Silly question, does Frozen Locus just not have an "Always Attack Without Moving" option?

its movement feels weird to me, I tried out disengage and was having the same issues, but Disengage has the option and fixed it to work exactly as I expect

I'm sure it wasn't a priority. But they renamed a bunch of stuff for consistency, clarity, and to fit in with the changes to mechanics. Like adding the elemental infusion mechanic so they had to rename the infusion supports.

Am I doing something wrong? every attempt to use the Tame Beast on any Rare monster with the Beast tag has resulted in nothing happening, aside from my mana dropping when casting, and an animation playing around me.
