon
Why is that? Is only to spears that works that way? is it a bug or is this normal, because I had no idea
One-Handed weapon means one-handed mods, it's not a bug. You are attacking stuff, it makes sense "add X to attacks" works
Someone with a 500-1000 physical damage weapon doesn't need those flat rolls on rings for example
I am a bit confused, so that damage to attacks would not work on bows or greatclubs?
If you are attacking, any "adds damage to attacks" works
So, let me get this straight... I have to
- Go into ES instead of EV
- Get "add X to attacks" mods on spear and rings
- Get Sacred Flame and Essentia Sanguis
.
Yes in general
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Fate of the Vaal/lg44WOarfV here's an example spear you could buy for 5ex and probably 2-3x your damage
Sorry again, this confuses me a little... I can wear ES helmet, ES Body, ES Boots and Essentia Sanguis... Or should I use Essentia Sanguis only on Hynrid?
Also what rune do I want in this weapon? Lightning or Physical?
You run Essentia with pure es
Ah ok, I'll stash it for now then
It's just math, and my phone is getting too physically hot to switch back and forth between Google, calculator, and discord
It's too much min maxing for now. Just throw something in and have fun
Sorry, I just do not understand the math behind it, as I understand phys damage should do nothing if I use Lightning Spear, but it's too confusing how that works
Thanks again for all the replies
Lightning spear is a skill with a % damage effectiveness that increases with skill level, and it converts physical damage to lightning

What level are enemies in the temple? They always seem way overpowered and the bosses are brutal.
Level shows in your info, it depends on your level. They are also affected by monster effectivenes, which adds a lot of life.
you have a lot of base phys damage, it gets converted to lightning damage, so both phys and lightning base damafe are great for you
also, yeah, get 10k ES ideally, with essentia
@noble tusk thank you, I shouldve known that by now.
Ill never figure out this temple stuff. Watched a few vids but nothing sticking. Just messing around in new HC char in clearfell doing a few temple runs.
From what I see you're supposed to just build a square on the outside.
When is new season reveal again ?
I think end of may
End of may is release
Nvm found it thanks anyway
Already came out, shadow looks awesome
Idk about the delve as an alternative to the campaign though
reveal is tmrw
What you do with your temple is up to you. You can focus on building a certain snake and go for perfection, or you can focus on building whatever the longest chain is that you can sustain.
Building temple with only 6 crystal capacity and 3 medallion slots seems miserable, since all characters in the same league share their crystals and medallion unlocks, it's most common to get through campaign normally, THEN focus on rushing architect in order to upgrade your capacities.
Once you've got ~30 out of the 60 crystal capacity you can start saving up temple runs to do back to back, and hopefully you'd find enough medallion slots along the way such that you have 6 total to use 👍
My long-term temple plan for HC was "safe" XP and a side bonus of good loot. My main chain was typical spymaster spam, with the aim being to earn "lock medallions" which are crucial to keeping your temple from destabilizing in a bad way. My second chain was my XP chain, spamming synthflesh labs mostly with whatever else in-between. Towards the end I made a third chain purely of garrison/commander. This juiced up my effectiveness and made temple harder but more rewarding
I never had more than 55 rooms placed out of the ~80 total and yet I saw more currency and XP than I ever would have in maps. Could it be better? Of course, but chasing perfection in temple can be disheartening when you realize room card RNG dictates a lot of your fun 😅
@opaque iron oh I didnt know i could save runs, ive been grinding in clearfell just to upgrade my gear, but they stopped appearing.
I suspect if you are 10+ over the area level it won't spawn. I still have no idea why sometimes I can place rooms and other timrs i cant.
But ill follow through on campaign then for now.
Thank you.
I dont understand chains at all, this is all way over my head lol. But I do have a bunch of different style of rooms placed for now anyways.
Ideally, you want a long string or snake. You don't want multiple passages. So people call it a chain or snake. You can make 2 or 3 different snakes, don't make the rooms a grid. It makes more sense if you see a built up one
This is assuming you want to build up a lot of rooms. Otherwise, just place however you want if you don't care
I tried to do that, but then when it wouldnt let me place the rooms I got impatient, im my own worst enemy.
May have to wait until later until I can delete rooms.
Hold alt on placed rooms and you can see what they do/attach to
Or just use sulo tool like everyone else, they really need to make the quality of life better in-game if they want to stick to their "you want have to alt tab!" nonsense
Just about to head in now , im on xbox but ill see if I can figure that out
Enjoy campaign! The temples in the campaign zones will have "scripted" drops, like a lesser jewelers orb in buried shrines/lost city act 2
And yeah 10 levels is the ggg limit for overleveling so you'll catch up by then
Thats what I have, almost got to that guy that can change it around I think, cant seem to build on the left side at all
Up there by temple console do you see the information button, took me ~2 months to notice but it would probably save you some time by reading it once over!
Something to remember, after you face the architect you will be presented with the option of placing special rooms. Later you'll want to avoid putting these down as you can block your own room placement, but for campaign I think they can be a great source of random stuff, potentially helpful to your build!
And if you're still in act 1 that's definitely the most built temple I've seen 😅
Don't be sad when it all crumbles after defeating the architects, that's normal (in fact it highlights one of the reasons a single snake is the most efficient long-term strategy: you only have to protect the head of the snake and the rest will be safe)
Oh I see the info button now yes
Im in act 1 mansion. Did 3 temple run in clearfell just messing around
Cant use stash while in temple huh?
Just portal
Not during campaign, you have to go to that annex room, has access to your stash
Oh forgor
Which means I dont think I can get back in, shoot. Hate deciding what to take lol
Carrying scrolls of wisdom right?
Can even bring basic crafting mats, many people including myself do
I do, I like bringing augment orbs too
Don't worry too much about lost loot, you'll get upgrades
You know im ashamed to say I never did act 4 yet, still 4 acts ? Or 5 now?
4 proper acts, plus three interlude acts which bridge the gap between campaign and endgame (so you no longer have to repeat any content)
it honestly feels like a cohesive story as-is, the interludes are just shorter and a bit less narrative than the normal acts.
Oh theres no cruel now? Geez how did I miss that.
Well, HC player, so... Skill issue 😅
Oh you CAN go back in !! Just did
Good to know
Yeah, just takes a couple portals
I prefer opening temple by using that annex room, I try to avoid opening in campaign map
Makes dumping gear easier and faster
You said annex room is post? Or is that a hideout thing ?
Yeah, like your hideout. There's another room for the temple
I forget what they call it
Brought the $500 CAD version of this and still havent used a custom hideout 😅.
I think theres 2 that came with that
Vaal ruins
Dang, really?? Which 2 did you get? I have seen some really amazing looking hideouts. I think the concept of having Hideouts as a cosmetic is great, though it would be nice if they weren't so expensive lol.
I cant remmeber what they were called now, may have only been one.
Just felt compelled to get the max supporter pack lol
there are free hideout too
Yeah there's a number of free hideouts to find when you reach the endgame. I think you have to discover them before using them?
hi man, thanks. Its ok. I was just thinking how the negotiating mechanic works and if there is a system for that in game
No problem. If at any time during this league you need a bit help or a boost, feel free to message me.
I am following a guide for a smith build and it has evasion converted to armour. Is the converted evasion boost by increased armour buffs? Also does the body armour matter if it its evasion or pure armour? Evasion or hybrid armours have some implicit boosts
thanks
I am in kingsmarch now
Also is there difference in reaching 90% fire res and other elements by investing ascension potions, or it's useless for Smith and armour mods are better?
It doesn't seem to be easy to get 90% max res in fire
Any reason you are trying to push to 90%?? generally, as a 'armour' defense user, you can max resistances to 75% and look for mods 'armour applies to elemental damage'.
something like this
yes, I know, just no idea how is it effective
Looks like smith doesn't need 90%, it's very tanky anyway, but have no idea what will be it like at endgame
sorry, I am new to smith, played couple other builds, but here I am clueless
just the ascendacy for 90% was something to think about
I honestly don't know much about Smith ascendancy either. TBH, in campaign elemental resistances beyond 50% aren't all that critical (for the characters I have played with)... it's endgame where 75% resistance is a must.
Havent played in awhile, first time doing lightless passage, whats a unrevealed undesecrated item?
Wouldnt let me click to see what that meanz
Not sure what you need to click but just fully talk to sin and the other NPC at the end of the zone
An unrevealed and undesecrated item is just... Any item that doesn't have a green line.
If you desecrate something it adds or changes a mod to the strange unrevealed symbols. Then you take the item to the well and you can reveal a mod
This temple is getting brutal now, im nervous. Wish you didnt get so much exp in here.
This might be my last trip until I get better upgrades.
Fighting 2 bosses at once now and they take forever
Sounds about right
Im starting to see the max rooms in the temple now. As I add more, previous stuff gets deleted.
I thought you were supposed to get skill points when you first do sehkmas
I have a question - Azmadi the Faridun prince is a self proclaimed prince:) How can you self proclaim that you are a prince? Isn´t prince a title you get because you are born to a king?:)
jamanra was the faridun king. idk if they're related tho
He just calls himself a prince because he does not have his throne yet. But its said multiple times that those are just false titles, delusions of grandeur. Not an actual monarchy he stems from
no, you get ascendency points.
I bought path of exile 2 on Playstation and i didn't get the early access, contacted support they didn't help.
I'll just wait for the game to release then 🗣️ 🔥
@little iron found them, was in wrong section. Wasn't in the tree, but the screen where you pick
only got 20~ hours in the game, not played since the druid came out, is it worth starting to play again or should I wait until return of the ancients?
also, as its a new league, what are the downsides of not crating a new characteR?
well we got 3 weeks left until the new league, you can always just play now and not get attached to anything you make. Learning the game now will make you get to the same point a lot faster once the new league starts.
Its always recommended to start a new character with the new league, as the specific league content is not aviable in standard and engaging with trade is a lot harder, since you dont have the same ammount of currency other people have in standard. Theres also just a lot less people to engage with in standard.
thats exactly what i needed to know thank you, really enjoyed it last time just didnt understand it, do you have any recomendations for off meta builds that are cool, hate followng the meta
I could recommend a bunch of stuff to you, but honestly, i would recommend just going into the game and testing any skills out that just seem interesting to you. You dont really need to follow anything meta to clear the whole game
imo not knowing what is meta makes the game 10x more enjoyable
played a poison ranger last time and found it quite fun, no clue if it was meta but just checked there and witches can have minions so thats the route im going
ty cooleen!
if minions are interesting to you, go ahead. Lots of options you can find out and try to see what works for you. But i do have one tip for you that you will learn eventually: No class is forced into a playstyle, you can use bows on a witch, minions on a warrior and spells on a ranger. Often times, the recommended "class" for a playstyle isnt even the best to use it with for a certain skill you enjoy
ok ok ty, will investigate further
its best to look at the ascendencies and think about what the stats it provides will do for the skill/combo you want to play
what is a good run-time to finish the acts?
At the moment most speed runners are spending an hour or less in each act or interlude.
As a fresh player you could spend upwards of 20-40 hours depending on how much reading you do 😅
Do you play "leveling"-specs especially for acts and then change into something else later? If speed runners need 6h, having an average of 8h would not be bad, but thats still long in my opinion. How does one get to a leveling time under 8h, with out extensive practice of the acts?
most racers are playing either grenades, shield wall, or essence drain/contagion/bonestorm
most players have a preference for using leveling builds and respeccing, or forcing something from the start. but what happens when you choose a skill that unlocks later in the campaign? there is a ton of variability here and you will have to spend time discovering a lot of it yourself, poe is awesome in that regard
knowing what skills you are using, what supports to run, good spirit gems, pathing through your tree, gear to look out for, etc takes up a MAJORITY of the leveling process. choosing a SPECIFIC build, knowing layouts, and other stuff can come later
I'm in act one at the moment and trying to farm the executioner, but I keep dying and im finding playing druid with the werewolf shapeshift harder than with just a staff with lightning bolt on it i was using earlier, i kinda wanna know how i can tell if im doing something wrong or if its just a skill issue
Hello
damn bro was holding out, although is that even a unique that they're adding
It can be a number of things... Knowing boss moves, keeping your flasks updated, checking for elemental resistances if applicable to the boss (fire for executioner), grabbing some armour on gear (good to do in campaign on any class)
You can do all of that without changing builds, but if you find yourself having an easier time using a certain set of skills and passives then by all means keep doing so (or keep trying new things)
Without sending a link to your character it's hard to help on a more micro level, but you should be checking vendors in town frequently, they add and remove some items at each of your levelups
ah thanks, I did just go through all my stuff and some of it was outdated so I'll try it again
I am trying to figure out how to share my character but im not sure how to do that
To link your profile, log in to the website and follow these steps:
-
On the https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/privacy page, click the boxes so that your profile and characters tab are not hidden or private. (Both should be empty.) Then click on Update.
-
Then, on the https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account page, click on "Characters"
-
Then, copy paste the current URL at the top of your browser window, and paste it here.
-
(Alternative) If you would like to show a specific character that isn't the one you logged in as most recently; edit the URL according to the following format:
https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Your Profile/characters?realm=ONE of (pc|sony|xbox)&characterName=Your Character and then paste it here.
I prefer Poeninja website to what the discord is recommending
that doesnt seem relevant to poe2 im not sure
i will search up that website thank you
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
this is it i think
Nice, ok for one I'm on mobile and about to leave the house so I will chip in when I can but you can start by using two artificer orbs on your weapon and then socketing some augments in that bad boy. Go for flat damage of some kind, shouldn't really matter
oh i see thats very helpful thank you!!
If you find rings and gloves with "adds X damage to attacks" it's as if you were equipping a better weapon
You should start seeing 1-20 lightning damage or 5-8 fire damage, etc. very strong at this level
Otherwise go for max life and resistances, attributes if you need them
That tree is rough. You shouldn't be taking every path out of the start. You want to minimize the number of small passives you take and always be working towards the medium sized ones, called notables as long as they're beneficial to your build.
yeah I just sorta went for stuff randomly, i realised too late that i shouldnt be doing that
You can refund nodes for gold at the hooded one.
i did that thank you :)
wassup everyone, so I am pretty excited from the trailer and can't wait to get back to it, I skipped 0.4 because of other stuff and I was thinking about playing through the campaign at least to prepare for release, what's a good recommendation of a quick and easy build to progress? the goal is just to refresh how the campaign is, I don't really care about endgame or the class itself, any will work as long as I don't have to work too much to make it work during campaign. thanks
We are not sure yet. The patchnotes arent out yet so its hard to recommend something :D
i gonna try poe2 for the first time, what is a good build for first timer?
I was referring to a current run on 0.4, just prepping the campaign run to make it quick and smooth on launch weekend, any ideas?
Check maxroll for 0.4 league starters.
Crossbow - grenades or frag/frost combo
Bow - lightning package, cold package, poison package
Qstaff - ice strike + bell as usual, more skills unlock later such as Whirling Assault
Mace - rolling slam + boneshatter into shield wall, or leap slam boneshatter whole way
Wands/staves - plant package comes online hard at the end of act 1 when you get the wildsurge keystone, EDC + bonestorm otherwise, or infused spark (lot of spells can be used in campaign but would require tiny bit more effort than EDC and plants)
Spear - avoid for now
Sceptre - skeletal sniper gas command is insane single target, solve clear with flamewall/SRS or contagion/unearth or something
Did I miss anything
Is shapeshiftinfg druid a good leveling build
I got bear form but fill like they are drilling my health
Im confused what should I use for druid for skill im level 6 i got bear getting my but burned up got entangles doing little to nothing
Well no matter what skills you're using, you need life and resistances on gear. Entangle is a spell and the bear skills are all/mostly attacks so they scale totally differently.
what class is the strongest at the moment?
there isnt really a best class
i saw some stuffs talking bout like druid and ranger
your class is just one piece of a build
are they good?
huh
class on its own doesnt mean anything
If you have a decent build yes.
yea you can do the same build on any class to varying levels of success
Any class can use any item and most skills.
each class has something different it can do for a build
So its about combining class, subclass, skills, gear to come up with solid combinations.
thanks yall
Maxroll and mobalytics has a bunch of new player friendly builds (look for ones labeled league starters) if you want to use them for reference.
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/9vnu00bd i liked this one, works at the new league?
Like the upcoming 0.5? We have no idea because we don't know what's changing. It might be exactly the same, might not.
Its for the current league.
okk
Current league has a couple more weeks if you want to just play and experiment.
is there any good overlay or tools to make the campaign easier? i spend too long on it
There may be a campaign guide somewhere on the wiki perhaps, but increasing campaign speed usually comes down to experience and knowledge. And with 0.5 they're adding some indicators as to where you can/need to go in most areas.
Whats the best beginner friendly class right now
pick whatever class sounds fun
I really should have them make a bot command for that
How is witch right now i tried druid and druid feels like a class i need plau after I learn the game
They’re all good. It just depends on what skill(s) you want to use overall
well any other class is just going to feel the same, none of the classes will handhold you
youre only going to learn the game by picking something and just going for it, youll figure some things out as you go
and can just ask here or check wiki for things that sound more complicated
Did you see what I said about life and resistances and attacks vs spells?
I havent let me see
Yeah i see now I think
Hey lvl 19 new player here. Is there anyway to make rake not suck on huntress? I feel like it does no damage compared to my lightning spear and explosive but I want some variety
Well you would want different stats for rake. Bleed scales off physical damage so you'd want a weapon with a lot of phys, and you'd want to invest in making bleeds stronger through the passive tree and support gems.
I’ll give it a shot thanks
Ultimately you're going to have to use weapon swapping or just focus more. Throwing a bunch of skills together that scale damage differently ends up making all of them weak.
you mean weapons, not classes, essence drain lich is really easy to play, lightning arrow deadeye as well
use currency exchange in act 4
then just progress to act 4, you should have everything you need
If I would have everything I wouldn’t ask lol
Well asking here is against server rules
Stupid
Rule 6. No trading, begging, asking for 'loans', giveaways, tips for services, etc for any game. See #trading for alternatives.
Can someone give me a hand? I bought POE2 back in Dec 2024. But I have hardly played it since like Jan 2025. I have come back and I just can't get past one map. Still in campaign, never made end game. I got put off by the difficulty. I've tried this one level like 20 times and just keep dying. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
It's just frustrating and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I am located in E Europe (Balkans) if that helps with time zones.
What area?
Ground loot, vendors, and crafting currencies should be all you need basically for the whole campaign.
Appropriate gear helps for campaign, killing things fast before you die
Act 4, a forest that requires me to complete the Vaal. I'll take a look for you.
I realise the challenge is the vaal beast I need to defeat.
What build and how are your life and resistances?
I forget the name, Spark ranger?
Calling down the lightning rods, and shooting the lightning arrow at them.
It was the top leveling build a while ago. Maxroll guide.
Fubgun I think.
Life is 1.3k, Rez are 75 Fire, 60 Cold, 40 Lightning
Definitely want to get that lightning res up when you can. Are you dying or not doing enoigh damage?
Dose frozen spite scale with cold + projectile damage?
It should but switch to the ice fragments tab on the gem.
So can you earn any decent cosmetics by just playing or does all the base game armor look terrible like in poe1?
The base armor sets look much better, and cosmetics that were purchased for POE1 are being ported over in batches. Any new cosmetics have so far also been shared between both games, like the free armor sets from league challenges. 0.5 is adding challenges for the first time in POE2.
@trim turret I switched to PC years back so ive lost everything I had in poe........
Not happy about that
Coming from Playstation? That was Sony's decision.
Ugh its sooo annoying that parry dosent work against this certain attack the boss dose
Is there any way to make parry better ie buy not having the stun bar build up so fast
Yes, there are passives that slow the buildup of the stun bar. Support gems too I think.
@trim turret I wonder if GGG would hook me up with some tabs since I lost everything from switching
No.
you can ask support but I doubt it
can I ask a question, i have just completed act 1 for the second time, the build guide im following says to pivot a completely different way in act two, how soon should I focus on changing my build to this, do I need to trade for the items or just start to use them as they drop?
it all depends on how strong your build is and how accessable non instant trading is, try buying items if you want, but you can finish campaign without trading
Answer is highly dependent on your specific needs... It's quite common to name a tab in your stash and begin placing items in there in preparation of the respec
You can even cut the skill/support/spirit gems that you'll need and line them up in the proper "order"
- Figure out how much gold you will need to respec your tree in the most efficient way
- Make sure you have a weapon ready, a good weapon will make a build feel good or bad almost entirely on its own
- Prepare skill, support, and spirit gems. Gem quality is something you shouldn't need in campaign so ur good there
- I can't think of any builds that require hard gear swaps, but I guess if there are any uniques you can use you should be ready for the loss of stats from rare gear. In campaign it's okay to stay above 0% resistances while putting as much Life on as you can, but having at least ~30% will help against some of the more scary boss attacks
I would not change the build in act 2 or 3. Most people stick to same build during campaign and then later when you get currency and gold you can swap easily in maps.
Most people change build early in act 1 like you start with spells with druid and then you swap to wyvern attack like very early.
maul is your weapon attack
socket increases with your character level
lvl 36, 64, 90 for each upgrades iirc
Thank you
havent played poe 2 much for a few leagues - doing some campaign practice atm. Is it just me or is the balancing of early builds WILDLY varied? Trying a werewolf build for leveling and it feels so unbelievably weak for act 1. Is the meta just for every single build in the game to use grenades early or something?
shapeshift can be a little rough early and you definitely want some skills that don't unlock until later, doing the whole pounce > shred > lunar assault > cross slash combo is BIG and feels fkin sick on bosses (or at least it looks that way, I was doing minions while a friend ran wolf Amazon)
But yes mule lightning arrow from a ranger isn't a terrible idea, Tuadh does that for a few setups right now (YouTuber that does lvl 1 to tier 15 videos)
If you want to play shield wall, even as a new player there is no reason to go thru acts 3, 4, and interludes using typical mace skills, then a sudden and much larger respec at level ~65
Same for Whirling Assault, it does not unlock any earlier than lvl 41 so your choice is a late act 3 respec or waiting till maps, thats a pretty big gap for a newer player to stay powerful enough to not struggle on the way to the level 65 respec
Having access to the currency exchange would be a great help for potential mistakes, but I feel like an early respec is going to be more considerate of mistakes anyway due to how gold costs scale, and the fact that you'll have fewer skills available to distract you from the minimum build requirements
yes i think part of the issue is cross slash isnt available until lvl 22. by the end of act 1 the build is feeling "okay" - i just did A1 boss. it feels normal but then you see grenades killing the boss in like 5 seconds...
and before you get herald of ice the build feels quite bad imo
so very early act 1 is quite rough
compared to grenades etc. the clear is just nonexistant
grenades strength is their single target according to angormus, not it's clear. Lightning arrow and EDC both clear faster than nades, but time is made up on bossing when you dump 4 explosive and 4 gas grenades both with Multi-shot 😅
But yeah comparing other things to what 80%+ of racers use is going to lead to despair
well i think grenades clear much better than wolf in act 1 at least. at least pre herald
Agreed
ur literally like lunar assault and shredding single targets early on its so rough
Once you get used to dodge rolling, getting monsters positioned and swarming, etc
Wyvern auto attack at level 6 I've heard is the play
Boring but the play
i just feel like the campaign balance in this game needs work. i mean its not the worst issue in the world. poe 1 also had big differences in campaign with certain skills being WAY better than others
but idk. playing certain builds especially in act 1-2 feels like CBT compraed to others in this game
and tbh i think its kind of an important issue because new players are gonna play this game and just uninstall if their build feels super shit in act 1
You need a stick and some pebbles to throw to beat poe1 campaign haha yes the balance is different, but also think how many skills Lilly Roth sells that NO ONE uses lmao, game has its issues
for me ive played enough poe and i know whats going on so its whatever but if i introduced this game to a casual friend and they played werewolf i bet half of them would uninstall in act 1
Maybe
My friend has 2k hours or so and started 0.1 with FIFTY COUNT GEONOR ATTEMPTS
He literally uninstalled, took a two hour break, and immediately booted back up
Granted balance was different back then even geonor, but still
Games good enough people will get past their frustration and seek help from others, that's my take
is there a way to make this show the full gem information? like the one i would see in the gem screen?
No, but if you hit G to bring up your skills you can click the arrows by DPS to see more info on skills
How often do tabs go on sale?
Well, it seems to only be this Vaal beast. I am fine with everything but this spider on speed. I can't attack fast enough, or evade fast enough... Everything else is easy enough. Just this one. As it is, I didn't realise it was a buffed creature and was presuming all creatures were this difficult. But as of yet, I've not been able to kill it. It out heals and out paces me.
Is a totem build as a warrior okay for a new player? I know there are league starters and I know I'm kind of late but I've always wanted to try it It just looks so complicated
every 3 weekends
is there a consistent way to create ignited / chill / shocked ground?
there are companions, lightning warp, thunderous leap etc., lots of things
you can consistently create one ailment ground
how would it be done via companions? just fishing till the right mods?
you have to respawn at the checkpoint until the monster has chilled ground or something
ok so i basically have to wait till A3 to be able to do it myself then? was hoping to find something i could use in tandem with whirling slash
There's the Wake of Destruction boots
I don't know if it's a forever solution but they're level 16 and should cost peanuts on trade
Hey I'm looking for some advice - I don't play a lot of poe, ive barely just completed the campaign in both, but looking to get more into it. I want to use this season as a way to get my bearings and be ready for the next content update that looks super fun.
My problem is i find the campaigns very tedious in both games, and it kinda saps me before i can get into the late game, so im wondering if there's any campaign stomper characters that can be suggested? I don't mind if it's stinky at everything past that, I just want to get through the campaign asap, and then use the higher level character to set up following characters and have the campaign be less painful.
Last time I played poe2 just became available, and there was a very strong monk build, that had next to no buttons and when you had it set up, just walked through most the content, im hoping there's a build available like that, that lets me turn my brain off and just get through the campaign.
The campaign setups that speed runners use and the setups YOU should use can differ, especially if you want to "brain off"
Tbh the best brain off method is just go slower, kill every magic mob you see and stay above the level of the zone. A few levels can make a big difference for many builds
I can recommend:
-Grenades (skill expression comes from managing the delay as well as cooldown, but it is arguably the best single target skill that can also clear mobs well)
-lightning arrow + lightning rod
-essence drain + contagion, with either bonestorm, ED, or minion specialty
-mace skills (basic attack, rolling slam, boneshatter, perfect strike) until you can use shield wall + warcries
-pure minions, using contagion/unearth or perhaps flame wall/SRS. skeletal sniper is your single target, the gas command hits HARD
Things have also come a long way since 0.1 and the campaign is less of a slog than it was in certain ways.
YEE-YEE.
i aint reading all of that
I can't fuckin wait to enter jungle ruins again
You don't have to!
going through the campaign will be faster the more you do it too
nah jk
note that the meta leveling builds now might get nerfed
the get down inside joke was stuck on me
bear slam
rip
wait it might survive and oil barrage might take all the druid nerf
yo i genuinely cant beat krutog and i dont know what to do
i cant dodge his stomp
i dont get it man
i keep dodge rolling
but maybe im doing it the wrong way?
the after shock of his stomp then hits me after
I'd say give running away a try, the arena is small but not THAT small...
He's got innate armour and lightning resistance so there's that to make things worse
good thing im a plant druid then 🙂
ive had no issue with any boss in the game up until this guy
i cant dodge the stomp still 😭
how many attempts you at?
hows your life flask?
% amount recovered on an up-to-date flask + base HP from leveling up should allow you the freedom to make mistakes... as long as your dps isnt poopoo it should be much easier with good flasks
if you have updated flasks and dont want to overcome the fight with raw untainted skill, feel free to share your build through the site poeninja and folks can take a look. couple swaps and you could be up 200 life or some more damage
oh god get that suffix off asap, aka find a new one
thats TOUGH mod on flask
is there anything in act 2 that gives a guaranteed spirit gem?
buried shrines should have what you need iirc
its a sarcophgaus type clickable
ah in what zone?
between keth and the forsaken son boss fight, so buried shrines/lost city
i can after i beat this. if i ever do
im in ssf so i cant just buy a new one rn
well i could
but idk if itd be better
that mod is shooting yourself in the foot ngl
every time you click life flask you have to click mana
anyway, share your build or let me know your level relative to the zone
if you are less than 4 levels ABOVE, get to farmin
im level 47
you can reset zones by control clicking them
how do i share my build?
act 4 is wonky idk what zone level you are in
poeninja website
land of the kin
like monster level? 47 as well. if thats not what you mean im not sure
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
this is my build
brother why do you have one ring
you are not frodo
jewelry can be hard to come by, but at some point or another you should have seen a generic resistance ring to throw on
and replace the unique ring as well
because i havent found 2
we are aiming for life EVERYWHERE besides your wand and focus
the vendors sell rings
the wand/staff vendor almost always has them
all acts
life on what? armour as well
i think i need spell damage
8 rolls of 50 life you will be giga tanky compared to now
id be lying to you if i said i knew anything about crafting
