so ive got 2 issues after rerunning the campaing:

1. I skipped through Alva dialog in Kingsmarch (too fast) and she walked off, but i think shes suppose to offer up some rewards, which i accidentally skilled and now i cant find her.
2. I killed the guy in molten vault but it didnt drop the quest item ( i think its a hammer ) after resetting zone he didnt spawn

it's a bit tough depending on your build but you can do it as many times as you like to try and get the ascendency points

and you only have to kill the first boss, not complete the entire trial

Got through the second set of maps and there is a altar of ascendancy with "interact to gain ascendancy passive skill points" written under it, but when I click on it I just get brought to the passive skill tree without any extra ascendancy points

Do note, however, that you can't just run low level ones over and over. There are area level breakpoints that add more encounters/floors to each trial that reward more points

well yeah sure, but in my opinion, it would just be spending time that you could otherwise spend progressing through the campaign where you'll get better stuff than you'd get in a repeat trial run

But I'm not one to tell you what is and isnt fun for you haha. If you enjoy running trials, go for it!

For sure. Ultimately there's no real rush either way, league's lasting another 3 and a half months or so. So plenty of time to do whatever you like. You get one more "free" trial with the trial of chaos in act 3. Then for ascendancy points 5 through 8, you have to run high(er) level sekhema/chaos trials that is typically done post-campaign. If you really enjoy sekhemas, it's actually a pretty viable endgame strat if you don't enjoy mapping as much.

But that's something for you to think about way down the road

My opinion, kinda, yeah. They redid the evade formula in 0.3 which makes it much less effective while leveling. Bramblejack isn't really much better tbh. I would just say take whatever rare gear you can get that gives good life and resists, and worry about base types and the armour/es/evade stuff post-campaign

well you get access to ange, the async trade npc in act 4. Although I'm not 100% sure if you are restricted from buying pre-act 4. I didn't try it myself. But once you unlock ange in act 4 once, she's unlocked for all characters for the rest of the league

Not to seem like I'm forcing you to take another option. But what level are you? Because you're likely gonna get hit with another 10% or so ele res penalty. And just wanna point out again that the ele res is the easiest one there to fix. You might be a bit more pressed when it comes to reaching attribute requirements for skill gems, and that 15% global defences penalty is gonna hurt whatever armour/es/evasion you have.

all my gems are fine just fixed them all up too, taking this didn't impact any it's really just the defence for now which doesn't matter because everything evaporates, bosses included, when my ele res drops under max ill swap off it

monk gets easier as you invest time and currency into it, does very well late end game once your char has good items and some passive points to help it. Its not "EASY" by any means but very rewarding

Not sure what the scorpio build is, or what level you are. But having something like freeze support on ice strike and using herald of ice should help a lot with getting swarmed. Basically turns ice strike into a bit aoe with all the herald explosions

lvl 32 is still very early in the game, and you should be checking the npc vendor every time you level up for newer better gear.
your monk wont feel good at all if you dont invest some good time and buy decent gear

Yeah, the game gets a ton easier and more streamlined with more experience and knowledge. Going in the first time is diving into the deep end regardless of how you go about it. Just always wanna make sure to focus on getting as much life and res on your gear. Getting some flat damage on your rings and gloves is nice as well. Lines that say like "adds x to y (element) damage to attacks"

So there are 3 main ways to sell stuff to other players in poe 2

1. Placing an item in a premium stash tab. You can place any item in them and set a price. Players can whisper you to buy the item, you meet them in a location (usually a hideout) and make the trade manually
2. The currency exchange. This is done primarily through Ange who you meet in act 4. After meeting her, you can place her in your hideout. (You get a hideout in act 4 as well). Here you can trade any non-modifiably item. So stuff like exalted orbs, essences, etc. Stuff that has no variance.
3. The merchant tab. Similar to the premium tab, where you place an item in the tab and set the price. Differences with this are that you don't have to interact with the buyer. You place the item, the buyer just teleports to your hideout and purchases it. You collect the money at your convenience. Also, anything that can be placed in the currency exchange cannot be placed in a merchant tab.

So in this case, the chimes support gem can be purchased through player-to-player trading (option 1) or the currency exchange. Considering how easy the exchange is, it's very unlikely many people would place the gem in a premium tab for player-to-player trading.

There's ED/C lich, blood mage skills can use snap as a generator for infusions for whatever spell you wanna run, quarterstaff/hollow palm builds can use a variety of skills with tempest bell. that's just off the top of my head

Haha unfortunately mathil is known for what is called "the mathil effect". Mainly in poe 1 at least. Where he comes up with off-the-wall fun builds that are dirt cheap to put together, but the popularity of the builds he makes usually tends to make these dirt cheap items explode in popularity. But I don't think this build uses anything too specific to bloat the price of it

Well LA uses bows, not crossbows. So that won't affect the price. But crossbows overall are also pretty powerful. But that shouldn't really deter you from playing it if you want to. Because while yes there is more demand for items with a larger playerbase, there's also a larger market. People making upgrades and dumping old gear, people knowing about the popularity of the items and just generally selling more of them, stuff like that.

Those skill books you've received from quests and stuff during the campaign. Those are your weapon swap passives. It's a bit of a convoluted system at first glance. But essentially, you get a total of 24 weapon swap passives. The intention is that you can set skills in your skill gem page to use specifically your first or second weapon set. In this update, you can now "lock" your weapon to be used in both weapon slots. So you could, for instance, set 24 passives to magnify your curses, and another 24 passives for pure damage.

Kinda hard to explain over text, but it's a fairly simple system once you get the basics down

This is much more of a question for #2┃after-acts-help , but the soft cap is somewhere around 100-150. The difference is pretty noticable from 0 to ~100. But after that it's kinda meh. If you're running group play with a super high rarity culler, sure then go for as much as possible. But if you're playing solo, ~125 rarity is more than enough

the diminishing returns post 100 rarity are like SUPER steep. So maybe "pretty meh" is underselling it.

I mean I guess it depends on how you want to play. Like, if you have a dedicated group of people who are always going to play together, then sure I guess you could run a rarity culler if you wanted. But then whoever is the rarity culler isn't really gonna be able to do much solo. If you are all playing and sometimes group up, I'd just get rarity whenever you can. Like 100 rarity isn't mandatory, it's just something you want when you have all your other needs met, like life, res, other defence layers, etc. Generally just having some rarity on your rings and amulet are good enough.

Yeah for sure. rarity bots are something that is used for hyper-optimized sweat sessions. It's one piece of the puzzle, because you'll also want to spend a boatload of currency making sure you also have perfect maps, perfect tablets, perfect overlapping towers and map setups, team coordination, stuff like that. If omega-optimization like that is fun for you, then go for it. Otherwise, you're probably just setting yourself up for extreme burnout haha. I've been playing since 2018 or so, and I've never done any sort of aurabot/rarity culler bot setups. I just play the game to make my character strong and collect loot haha

Sorry im not entirely sure what you're asking. Like someone is telling you they are a rarity culler and want to run maps with you to split the loot? If that's the case, I'd say no, for a few reasons. One, people are out here scamming in a million different ways. Two, they probably expect you to have maps and layouts worth running. Three, even if they are greatly enhancing the loot in each map, you still have to split it, meaning your cut is going to be probably the same if you just run the maps yourself with just a small amount of rarity on your gear. As I mentioned, rarity cullers are something that can potentially be useful in dedicated groups of people who all know and trust each other. I wouldn't bring some rando into a party that's promising me a ton of loot haha
