so the thing about spark

is that your tooltip dps is based on one hit per cast

but spark can hit mobs soemthing like once every 0.66 seconds per cast

so like you cast spark one time, right

immediatley you hit

then projectiles bounce around, one comes back and hits again 0.66 seconds later

and if u can extend duration u can get 3rd hit

maybe even 4th

4 hits per cast....

that means your real dps is 4x your tooltip dps or w/e, depending on how many hits you're getting per cast.

if you find items with quality or sockets on them and you dont want to use the item yourself, then salvage them

this will give you armourer's scraps, blacksmith's whetstones, and artificer's orbs

salvalging will give you the resources i just said, whereas disenchanting will give you transmute shards for blue items and regal shards for rare items

you need a specific passive to dual weild 2 hand weapons

Check chance to hit on your attacks in your skill menu. Dual wielding can be tough because it means you need to find two good weapons since attacks scale off your weapon damage. But it depends on the skill, different skills work in different ways with dual wielding.

Act 3 Sacrificial Heart: If anyone needs this info for later, I had the heart but missed the quest altar and completed Act 3. I didn't think I could get back to Aggorat so I threw the heart out of my inventory. I went back to do the quest and the heart wouldn't drop. I eventually found the dagger and altar and tried it anyway and the quest completed. I guess it counted the heart as being collected. So if you can't find the heart again just try to use the altar.

As for finding new gear, pick up as much as you can, even small white items. ID items for free at the hooded one and check for upgrades.

If an item is white but has a good base type for you, transmute it.
If you have a blue item with one good mod, augment it
If you have a blue with two very good mods, regal it.

Once you've looked through your items and have a bunch of junk that isn't an upgrade:

1. Salvage everything two sockets
2. Sell all the rares (yellows)
3. Salvage everything with one socket and/or quality l
4. Vendor everything left over

It's all RNG, so the experience is going to vary. If you tend to find a ton of exalts and aren't lacking in currency then sell rares. But if you need currency to make trades then disenchant them imo

But from the oil grenade, gas nade, then explosive nade combo i did literally zero damage and idk what to do

Higher level gems are good but you need stats on your gear more importantly than anything

And you need the right stats

If you’re following a build guide, make sure it’s not one that doesn’t really start shining until endgame

I've never farmed a single zone in ssf. All my gear came from vendors, gambling, and drops. And then almost always I add on mods with currency and/or add sockets/runes

2. Check for a magic item that has 2 affixes you desire and regal it. If there isn't one, find a magic item with only 1 affix on it that you desire and use an orb of augmentation on it. If it rolled a stat you wanted then use a regal orb.
3. If the regal orb rolled an affix you want slam 3 exalts into it.

nah usually you'd just go through zones to do the quests

top right of your screen should show the monster level of the zone you're in

you want to be plus or minus 2 levels of that

anything outside of that range and the exp penalty gets a bit steep or mobs get a bit tough

If you're new to PoE I'd recommend farming the witch in the 1st zone after the town in act 1 that gives you the cold resist passive buff until level 5

It will help you find some rares as well as get you a little over leveled for the rest of the campaign

She is always straight north of the waypoint. Take the waypoint, kill her, teleport to town, take the waypoint by opening a new instance and repeat

That 83% is an estimate vs normal mobs of your level. Bosses have way more chance to hit against you. Also evasion only works against strikes and projectiles. Aoe abilities cannot be evaded
