it makes u get less exp but the drops aren't affected. you can turn it off, have them kill the boss, then turn it back on if you want. but it only reduces your exp if ur in a party so even if u leave it off all the time it wont really matter

there are some permanent decisions in the game like your ascendancy, but it doesnt "ruin" your account, i mean you picked the class ascendancy at the start

It wouldn't ruin it, maybe make it slightly harder. One of the options is getting a chaos 10 resistance buff. If you take that benefit but decide to play chaos inoculation style, it becomes a useless benefit.

Hey guys I'm brand new, started a mercenary got him to about level 9 or 10. Was doing okay even though the reloading is very slow.

Now I'm in some tomb I think for a side quest and there a boss I just can't beat, well I think he's an elite, nothing I do seems to damage him plus his projectile melt me.

He has a shield and when he gets close he tries to hit me with his mace, I'm not sure if you know which guy I mean.

Should I try a different class? I'm finding the play style quite irritating with the reloading between shots

It's really early @ancient reef - Many folks feel their class is rough in the first few levels ; trust me when I say this ... Mercs can explode in power, but it might take a bit of work getting there

that kinda applies to all classes - but sometimes resetting the instance, and leveling again might help

the power increases per level are far more noticeable early on

I love that skill with she does a backflip and shoots ice in front of her, that feels really cool.

What’s the issue? You feel like you’re taking too long to kill him and getting slowly out of flask charges to heal or getting one shot, if former then yeah damage. If latter then take a look at his mechanics, he has like 3-4

Check the supports, she was just mashing buttons and the warriors do come up easily. I think she had contagion and flame wall at that point. And the snipers with gas arrow to combo with flame wall

spirit being gone is almost certainly user error, and it not being accesible isn't an issue - you shouldn't need that much spirit in the campaign, you're trying to run too many auras. the only potential issue is ranger and even then its not required
