Hi guys, I added the support gem "Poison 3" to my Dark Effigy totem. I've invested tons into chaos damage, I just find it weird that at the bottom of this screenshot, the estimated DPS of poison damage per second is so much lower than the overall DPS, anyone know why? Or if it's even worth it to use this support gem?

we're a lot closer to that in this patch than we've ever been before, the main thing is that the game suffers from very low variety early game as a lot of stuff just isn't available or you can't get the right supports or passives for until you're further in the game

Blocking was also massively buffed this patch so you might want to try greatshield build

but I stand by what I said, find a "league starter build" to get you to act 4 so you can use the auction house, and things will get so much smoother from there

if it was your damage it would say dps

it doesnt tell you the exact damage types of damage you do

Is it possible for all nodes in an Abyss fissure to produce something? Or is it randomized each time you clear and seal an Abyss fissure? I'm still unclear how this works. Most cosmetics will eventually be usable in both games. Its a shared store between the games and new items work in both games. They're porting old stuff into POE2 as they go. The only things that won't work are things that don't exist in both games, like some skill effects.

It means the floor of the mods is higher. It's not a 1:1 with mod tiers, but based on the item level needed to roll the mods

The numbers are made up, but for example a tier 3 unidentified item might have mods that require level 30 and higher

I can't tell you what is and isn't worth picking up, but I would recommend picking up every rare item in the campaign as well as every magic (blue) item that might be an upgrade for your build

If you're feeling undergeared I'd even pick up white items with bases you need

Trans a white item. If it hits a good mod, Aug it. If it hits a second good one, regal it. Repeat with exalts

you can fix virtually any campaign build problem with some basic crafting

High tier mods are never guaranteed

No guarantee. Imagine identifying 100 tier 2 and 100 tier 1 that both have fire resistence. On average the tier 2 fire resistence will be higher.

Honour resistance is very strong for sekhema trials and it only comes from relics

I think tier 3 sekhema is doable out of campaign if you have at least ~50% ele res, ~1.5k combined hp (pure health or health/energy shield) and had zero problem with any of the interlude bosses
if you did, I'd do some mapping first

If you think of the sekhema trials as four bits, you can have 8 different combinations. 0000, 0001, 0010, etc.

I'm not sure on controller, but on pc if you right click one of the skills on the hotbar it will bring up the list of equpped gems. You can also just press 'G' to get this, but not sure about controller.

I got this for one exalt so it must not be a super valued item but I think it can be really good for me, I've gotten my start of recharge to 2.78 seconds and plan to go lower. you need to move a certain distance, which isn't a problem for my setup
all the gems are like that, a very strong upside but niche use

you should rush getting your atlas points as fast as is reasonable for your build
so if you see corrupted nexus nodes do them even if you're on t2-3s
you'll be on higher tiers naturally by the time you get most of your points
