Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure you're as decently geared as you think if you're stuck on jamanra for days

Decent gear means:

1. Up-to-date weapon with loads of damage (and quality/damage runes, if possible)
2. Boots with movement speed
3. Equipment with as much maximum life and resistances as possible
4. A life flask that's up to date and has two good mods
5. Resistance runes on as many pieces as you can fit (without overcapping resistances)

Also it's very hard to judge the classes vs one another for early game. All classes have access to all skills and gear. I'd agree that some skills are worse early on, and maybe some that don't go well with classes early on, but "Worst early game class" seems pretty subjective

Weapon swapping is can be* really strong, but usually for the tree swapping. I used it for speccing into a bunch of curse nodes, laying down a beefy hypothermia, and swapping back to my bow

You'd be up the creek without a paddle if you tried ED/contagion acolyte, imo. Acolyte can work decently well with any hit build, I'd say. Extra well if you use an attack

1. Ascendancy skill slots are dependent on character level... 4-link is lvl 40, 5-link is lvl 65, 6-link is lvl 90
2. Weapon skills slots are dependent on skill level mentioned on weapon... lvl 12+ skill is 4-link, lvl 16+ skill is 5-link, lvl 20 skill is 6-link

Secondly, when you say "Second trial of the sekhema", are you doing a two-floor sekhema? Or a three-floor to try to get your 5th and 6th ascendancy points?

id aim for around 800-1000 life and having good fire and lightning res will help with surviving some of the attacks

chaos res isnt as effective as armour because hits that apply poison do mostly physical damage, so if you mitigate physical damage the size of the poison is smaller

i wouldnt go out of your way to swap out all your gear for armour tho

To do further ascendancy trials you just need to go to the trials themselves. The cruel quest is bugged and means nothing since cruel is just filler content until the final release.

I like how fast lightning spells are and how they deal 20% more damage when shocked. But I’m struggling to proc cast on shock, it takes too slow.
Cast on ignite procs really quickly but fire spells are slow and only 2 spells are projectiles, but only one of them is reliable damage.
I haven’t tried Ice spells yet but that’s because they’re the slowest

because by default energy shield cannot recharge if youve taken damage in the last 4 seconds, and every time you take damage resets that timer

evasion is useless without enough life (or energy shield) to survive any hits that do get through, because of the way evasion works its guaranteed that hits will get through eventually

it also only works against projectiles and melee strike attacks by default

Yes. There's no gear worth hoarding unless an alt might use it. Disenchant, salvage, or sell.

Worth it depends on your build, how much you're using weapon set skill points, and if you can find two sets of weapons that are good enough.

A vendor in each town does it. Salvage anything with sockets or quality, disenchant or sell other stuff.

quick question about the pathfinder, hes more made for bow stuff right? so i dont really have to keep any other weapon right? i got no clue if theres a tier list of some sorts where lets say the bow is a top tier weapond but the club isnt or smth like that

There is nothing bow specific to the pathfinder.

Ascendancies are weapon agnostic by design.

And yes, the ranger starts with a bow and can easily use bow skills, but people have been going into the deadeye ascendancy for spell builds. It's all about what you can make work. Mercenary uses crossbows by default, but the witch hunter ascendancy has things that are useful to pretty much any hit based build.

Agnostic means it's not specific to one thing. Ascendancies are subclasses like the pathfinder and deadeye, yes. Deadeye gives bonuses to projectiles. But it's any projectiles. Bow skills, spell skills, spear skills, whatever.

How common is elemental resistance on monsters in the campaign? Do monsters only resist elemental damage if they explicitly say so in their tool tip?

You lost 10% at the end of every act to make sure you're paying attention to your gear and because higher stats roll on items.

Hey beginner here, im looking for tips fighting Act 2 final boss Jamanra, I feel like im dealing no dmg at all (electric & fire sorc build sadly) and fights are taking way too long. At this point I already memorized all his moveset but during phase 2, theres too much clutters going on and I often get hit from something outside of my screen.

Is this normal? Will every boss fights from later on follow this exact template where i have to respect my build?

yes the usual things goes - is your gear okay? weapon with good spell damage? lightning resist okay? How about try other spell see if it is more effective for bossing, have any uncut gem available?

decent, but will still check vendor / drop often see if there better wand + shield combo instead of staff.
also 33% res is low, will always recommend to try cap them (75%) so you take less damage

get to 5 digits first, then maybe it's start to be useful. Even a glove can roll 800 alone...
when in early game we do not care about such stat, it's unreliable.
focus in life and cap resists, block chance if you ever use shield.

what you you means there? 🤔 in normal situation, rare item can have 3 prefix 3 suffix. Hold ALT when viewing tooltip will show you the tier marking at the right side of each modifiers. Some modifiers are written as 2 lines of text, the tier marking is good way to tell in that case.
