1. Only the boot evasion
2. Only my armor items evasion
3. All my evasion

that 29% increased is already included in the value at the top. Then those values get affected by all your global modifiers to evasion and energy shield, like on your skill tree

life and resistances are the only stats that matter on non-weapon gear during the campaign (Aside from movement speed on boots). That unique isn't great, but it has 26% cold resistance and no life, which beats the 21% cold res and no life on the vendor body armor, so I say don't buy it

1. "Best" isn't really a thing. Do you mean best on a budget? Best with high investment? Best map clearing? Best bossing? Best for magic find? Best in a party? Best for beginners? Best "afk" build? Best survivability?
2. All classes can use all skills and gear. In poe1, when people compare builds they don't compare classes, they compare main skills. It's similar in poe2. Most builds start with a concept or skill interaction and then pick the class that they think complements that build the best. Class is actually a very unhelpful descriptor of builds. "I'm playing a witch build" tells you far less than "I'm playing an ice nova cast on crit build".

I should clarify that those are generalizations and gear is very random. It's totally possible for a wand to be so good that it beats your current staff. Or a wand + focus can beat a staff, or a focus can have such good stats that it's more defensive than a shield

i believe you need to have some skill points aswell as weapon skill points

so basically if you have 2 skill points, you can spend 2 skill points for both your weapon set 1 and weapon set 2 for different stats

if you look top right in passive tree you click the arrow if on pc (idk console) then click the skills you want for that weapon set

for example if weapon 1 is single target you could do damage or something idk, but if your second is aoe, you could do size or something idk

It costs gold, there are no regret orbs. It's very easy while leveling, becomes a little more expensive in endgame but isn't usually too bad in my experience. It was worse at first but they lowered costs a lot in a patch.

Like I said in my prev comment, that is usually the case in these type of games but not 100% true for poe2, also seems to depend on learning mechanics early in acts. It becomes a lot more relaxed as you progress. Esp into cruel acts 1-3. Ironically they felt easier than regular.
