Mobs in the starting area hit for 50% hp, my first skill hits for about 25 to 30% basic attack hits harder. Literally explains how the games gonna pan out and I'm good on that. I'm not running through the campaign twice while white mobs are as strong as the 0.1.0 yellow mods.

Socket gem. When gem is socketed you can see monster types on their health bar. Need to find a beast type monster that is rare. Use skill on monster to send Wisps to it. Kill monster before Wisps expire, 8 seconds it looks like at level 1. Gem turns into summon companion of that beast.

Contagion is simply the best way to spread, especially as packs get bigger

and if you get good aoe on contagion it can even chain between packs pretty often, especially if you lead pack into each other
