I've seen them get used to buff both the player and to be effective on their own, but that is the build. You can't just slap them on top of an existing build that already uses a bunch of direct damage skills, and last I remember, you were using a bunch of different druid skills across the various transformations and spells.

Higher base types have higher strength requirements but I don’t think you can do anything to an item to increase its requirements for the purpose of that passive.

There are a few uniques with increased attribute requirements mods. Notably Solus Ipse but whether that passive would take that specific mod or even the local reduced attribute requirements mods instead of using the items base unmodified values IDK.

If you just keep doing the quests it’ll probably be fine. PoE usually isn’t strict about the order of quests

The higher level versions of supports are not always strict upgrades. But you’re basically right in calculating the difference (2x vs 1.7x) although there are some nuances given you’ll likely have other sources of more stun buildup.

it feels REALLY bad

right now I'm using glacial cascade to get enemies in range of killing palm, then use falling thunder to finish off other mobs. but the issue is I can't survive even 1 or 2 hits. and glacial costs too much mana to maintain, killing palm puts me too close, and falling thunder needs powecharges generated by killing palm.

what am I missing?

I feel like I'm missing some key defensive ability like warrior shield or witches minions.

I mean, there is nothing stopping you from using shield block if you want to. Just equip a shield in the second weaponset. There is no weapon switching timer anymore.

So as monk early you kinda have to play to skills strengths. If you want to use falling thunder, generate power charges first. If you want to use glacial cascade, freeze enemies first or place the frozen crystals or whatever they're called (one of the other early skills) and hit them with it as it explodes them since they count as being frozen. And for defenses its the same as others. Life and res on gear.

Early monk is kinda rough but takes off once you get ice strike or the lightning one.
Concentrated area on glacial cascade, rapid attacks on the auto helped me a lot early game.

You don't have to stick to one form, but you do need to find synergies between skills. Adding extra skills that don't benefit each other serves no purpose.

Plenty of builds are using the wolf leap for movement and to apply mark skills, multiple form skills make use of rage, etc.

Ive got that part down at least im just greedy it’s more like i enjoy my active skills but also want to have multiple spirits too.
Bear has: fury, slam, maul
Wolf: pounce
Wyvern: wingblast, devour, oil barrage
Human: entangle, rain
And a spirit abilty
I could probably ditch the knockback its just super fun to pounce, wingblast, then go into fury or devour. Lots of fun movement.

Dont get me wrong i know we have plenty of room. I always just want more since i have more unused button on skill bar lol

If you weren't aware the bear slam comes out faster if you first do a skill that makes it stand up, like for eg the bear auto -> slam makes the slam much faster and less susceptible to interrupts

I'm pretty sure its cooldown not damage. Its a rabbit idol and you only get the minion command stat if you're a shaman and have taken the ascendancy node for bonded stats.

Get some cold resistance, there is a sidequest in act 1 that rewards u one of three charms, including a cold one.

If he summons the fog and minions he always attacks after his voice line, and if u keep running around the edge of the fog he won't hit you.

He always attacks from the opposite side of the fog so if you stay on the edge it gives you lots of time to dodge

Again, implicit skills on sceptres do not cost spirit so there's no need to toggle it off. You can easily see this yourself by toggling it on and off, and looking at the edge of your mana bar. You should also go into setting and enable the option to show your life/mana/spirit values above the globess, this makes it infinitely easier to figure out!

But yeah if you toggle OFF it should not grant any ES to anyone

Nope, just gonna keep progressing, the few you find during the campaign are enough to buy some pieces of gear incase you don't know how to acquire decent gear otherwise. Iirc the first and only sidequest that rewards multiple ex is in act 4, activating all bells in Astarat or how that town map is called.

yo mates im planning on practicing campaign with a friend, any support builds that could work? duo campaign is also super punishing so any advices could help too

Support builds aren't really a thing. Monster life increases with player count so you want two builds that can do damage and survive. It's not any tougher than a single person campaign if you're both using decent builds and paying attention to things like your life and resistances, which you should be doing anyway. You can TRY to do like an aurabot that focuses on debuffing, cursing, pinning, stunning, etc, but those are expensive historically and your friend would still need to do enough damage to make up for it.

I play every single league with my wife and outside of curse limit there aren't any real technical ways you can get in each other's way. Just if one person has a build that's much better than the other.

filling in for each other's weakness works, like a minion player combined with a nice AOE caster or martial weapon

Or just go similar build and you can invest in things like curse/expose/shock/armour break/wither stacks/etc in a way that benefits all

For instance last league my friend and I went double deadeye meta cuks, we both ended up using electrocuting arrow and tornado shot, but for a long time I used the former and he used the latter

even if you aren't minions, using a Sceptre with ally buffs is super nice. Lots of 1-handed options

Based on your video here, I'm not fully clear what the issue is? Your second cast of Entangle when you have rage to spend does do damage....like really bad damage. But it is hitting.

I think you may be hitting either a bug or simply the natural result of Furious Wellspring taken with Invigorating Hate.

You're consuming all of your rage when you shapeshift back on the Entangle trigger. Not 100% sure POE handles that seeming race condition.

Try unallocating Invigorating Hate for a sec, and see if you get hits on your first entangle cast when you shapeshift?

Definitely not. There are so many skill interactions in this game, that bug fixes for those are a constant dev battle. It'll be the reality all through early access for sure.

I will say, you are using weapon swap passive points way better than most self-proclaimed noobs though.

Many people don't figure out how to use those until a second or third character. Druid does help a bit in encouraging it, but you're ahead of the curve regardless.

as more and more leagues happen, when they end all of your items get migrated to standard, so currency builds up a lot in standard which makes it much harder for new players to even try trading

it doesnt help that sometimes theres leagues that just prints high tier currency like the current league with the vaal temple, so there will be a massive amount of divines dumped into standard when it ends, and you wont be able to catch up if you didnt do the temple mechanic before it was nerfed (because mechanics usually get nerfed when the league ends)

so its not recommended to start in standard

even if you only want to play standard, you should still start in the current league because it will be easier to trade for items and get yourself some currency so you have less catching up to do in standard

3 - If I increase the quality of a skill gem, will it remain if I increase it's level or swap to another skill and return to it later?
4 - When buying a weapon, should I focus solely on the DPS is gives, or are there other important aspects as well? Like Life Leech, ATK Speed, + level to skills, etc.
5 - What is an easy way to make currency for a newbie? I am trying to sell maps (Waystones) and making a bit, but I need way more money to upgrade my gear. I am still dying a lot.

Next time use #2┃after-acts-help but here:

1. monster level and area level are based on the map tier. A precursor tablet that adds irradiated will add one extra level to the area
2. EXP wise it’s better to run higher tier blue maps. Items might be little better in higher tier blue maps. League mechanic specific drops likely won’t be that different at higher than T11. I bet you could make some upgrades to your build with the currency you have and make it to higher tier maps.
3. Quality will permanently stay on that gem. If you upgrade the level of the gem by cutting a higher level uncut gem while your quality’ed one is equipped you will keep the quality. It works the same as sockets.
4. It depends on your build. DPS is going to be affected by attack speed. For some builds AS is a key part of damage scaling for others it is just QoL. Other stats are similar. + levels is pretty universally good.
5. Essences or Researchers strongboxes only cost atlas points to put on your map. Early on I was just adding whatever tablet effects I could to add things to my map but tablet prices have gone up. It’s probably fine to throw most things on but I’d sell Ritual Tablets for sure.

You should be able to return to the vaal ruins by using the right sidebar at any waypoint

If you really closed the temple which you probably didn't its not a bug deal you will have plenty of attempts at fighting the architect. There should be one Vaal beacon per campaign area. Beacons will only spawn once per zone unless you reset the zone manually by creating a new instance or by leaving for ~15 minutes. You need to activate 6 beacons to open a new temple after the old one is closed.

Divine orbs can be used on unique items to change the rolls just like on rares but it is rarely worth doing that. Definitely never worth it in the campaign because divine orbs are quite rare.

i just cant get out of that circle in time

the balistas dont seem to do anything about that

i did the balista, then he makes a blood aoe around him and goes to full hp, cant get out of it in time with bear maybe is all it is btu what do the balista even do then?
