Heyo, guys, got a question. So far the game's language in describing skills & math has been very consistent. Which in turns leads me to believe that this curse works like exposure, detracting from the enemy resistance instead of lowering it BY a certan percentage. I believe this to be the case because of the wording and lack of indication that the lowering process is multiplicative. "-33% to cold resistance" really makes me think it's the same as exposure, 'cause the latter is worded exactly like that. Am I correct?

Sounds like you're maybe trying to get too strong gear for 1-2 exalts and should set your sites a little lower? Lots of people aren't responding and trades definitely a bit of a mess right now but it's not no one responding.

It could be but that fight is a lesson in working with a lot in tight spaces. It's pretty busy for the small tower you fight on. The radial explosion is a nightmare. Luckily, you only have to dps him to like 40% the first time.

Lightning resist is always good for that fight... also, I've seen a couple or reddit posts about Lightning Rangers having issues with the fight, several swapping to a poison build. I don't think you should have to switch, though.

no, because having 50% lightning resistance means a raw hit of 100 deals 50 damage, instead of the 25 damage it'd deal with 75% resistance. that means you're taking 2x damage from lightning. it's a big deal.

Chimera is pretty movement heavy too

you want to make sure you bait abilities into corners/small areas

if you let ice breath go off in a really big area, then you're limiting your space quite a bit
