Open the drop down for that skill in the gem menu and there are little checkboxes for that skill for both weapon sets. Disable it for the weapon set that doesn't have a martial weapon.

The green thing is desecration caused by the jawbone, you'd take it to the lightless depths to identify the desecration but if you used an essence it rerolls the entire item iirc

So you can desecrate the item again but otherwise no you can't get it back

If you have 6 modifiers on the item it'll remove one and replace it with the desecration mod

Having those two omens will guarantee an amanamu suffix

Which I guess is what you're going for based on your crafting guide

i sued a perfect exalted orb and got two stats and 1d got swaped with onslaught and the desecration got swaped with +5 to all stats , if i use the thing to get the desecration back will swap the 2nd stats and get back the desecration or will swap any stats to get desecration back?

Dextral necromancy forces a suffix to be chosen when you desecrate, and of the liege forces it to be an amanamu mod

theyre a very common currency, so people build up more of them, they dont really have any use in crafting (in trade league) or any other sink for them, so people build up more of them, so they become very inflated

idk why people fixate on using exalts to trade, chaos are much better because theyre actually used in crafting, theyre a bit rarer too, they hold value better

as long as there isnt any sink for exalts, they will never be valuable

It was probably checking the attribute requirements for the weapon set that didn't have the sceptre. There's been seem weird stuff going on with that and shapeshifting .

Safest thing to do is to go into the gem menu and enable each skill only for the appropriate weapon set.

Weapon swap can be super strong but its tough to understand early.

It looks like the optimal temple is some snaking one along the outside where there isn’t any connection squares. So all item/boss/guard etc rooms no travel one’s. Can I get rid of these?

Ive only played this game once at launch for a few hours but the druid got me interested - my question is, is ssf viable for me? will the itemization be straight forward and easy or will it go over my head? Depends on the specific build but generally if you look for max life and resistances on gear, get some move speed on boots, and get swap out your weapon as often as possible for something better, you'll be fine. SSF gets rough when you need a specific unique for the build to function. But generally its doable as long as you use the tools you're given. Floor loot, vendors, crafting currency, salvaging/disenchanting, etc.

I mean, if you're using druid attacks, get talismana with a lot of damage on them. If you're using spells, get a wand/staff with a lot of bonuses to spell damage/cast speed. Take passives accordingly. At a general level its pretty straightforward.

short answer, no. It depends what you mean by "aoe" too, because there are aoes that you can't dodge through / out of and ones you can, and things that are projectiles and things that aren't.

It's basically just getting used to the things the enemies can do and you'll understand which things you can dodge, which are ground effects you need to move out of, etc.

there do seem to be some bugs that make ground effects less visible in some terrain types

There's not a "right" answer to whether you have enough damage, but in this game generally killing stuff faster is one of the strongest defensive layers. They can't damage you if they're dead.

The more enemies you hit, and the higher rarity, the more energy it gains. Gem level improves it also I believe. And there is a support gem that increases energy generation.

You get more spirit from quests or items. The easiest is just to get to act 3 and get 30 more spirit from one of the early zones.

Which boss is it that you are dying to? Temple of CHaos?

In the early acts, you can pretty much just focus on getting a lot of life, and a bit of resists depending on the bossfight.

Its important to keep your health flask current.

Armour/evasion/energy shield is still good to get, but you also need items with a high amount before it will have a big effect.

Its also completely okay to press ESC to pause and think stuff through.

Or just quit the game if the situation is too dangerous.

And log in again in town.

If you die to a boss, i would also recommend trying him again in the same character, as it just trasnfered to SC SSF.

THis will also give you a feel for how much damage the boss is doing, so you will know how much health to shoot for next time.

In HC, you always trade some damage away in order to get more survivability.

Once you get to maps, you can use the recombinator to pretty easily craft gear with high ES/armour.

If you are planning to make a new caster, Mind over Matter alongside Mana remnants is also really great for getting a good eHP buffer.

But good ES gear is not hard to get with the recombinator.

Get a good base item with a T1 or T2 flat ES mod, and recombine with a good base with a T1 or T2 % ES mod.

THe ES mods are not rare at all.

Then you can quickly get a chest armour 500-600 ES.

Even more if you hit a hybrid mod with a desecrate or an exalt.

Getting a single T1 ES mod from each item has a 30%ish succes rate.

So you will quickly get a high ES chest.

There’s a setting in options that you can tick or untick (can’t remember which) to allow you to craft “unusable” gems but you should still be able to use that skill regardless of what weapon you’re using

There rly isn't a guide needed for something that simple

The only thing you could potentially look up is on which lvl the ascendancy skills get another lvl, but you would also figure it out naturally while playing.

You are inside the gem menu a lot so you would immediately notice.

Hi guys, is there a guaranteed T8 Spirit Gem from Campaign? Like that one from the King in the Mists in Act I

I've tried googling, but only found questions and answers about farming them, no mention of guaranteed ones

pretty sure theres a t7 im only on act 4 with like 30 hours smashed together within the last 3 days and i had to ask a friend for my first t8 spirit gem and that was like mid act 3

you just have to farm them i almost got a 10 spirit gem from the ground but i died before i could grab it thats the only one ive ever got higher than 7

Anyone know how to get Exiled Exchange to install?
I got the pop up where you click "Run Anyway", clicked that, and then nothing, not even that Windows thingy that pops up sometimes when installing programs, which I even checked my Toolbar to make sure it's not there and just behind everything, as it sometimes does

4 acts, 3 interludes, I assume the first ever playthrough campaign takes people on average around 40 hours, but it really depends on yourself, my first campaign took me 80 hours

every 10 levels is a good idea, I usually replace my helmet and boots like that. For the body armour and gloves I replace it when I feel like I get close to dying more often. Weapon I replace every 10, rings and amulet also when required/available.

You get 100 by default from acts 1, 3 and the third interlude (on the right) but if you need more than that you can equip a scepter or other gear with spirit on it (body armor and amulets can also have spirit, there’s an amulet base type that gives it as an implicit)

hi, im really enjoying the new class Druid as a Wyvern and also being a Wolf bit not as a spell caster, so is Shaman ascendency ideal for me or oracle?

Both have pros and cons, a lot of people are playing shapeshifters as Shaman and casters as Oracle but it doesn’t really matter because both ascendancies are strong currently

Shaman gives some solid rage buffs and makes it easier to maintain, and also allows you to unlock the bonded effects of runes, whereas Oracle gets an entire set of additional passive tree nodes that isn’t accessible by any other class/ascendancy

yeah i really lean toward the Oracle cuz the unseen path nodes really tempting for me i feel the tree will be fun to me

I'm just starting act 4 , how much does increased rarity of items found stat on my gear matter to me rn? cause i have better gear but i'll have to sacrifice 34% of inc item rarity for it

I don’t think you can really go wrong with either one right now tbh, and you can always respec later if you feel like you want to go the other way

no one knows , ppl did tests last league and 150 was ideal in endgame ,but then ggg said it's not and this league they did some changes to how rarity works , I have 16% in endgame and dropped 16 divines ,564 exalts,7 perfect jeweller's and so on

In acts I’d prioritize life and resistances above all else on everything except your weapon

Is there a hidden weapon requirement for Druid volcano skill? It keeps telling me invalid weapon type when I have a talisman equipped. No matter what talisman.

I don't see any requirement of a specific weapon-type on the skill itself.

Ahh I figured it out. I had locked my weapon swap and it bound to the old weapon.

It's castable from a talisman because that's the first weapon I had with it.

I guess if you lock the weapon swap and get rid of the old weapon, it bugs out and won't let you cast with it anymore.
