it's complicated and no one knows for sure how it works outside of ggg , last league ppl did a lot of testing and spreadsheets and came to the conclusion that 150% item rarity was optimal , ggg in interviews said that's not really how it works , this league they've changed the formula , basically you don't need that much , I've been getting a lot of divines and stuff in ssf , I have 16 rarity , just got 1 div now

To answer your question. The merchant tab is not for your stash but for an NPC in your hideout. The npc will keep your items that you put on sale so that other players can buy it off you without the need for you to be online

It's a bit complicated.

Basically when you buy POE2 you get access to the game trough your account.

Since the license is bound to your account it doesnt matter where you start the game from (steam/epic/poe owns launcher).

The steam and epic game keys you see in your accounts are keys that allow you to add poe2 to any launcher you want. It only allows you to launch the game. After the game is launched you have to login. Its only then that poe2 checks if your account with which login has access to poe2.

Some advances support packs offers extra access keys. Those keys which give access to poe2 has to be activated on poe2 website

There are passive nodes that benefit both attacks and spells. There's weapon swapping so you can do a melee wespon and caster weapon and switch between them for skills, there are meta gems like "cast on crit" that automatically cast spells when you crit an enemy, etc.

So you need two different weapons with good damage to make that work. Mace strike doesn't do anything extra. Pounce inflicts a mark on enemies that increases the damage taken based on how many of your allies are near them...which would be zero since its just you and no minions.

Those are still two random skills you're using that have no synergy with each other.

Unfortunately no way to access your stash from an area outside town/your hideout, but if you find yourself going back that much you’re probably picking up a lot of junk

Usually I just pick up currency, gems, and gear that I’m actually going to use (and drop it on the ground again if I don’t want it)

If you were headed towards a location, probably. Since you can fire while moving. There's a setting on skills to lock you in place I think but firing while moving is really useful and WASD makes it easy.

it really depends on what you enjoy. Some people love to get a character to the point where they can clear all content, then they start a new character. Some people enjoy minmaxing a build and trying around with different variations on their character. Other people just enjoy some part of the game and play that without greater objective, like you could be running sekhemas nonstop for the fun of it and optimize clear time / learn damageless.

the only thing you learn from spending many hours in the game is what you enjoy the most about it.

you increase strength either by specing into it in the passive tree (the nodes that lie on the way let you choose +5 to int, str or dex) - you can respec at the correct npc.
Alternative is gear, some gear might have an affix that gives +# to strength or +# to all attributes

Yeah your "travel" passive nodes that get you from place to place and give +5 to an attribute of your choice is the main way to meet gear requirements.

Putting it in both sets would mean that in the non-green set the node wouldn’t be connected to the rest of the tree

You can either allocate the small node next to it as both sets or anoint it (but obviously that’s not a great idea)
