Chaos is a little more "poe" than sekhima, since you csn actuslly get hit.
But its modifiers are also just fucked lvls of overtuned. Its got the rng layer of stacking modifiers and you need to pick one every room. Thrn the boss is random, you can either get a chimera that just runs from you for 8 minutes, a bird thst doesnt do much besides an annoying to dodge falling rock move, or another bird thst flies around and has a 1shot tornado that has bugged out 2 times of the 4 times ive gotten the fight which made it move at lightspeed

Why do builds like Lightning Arrow or Ice Strike go for pure physical damage? I get that phys gets converted to elemental damage.. but wouldn't added lightning damage be good, especially if I have lucky lightning? The big build makers tend to go pure physical.. But then they add primal armament or whatever the support gem is that gives 25% more weapon elemental damage. Doesn't that only apply to the lightnin roll on a wep?

So its a very poorly designed slop since you can finally get the modifiers thst let you win, then you get the boss thsts like 18x harder thsn the other 2 with potential to bug out (or get the bird thst just sits there and finally get your ascendency)

if you use a vaal orb on a gem, there's a chance it can get an extra socket. Though this is not recommended since it can also make it worse, I think. It'll also get corrupted, meaning you cannot modify it further

I forgot what channel I'm in. For the campaign, you just want to prioritize life, resistances, and movement speed on gear. Ignore armor, evasion, and es. Focus on damage on the tree. Make sure your life flask is up to date with two good mods

Imo some top contenders are, in no particular order:

-Shockwave totem

My main skills are ice shot and snipe. I time freeze a boss, use barrage with six frenzies, and nuke the boss with 8 perfect-timing snipe shots which hit a tornado behind the boss and ricochet back into it again. If I'm lucky

You need to pick up armor too, identify your worst piece (the one with the least HP/resists mostly) and start using your transmutation and augmentation orbs on white armour bases in that slot looking for those stats and to replace it, regaling the blue item when you get two decent stats, or one very good stat. Check the shops every level. I would also suggest a shield, you should be able to equip one and keep your two-hander with that much strength using Giant's blood.

My current build is basically ice shot + tornado shot for clearing, then when I find a tough boss, I use barrage and snipe to one-shot it.

I use combat frenzy to amass frenzy charges to fuel barrage.

On my tree I got bow damage, freeze buildup, some mana, attack speed, skill speed, and the cold cluster at the top of the tree.

Temporal rift is insane survivability and I love it.

I also have a weapon swap with ~21 points in mark nodes to empower my snipers mark for bosses

check the world map for icons that represent permanent bonuses. If they're not grayed out, you haven't gotten them (with the exception of a few bugged ones that don't gray out)

if you want more damage, then two-handers are typically stronger. But if you want defense or a specific skill granted by a one-handed weapon, then a one-hander and an offhand might be better. Depends on builds. Scepters are basically mandatory for a lot of minion builds, for example

It's an option. Just because one option is simpler doesn't mean you can't do cool things by having other options. Having tons of flexibility and room for creativity in builds is an important part of PoE.

in genereal its just better to use 2h damage-wise anyway usually. Though you can totally make 1h work for stuff, especially spells with foci, or melee with a shield if you really need defenses.

In poe1 you could dualwield wands and that was meta spell levelling. Kinda get why thats gone with the power they gave to wands but i miss it already

Your level doesn't matter here, loot is just based on the zone level. It is extremely unusual and possibly unintended that an item can drop with higher required level than its item level

was going to say, wind dancer is solid and generic for any build. Overwhelming presence if you are doing ele ailment stuff like shock or freeze or ignite. I also feel that theres just not really enough skills for all the archetypes atm. Those will hopefully come with more characters

Right now the trade site things a divine is way, way less than that for some reason, if you're looking for cheaper items specifically search for items priced in exalts

That might be your issue. As I understand it the whole point of the archmage spark build (admittedly not played it myself) is that the archmage bonus is so big it doesn't matter that spark is relatively low damage

I would recommend looking at some of your other direct damage options to supplement it.

If you're level 44, you should have some great damage options even if you want to stay lightning.
Spark should still do good enough for mass trash, but arc should do a lot better for bosses or rares

it would, you can only have 1 support gem of each type socketed on your whole character

so if you have lightning infusion supporting 1 skill you cannot socket lightning infusion into any other skill at all
