you just can't every item can drop as 3 type normal advanced or expert which you can see in the name, with every stage the base stat increase and also the requirements but you can't do anything about that. The higher the level of the place the most likely it will be to find higher bases more consistently.

yeah the wording can be pretty ambiguous in this game so I wanted to make sure

a few things to point out, phy% increases the base numbers of the weapon so you can see it already in the flat numbers on top so those are the important stats. Secondly most skills you use have x% if physical converted to x type of damage, hence you want to have as high of base physical damage as possible the other type of flat damage aren't that good but still useful in the campaign. Last thing i'm not completely sure but stun duration doesn't work on freeze but only on the stun when you fill the bar under the health and also it's not a good stat since it's just half a second of time more when you stun nothing impressive

Fubgun and others like @azure lava Is wildly different from Raxx that goes pure lighting arrow + projectile dmg.
He doesn't even bother with Orb of Storm or elemental damage.

I'm trying to figure out if Raxx is wrong. I got his build right now up to lvl 36 and it's.. okish, sometimes a regular white mob of the bigger variety takes like 6 shots to die.

But it does chain well on large packs. But the bigger mobs like the acid big guys in the swamp in act 3 take a while to die and they are just white mobs

and in my experience lightning rod and lightning arrow are kinda clunky in how they chain

Little tip in regards to wisdom scrolls. Safe a stack in your stash. After reaching cruel difficulty you will lose access to the npc that identifies for you until you unlock him again. You will be happy to have a few scrolls saved up.

ailment threshold is in the tree, but a freeze charm (and cold resistance) are your best ways of avoiding freeze

One option is a charm that makes you immune to freeze.

Freeze threshold exists, it's in the southeast part. Elemental Ailment threshold also works.

Also, your threshold is based on your life.

And the amount of damage you take also matters, so capping your cold res and getting life are the best two ways to combat being frozen

this game's campaign is way harder than any other arpg i've played, especially act bosses. you struggled with act 1 boss? I can usually handle him fine but consistently struggle with the first boss in act 2. the difficulty doesn't let up.
