Because i thinnnk, using abilities of a diff element guves u 12% increase in damage for short while, i just dont remember where it came from, passives or skills

I usually tell people that if you're heavy on dots, it's just fine. Fires fast, okay damage, applies appropriate debuffs automatically.

If you're not heavily invested into chaos dots... you will be sorely disappointed.

Depends. If you go archmage you need significantly more spirit, then there is one buff skill that kill your minion to gain more spell damage, also give you more spirit to reserve other things like blasphemy go triple curse, withering pressence, arctic armor... Going sceptre for chaos build is fine. You do what you prefer, dont need to follow exact other peoples setup. You got too much dps already.
