Oh yea it’s that then, it takes 10 secs to ramp, but if the gear is your “original” gear I think the game just keeps it at max level unless you specifically unequip instead of swap. I noticed that too

Like you swap a spirit gear the auras are still up and it shows negative spirit reservation and you have to specifically unequip and wait (instead of swap) for it to show

if you've gotten to act 4, you can use the currency exchange to sell them

Also depends on what's in the other 3 tabs. If you've got just a bunch of random rares, might as well chuck those before the gems.

And if you bought the early access, you get 300 points to spend in the mtx shop, which is best used for stash tabs. So you could get like a currency tab and/or a gem tab

I personally like to keep a small stock of uncut gems for future characters. but stuff like random trash uniques and rares can just be sold for gold or currency shards

the flag will spawn chests, the remnants will affect that explosion and all future explosions. there are sticks with skulls around too with the big ones spawning runic monsters

what you want is to chain remnants together to get better rewards towards the end of teh chain

Nothing feels super awesome early when you have a bad weapon and limited support gems and no attack/reload speed.

If you feel underpowered, check your support gems and make sure they're straight up giving damage to the skill, and try to get a better weapon. I've doubled my dps before early by throwing transmutes/augments at white bases from vendors or by spending gold at the gambler.

Strength gives more life and you still need to stack defensive layers. Energy shield is apparently still king but you can also go quite far with evasion + deflect or armor + armor applies to elemental hits, plus the usual life and resists.

The wisps are a randomly generated side mechanic and not tied to a specific area after the first encounter. Its a spirit that you follow until it possesses a rare monster and makes them tougher and their drops better.

I have no issues whatsoever buying gear early with the old trading system. I found plenty of pieces with health + resistances for 1-5 ex. If you really can't find anything I recommend putting on less strict filters on the website.

No, and that's probably part of my problem. I'm planning to re-spec to a different build once I'm out of the campaign, so I don't want to use all my mats now, just enough to get by. In prior seasons I could spend like 5ex and get gear enough to pull me through the campaign but the act 4 trade change has made that tougher. In terms of crafting this is definitely me being ignorant, but in my view I have super limited resources, and it's a big gamble to use those on items probably won't turn out better than what I have. So I prefer to just buy the gear but again not an option this season

There's no point in saving resources unless you drop like a divine or something, especially since higher tiers of them drop as you progress.

And you don't know if you'll end up with something better unless you try.

Relying on trade to get through the campaign indicates a shortcoming in how you're gearing yourself.

Abyssal crafting has also made it much easier to end up with decent items.

Can you point me towards any resources on how to craft more effectively? I'm newer to poe so my understanding of crafting would be like you take an item, use a regal, use an ex, hope for the best. In prior seasons that ex could just buy me the item I want so I never bothered to learn crafting

I've had luck in the campaign with buying a white base or a base item with one desired mod on it, throwing a transmute and augment at it (or just an augment), checking to see if I have an essence with a guaranteed mod I want, using that if I do to make it rare with a third desirable mod. then I use the abyssal crafting item. Finish off with an exalt or two. If at any point in that process I get two or even one mod that I don't want, I dump the item and start over. Mostly did it with my weapon but if you're dying in act 3 that usually means you're light on defenses so you have several armor slots to try to craft for.

And if you aren't using artificer's orbs and runes in all your gear, you're just shooting yourself in the foot.

Thing is i just ported back to the hideout to sell and i noticed i somehow lost 3 portals even though i didn't die in the map. Any idea how this happened? that's probably the safest and most well-known warrior leveling path

with perfect strike for bossing

there's also the new fissure stuff

that's really strong as well

It's some kind of driver issue that they haven't been able to solve. It used to crash the game but they implemented a temporary workaround that just reloads the driver.

the only issue is mana sustain

levels add a lot of mana cost

so you have to be careful not bricking your own sustain

so make sure you are following a leveling build, not endgame(they tends to skip early damage nodes), find flat damage (adds... to attack) on rings, gloves, and quiver. And try not to get supports with less damage on your skill, it would be hard to fill all of the slots with damage support at this point really

You have negative lightning res. That's real bad. Your gloves are worthless since you aren't using any spells. You don't want/need to have a quarterstaff equipped since you're using hollow Palm. And since you're using hollow Palm, you want evasion or evasion/energy shield gear wherever possible since hollow Palm scales off of those stats on your gear.

That would be a bit difficult, given that a class is just a starting location on the tree and a set of ascendancy classes, and you could play any of those however you want as well. Last league, there were Witches using Spears, and the league before that Mercenaries with Quarterstaves, with plenty more in each league.

unfortunately there's not really a lot of guide videos that actually show the detailed mechanics of builds. most guide videos are explaining how their build works and why it's powerful. I just watched a YT video of Kripp's RF minions and it was 15 minutes long, he spent about 20 seconds actually talking about the playstyle.

you won't find much there, but what you will find are guides on the best builds for the current patch. my advice is to play the most popular builds, learn the fundamentals, and how to progress through gear. once you have a good feel for the game and how to customize your passive skills and gear, then you'll be prepared to experiment with different classes.

Its meant to be tough. Its earned power and if you can't get through it, it means your build needs improvement usually. Did you have the green version of the trial key? Because that is repeatable.
