It depends on how you're reaching that 200%. By default, characters have +100% critical damage bonus.

If you have JUST that support and nothing else, that +100% would becomes +200% so you'd go from 2x damage to 3x damage on crit

Items that aren't just their basic white versions have extra stats or mods on them. You don't know what those mods are until the item is identified. You have scrolls that identify items. Later a character will do it for free. There are no class specific items.

depends on the specifics. Two people trying to freeze/stun at the same time works great since they can both build toward that debuff. Poison/ignite/bleed, however, don't work as well since an enemy can only have one such damaging debuff on them at once. Same for damage over time debuffs like essence drain/contagion

2. Add quality
3. Use currency

That's all you can do to upgrade items you have

If you want to find better items:

1. Check vendors every level (they reshuffle their wares whenever you level up) for possible upgrades.
2. Salvage items with sockets for artificer shards. These build into artificer orbs so you can add sockets/runes to your gear. Runes can give you resists and more damage.
3. Pick up everything except for normal (white) items that take up more than 2 slots. Once you're done salvaging and looking for upgrades, I'd sell everything else for gold. Be sure to identify everything for free at the hooded one, first.

All classes have Good and bad builds for beginners. If you want to follow a guide, I'd check out maxroll. I'm pretty sure there's at least one beginner ranger guide on that site.

If you're not following a guide, all classes can be solid or terrible depending on how they're built

Yeah, maps can drop way more loot than acts, especially high tier ones with the right setup and rarity gear. Dropping lots of divines isn't realistic in campaign.

It can be better. Level requirement doesn't do anything but be a requirement. Higher level items can potential roll better mods and usually have better base stats but a lower level item that rolls good mods can still be better than a higher level one that rolls bad ones

a mod on an item with tier 1 life, as a made-up example, might be able to get anywhere from 5 to 10 life on it. Tier 2 might be 11 to 20, etc.

the tiers an item can have is based on its item level (closely tied to the level of the area where the item dropped). T1 life can be any ilvl, t2 life might be only on item level 4+ items, etc.

So if an item has a high enough ilvl, it can roll any modifier that meets that ilvl requirement (including lower tier one).

So a high ilvl item can roll mod from tier 1-6, for example (or higher, idk what the highest tier of mods are). And after it rolls a mod, it then randomly rolls the specific value within that mod.

Example:

Item level 50 gloves drop, they could roll loads of mods, we'll say up to tier 5 armor, tier 4 life, tier 3 resists, etc.

The gloves end up having tier 2 life, which could roll from 11-20 life. They end up with +14 life in the end (a tier 2 mod, which is pretty bad considering the gloves COULD have had tier 4 life (we'll say 35-50 life in this made up example)

Hey, i've been playing this past days and i just hit the map "apex of filth" and every time i load into the map i crash. It used to crash my entire pc to the point i had to unplug it but since i changed to vulkan now its just the game.

Is there a known fix for this problem? Ive seen more people talk about this issue and i have the specs to run the game. Right not its literally unpleyeable since every time i load my character it loads apex of filth and it crashes the game.

You get an uncut spirit from freythorn area quest in act 1 or whatever the name is.

Probably not the answer you are looking for and I am not entirely sure if the following suggestion is intentional by the devs, but you can get multiple copies of freezing salvo and equip them. Each of those freezing salvo has its own independent ammuniation. So you can press 1 of them to use all charges, and then the next one to use that ones charges, and so on
