think of PoE2 as a strategy game, there will be bosses in confined rooms, bosses in big spaces, you have to have a strategy for everything. im sure you can find a cool skill you can slot on real quick to fight that enemy

There should be plenty of space for sorc in just about every boss fight, except for like... the act 1 boss force constrained section.

But that's more about just not dying than it is about dealing damage.

If your going bear, focus on maul to build rage then furious slam when you build up enough rage to enrage slam twice

The most common cause of 0xc00000e is corrupt operating system files. Download the windows iso for your operating system and run the recovery tools to run a chkdsk which will resolve the corrupt files.

I would say the campaign is maybe harder but character building is more accessible. A new player is less likely to make mistakes without a guide. Some builds can struggle at certain points but overall you can make it work.

As for EA: It will become free when 1.0 launches, correct. Although note that the $30 it costs for EA access also gets you $30 worth of points for MTX, so the money doesn't become completely wasted when the game becomes free.

As far as timeline goes: They've said they really want the game to launch by the end of 2026, but many players have doubts based on the pace they're going. Since EA released about a year ago we've gotten 1 new act and 2 new classes, we know they want to release 2 more acts to finish the campaign before full launch and there are more classes and subclasses planned too (but they might not all be ready in time for 1.0). They're also working a lot on endgame and other content too.

So, most skills are either spells, attacks, or minions. Attacks use your weapon for their damage, spells have their own damage values, and minions do their own thing. You can tell what type a skill is by looking at its tags, under the name.

If by Necromancy, you mean things like curses and damage over time, you do still want the ones I mentioned. However, if you mean Necromancy like Skeletons and Zombies or other minions, you will probably use at least one Sceptre instead.

Oracle has potential but I don't know any specific builds that use it best. If you like Shaman you could easily become a normal Slam build. They basically just use a two skill "combo" for clearing: volcanic fissure, then stampede. For bosses and rares, you use Earthquake and/or Hammer of the Gods. There's a couple ways to go with it, too

it's exactly the opposite way of how you think it is: the stronger a build is the less it's gear dependant usually because even if you do a budget version of a very strong buld it's still a strong build, try gearing most of the other builds and you will see how much weaker they are, the build strength comes first of all from your items, passive tree, skill gem levels and supports. The ascendancy and the choice of skill plays the smallest role here. Get a bow with high damage, flat damage on rings and gloves, attack speed on gloves, get a third support socket, use the trading website and your currency

LA is strong because of the skill gem itself, because of lightning rod, of the passive tree side, rhoa etc. etc.

I've been switching from vulkan to dx12 a few times and deleting the shader cache in appdata -roaming-poe2 folder , that helped me , my problem is that it goes from 120 fps to 40 and I have to restart the game , might have something to do with alt tab

Those are attacks, not spells. So your weapon matters a lot. If you're doing low damage with attacks its usually because of your weapon or your gem setups.

nvm it's based on the character lvl 40 something is 3rd slot, lvl 65 unlocks 4th slot,5th is lvl 90, what's based on the ilvl of the weapon is the actual skill lvl for example maul , so to get lvl 20 maul you need ilvl 82 or something

I found it. It's my staff skill when in human form.... but the staff when in human forms give the missing inteligence required. So when in human form it doesn't complain when in wyvern forms it does complain
