Outside of Lineage Supports, Support Gems don't have level requirements. All that the levels on Uncut Support Gems determine is the range of supports you're able to cut, so if you had a bunch from one character and started up a fresh one, you can freely use them to get whatever supports you want.

Hey y'all! I'm a relatively new player to the game (got the act three a couple times when the game first released but thats it) and I have bee experiencing a lot of difficulty in the campaign with the huntress. I feel like im just not doing much damage and everything is killing me so fast. At first I thought maybe melee is just harder, but I experienced none of these issues on my monk, granted that was almost a year ago now so it could just be harder lol. Is it a skill issue? Is she just hard early game? or is the build im following not very good? any and all advice appreciated.

That should be a decent build. Make sure you're following the passives and gem setups for where you're at. You're using attacks, so its very important to keep getting better weapons. And for survivability you should be looking for gear with life and resistances on it.

Just get to a high enough area that monsters can drop it. Has nothing to do with what level you are. Monster level determines drops.

Don't ignore blue gear, don't be afraid to use low tier currency to craft, definitely use artificer orbs and runes to improve things like your resists, check vendors and the gambling NPC for decent items or bases you can craft on.

No faster than ground loot and you can get some items that have a couple good stats and use abyssal crafting, essences, and the occasional bit of luck to make decent items.

Just did a two floor Sekhema trial and wow, what a frustating and unfun experience.

Really long challenge with so many curses and rng, feels bad to fail at the very end, the idea having to try again kinda makes me not want to play. Not because i lost but because it takes so much time and effort to get there. Its why i can run headfirst into a souls boss for a week, dying a 100 times and have fun, but with this, after just one try and I dont feel like attempting a Sekhema ever again

Companions are Minions, so yes, it will work. Generally, you cannot socket a Support Gem into a skill where it doesn't do something (though in some cases, you can put in supports that aren't beneficial).

Generally, Spell Levels are one of the most valuable mods you can get on caster items, plus that's a magic item that you can always upgrade and potentially get something even better.

And you can see it in the character selection screen, and when in game, on the character screen.

Generally the only time you want to use an attribute is to allow you to equip gear or a gem

I never bothered with that because I saw all the builds I wanted to follow only used 1 weapon set. It is certainly something you can use to have more flexibility on your build. You lose nothing by leaving the 2nd weapon set empty tho

i always get some use out of wep swapping in every build i make personally

there's no specific way to farm currency from drops, especailly in campaign. You just wanna hold on to exaults and up to use them to trade

once you get closer to endgame you can use methods to craft, play the market, or other farming methods for items that people buy for currency

All of these tips can vary in effectiveness.
Experiment and try as many as you are willing.

In POE 2 settings:

• Set Sound Channel Count to Low. (This might seem trivial but there is a known issue with the game's optimization and sounds, try it)
• Set as many graphic options as low as you're willing
• Set Dynamic Resolution and Dynamic Culling to On
• Switch to a less busy Trade and Global chat channel by opening chat, typing:
  /global [random 5 digit number]
  /trade [same random 5 digit number]
  for example:
  /global 29432 /trade 29432
  (This may help because the game constantly receives and logs chats even if you do not see them)
• For game crashes try changing Graphics setting Renderer from Vulkan to DirectX12 or the other way around.
• For a more extreme solution, remove all sound effects through the game's files (search for a guide online)

__For Windows users: __

• Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
• Check Startup Apps in Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and disable any apps you do not want to run when you boot up Windows.
• Make sure XMP mode is enabled for your RAM in bios (Search Youtube for guide. Very easy)
• Disable Discord overlay
• Uninstall Xbox apps you do not use
• (Advanced) Look into Curve Optimizer / P.B.O. for CPU optimization

For Steam users:

• Disable steam overlay

If you get pounded by a boss using a specific element, its time to upgrade gear

Rings especially are great for resistances

Once you hit maps you want to be close to 75% in all 4

Chaos res can be neglected for the first couple map tiers

Don't feel terible about it, lots of people including myself, get stuck at bosses.

Only advice I have is to bring up your cold resistences for this fight at least and then you can swap back to gear you prefer.

Also I heard someone say that when the fog comes up and he comes at you from outside of the circle, he always comes from opposite of where you are, so it's better not to be in the middle and pick a father spot away from the middle so you have more time to dodge

Hello! Does anyone know why the Stun Bar on enemies turns orange when I Freeze them? After freezing them, I can't get any significant Stun buildup on the enemy.

After a crowd control effect is inflicted on enemies there's basically a cooldown where its harder to inflict another. Its to prevent perma-freezing/stunning enemies.

Freezing should have it's own thing, if I'm remembering correctly. There's a cold exposure that causes them to freeze in place that's different than the stun bar. The stun bar will go orange when it gets maxed out and it can be increased to reach that maximum by breaking the freeze. Once orange, it'll reset and have a timer that prevents it from increasing for a short duration 🙂

If you're referring to the ice shards floating around people, that's Arctic Armour, a Spirit gem. It's one of the few you can get at that level, and is generally quite useful defensively, so it's a good first choice for Int characters.

If you’re playing Viper Cap, you generally don’t need any mana regeneration for attack skills.

Your Stun Threshold is based on your total life pool (and also your Energy Shield if you’ve picked the related passive in the skill tree).
That means: If you have low life, investing into Stun Threshold is very valuable, because it reduces the chance that enemies can stun you.

As for ailments: once your elemental resistances are capped, you won’t be affected by most ailments as often, so you don’t need to worry about them too much.

Based on this you should pick, since there is not really a "Best" for all classes / builds

You don't want to be too underleveled. Skipping monsters means skipping XP and loot. If you're underpowered, it could be any number of reasons, the easiest being what your weapon looks like and what you're using for skill/support gems.

Many cosmetics are being converted to work in both games. I don't know if that includes hideout decorations.

I think what they meant was having the same decoration placed in both games at the same time

However, the game treats this the same way as trying to put the decoration in two different hideouts in one game, and removes it from the first to place it into the second.

The same happens with basically all other limited MTX, so having an Armour set equipped in PoE1 will count it as being in use in PoE2, and trying to equip it will unequip it from the PoE1 character.

2 is easier to understand, has better visuals, and slower more tactical gameplay, but it has a price tag ($30 and you get $30 worth of store currency) and is incomplete. POE1 is more complex but is free and has 10 years of content and quality of life. Both games are receiving updates and seasons/leagues.

Maxroll has good starter builds for both games. But they are very much two different games.

If you mean a guild in game, we don't have anything for that on the server. I can't really recommend much past the forums, but even then, there's no need to be in a guild. No content requires it, and you don't get any benefits past the guild-wide stash and a guild hideout.

You don't need to bind the Minion skill itself. Use the Plus button next to the 0 to spawn at least one Sniper, then you will be able to use the Command.

It works like this on all Persistent Minions, btw, so all the Skeletal ones you can get. Rather than having to cast the Minion manually, you just allocate as many as your Spirit allows, and they will automatically spawn in and respawn if they die.

When does mercenary speed up a bit (or what skills/supports/weapons help it speed up)? I've played every class except Merc because it feels so slow to start given low shots and reload speed (or the fuse speed if trying grenades)

I leveled with fragmentation rounds and permafrost bolts for a nice freeze explode combo. There's a bunch of supports that increase reload speed (attack speed affects it also IIRC), there are support gems that decrease grenade fuses and some of them also have shorter fuses than others.

Attack Speed affects it, yes, on both the weapon and tree, though Reload Speed modifiers are generally larger since they affect only the reload.

I got monk to end of act 4 this season with ice monk / charged staff / resonance stuff without hallowed palm and didn't notice any significant difference compared to previous seasons.

Rise of the Abyssal is the current league, so it would be best to pick that. Hardcore means that your character dies, you move to the softcore version of the same league (Standard or Rise of the Abyssal). SSF means that you cannot trade or party with other players.

Following or atleast getting inspiration from a guide is a good idea to start learning yes. Don't worry about using lower lvl uncut gems, you will get plenty of them.

Also look for uniques like foxshade, meginord’s girdle, wanderlust, blackheart, these are low level uniques that give a bunch of stats or move speed or damage and let you rush through the early game if that’s what you want to do. These of course aren’t guaranteed on a league start but if you drop one or something it could help.

The only outright permanent choice is a relatively minor one, with a quest reward in Act 3. Outside of that, you can respec your character, ascendancy, swap around skills relatively easily, and more.

As long as you pay attention and read through tooltips, you should be perfectly capable of getting through the campaign, at the very least.

A good example of this is volatility. The Volatility support gem allows you to gain volatility on crit. Volatility can only be gained once every 0.1 second so you can attack so you could reach a point with really fast attacks and 100% crit chance, you would "waste" volatility procs. A few of us in the acolyte of chayula build chat were mathing the best attack speeds to not waste attacks (we also found that volatility was closer to 0.14 seconds instead of 0.1)

Performance comes down to a lot more than a video card. POE's engine is very CPU heavy. You could have different memory. Are his drivers up to date? He could have other third party software eating up system resources that you don't have. Has he tried the different renderers as suggested? If he's new, perhaps the shader cache is still building. He could also try increasing the size of his shader cache using the nvidia control panel. That's just off the top of my head.

You may want to check when this guide was released. Path of Exile tends to have major changes every league, and with PoE2 being in Early Access, there's even more iteration than usual.
This guide is from 0.1. Ancestral Warrior Totem was given an Endurance Charge cost in 0.3.

You can try to adjust it and find ways to generate Endurance Charges - some skills have it as an innate thing, and you can add the functionality to others with supports.

Currently, we're on Rise of the Abyssal, which adds Abyss encounters, new crafting options, Uniques, and more. After the league ends, it's likely to be integrated into the core game in some way, but until then, that content is exclusive to the league.

desecration is the keyword to search for more info. you use bone items (like preserved jawbone or rib) to desecrate an item, which will add a modifier that initially appears as a weird green symbol. then you visit the well of souls to reveal what that weird green modifier actually is. i think it gives you 3 options to choose from.
