Witch is a necro by default. But with enough effort each class can theoretically be.

I normally am part of the "class agnostic" group (this game lets you play anything with anyone), but it's especially true here.

I don't think there are any particular ascendancies that lend themselves strongly to a pure minion playstyle.

If nothing else I would recommend starting witch, since they have access to a few unique minion boosting passives early on, which is where you'll need the most help.

Uniques are just meant to be used if the effect they provide is so valuable to your build that you'll give up the stats you could get with a rare in that slot to get it.

There are some things that people would call "leveling" uniques because they're helpful for leveling/campaign specifically.

But most of the time if you're looking to "upgrade" a unique because it's not giving you the stats you want, you're looking to swap it for a rare.

I wouldn't say that naw, no raiding etc, but there are end game bosses, maps to grind with random mobs / modifiers.

Goal is basically to make a build and push those end game maps and bosses. As they add more to end game, and more items to chase the game will evolve. Typically there are certain " events " in maps that you can do to fight certain end game bosses for loot that is super build enabling. Some people just enjoy farming bosses, some like to run people through their trials for currency, others like to sit in their hideout all league and trade, and then right before the league ends they buy a bunch meta stuff up and play around.

Certain bases are worth more, as are certain mods, you learn more about what items others are using by keeping an eye on the meta, and focusing on those types of items for profit 🙏 typically high dps weapons, items with good stats and max + skill levels etc

What build are you playing? For most bosses they can be trivialized by hugging their butt and dodge rolling.
