you might not even want to look for dps as it usually lists weapons with higher attack speed. Your grenades are largely limited by their cooldown, so you could get more back for your buck my setting it to ignore all attack speed mods

Look for gear with resists and life, look for better quarterstaves, disenchant or salvage gear to get currency you can use to upgrade or craft gear, check vendors to see if they have something decent, and make sure if you're using skills that convert physical damage to something else you're prioritizing physical damage on your weapon. Read skills and support gems and find interactions between them to weaken or do big damage to enemies.

Just from the little bit I can see on your tree you have inefficient pathing and are taking too many small nodes.
That staff is also pretty garbage. Look for one with +lightning spells and damage, cast speed. And added damage if possible.

What supports are you using on spark (both your main one and the one granted by that staff)? And are you using flame wall?

Hello All! Can anyone explain to me how do some of the support skill gems work? For instance, I can use the https://pathofexile2.wiki.fextralife.com/Bursting+Plague with https://pathofexile2.wiki.fextralife.com/Unearth but the description of the first states that it works on poison from the supported gems whereas Unearth does not inherently poison the enemies. Does it mean that in order to benefir from the former, I also have to put https://pathofexile2.wiki.fextralife.com/Envenom in Unearth?

Similarly, it seems that it's only viable to use https://pathofexile2.wiki.fextralife.com/Strip+Away if you already have https://pathofexile2.wiki.fextralife.com/Fire+Exposure slotted in.

Support gems are usable if there is any possible reality where they could work together. So yeah, you can put bursting plague on anything that hits because anything that hits has the potential to poison if the proper steps are taken
