sure, you can get tha unique jewel with gain % of damage as lightning damage and you can get a similar passive or instil it on your amulet, also use voltaic mark or whatever it's called if you can get that passive that enemies with a mark take 10% increased damage

and if you use a crossbow you can have rings with lightning damage

and maybe some passive with increased shock chance if oyu want

hiding filtered ground items is just solid for your performance. It just stops hidden items from rendering. You can still hold alt and show their nameplates and pick them up if you want

if you're stuck on draven, I'd wager it's because you don't have movement speed on your boots, you're not collecting his green ghosts before they get to him, and/or your gems/weapon are set up in a suboptimal way, lowering your damage.

Movement speed is incredibly useful, so most people will prefer to get it over any other stats.

sadly hardcore is not a very large group in poe2 so I don't know of any sites with dedicated hc guides. I usually just add "hardcore" to the search and hope for the best. But typically if you're familiar with the game enough, you can tinker with a build to make it more hardcore viable at the cost of dps

Imo, you don't need a build guide if you're willing to read a lot. Read skills in their entirety. Hold alt and click on underlined keywords to read more about them. That alone should give you an idea of how to come up with the skeleton of a usable build. Also read https://discord.com/channels/174993814845521922/1328202289755983932 for tips on gearing during the campaign.

You only get to experience poe blind once and I recommend not squandering it

The funny thing is, reading a ton is unavoidable whether you want to go in blind or use a guide. If you want to understand the nuance, you're gonna have to read it. One just requires dramatically less active thought. I don't think I could recommend a blind playthrough to a casual gamer.

Just remember passives don't affect minions unless it says minions or allies. And uniques (orange) items fill specific roles and give you something you cant get anywhere else. You need to decide if whatever that is is actually useful to you.

Some games are basically just "higher gear score/rarity so it's automatically better." POE isnt like that. You need items that benefit what you're trying to do.

if you have sockets add some res runes. You also get a lot on jewelry and belts

but every piece should have some kind of resistance

I would start by reclaiming and then re-equipping it. Make sure it goes into the first slot and not the second, and that it's actually showing up. If you have multiple you can equip one, it will slot, and then equip another, it will not slot. If you then remove the first one that slotted, the second will not actually be equipped or working from what I can tell. So maybe this is a possibility.
