Level them both equally for now. Later on you can easily swap the attribute a node gives you at the respec npc so no need to worry about messing it up

You can hold alt and hover over them to see what they do on their own. Your skill gems will also increase their attribute reqs as they level up, so I'd just pump into whatever attributes your gems need so you stay ahead of the curve

The top line is implicit. It's in all gold amulets. The second line is a prefix. The third line is a suffix. You can also get rarity as a suffix. So yoi could get an amulet with three lines of rarity

Playing hardcore ssf as a new player to ARPGS in general and started with monk cause all the ranged classes feel like you dont interact with as many of the game mechanics but I like casting spells so monk it is. This is my starting build, I think its nice, I really want to go for survivability since I already feel like I deal a lot of damage and bosses seem to be the only threat, so single damage and non potion or not needing to kill minions type stuff seems to be better? 1. pick up everything except for white items that are larger than two inventory slots. For everything that isn't an upgrade:
   a. Salvage items with sockets for artificer shards
   b. Sell to a vendor for gold
2. If you see a base item for a slot you don't have resists on, pick it up, transmute it, and augment it
3. If you have a piece of gear with a socket, put a resist rune in it
4. If you have a piece of gear with good life/res, artificer orb it and socket a rune in it
5. Check vendors for upgrades. If you see an item with one good mod, buy it and augment it.
6. If you're feeling risky or have extra gold, gamble at the vendor in your current town.
