they changed non-specific skills like that to not be phys skills in poe1 and I guess carried that philosophy over to poe2

which really just makes the "all phys gems" stuff only useful for phys spells

phys tag is usually for skills that have a base/added damage or conversion of a type

that might have been a more confusing phrasing

Ice wall explodes when its hp goes to 0. There are nodes on the tree that reduce ice wall life as well as a support gem that does the same thing. Those things plus more damage on frostbolt should do what you're looking for (at least more reliably)

If you know you're not going to use an item nor sell it to other players, here's what I do/recommend (in order):

1. Salvage all items with two sockets for two artificer orbs
2. Disenchants all rare (yellow) items with six modifiers for two regal shards
3. Sell all rare items to a vendor for gold
4. Salvage all remaining weapons/armor with sockets and/or quality ("Superior" items have quality)
5. Sell all remaining items for gold

some might have different opinions on disenchanting and what to pick up, it's all up to you and how you value your time

If you wanted to go really ssf mode (Solo Self found) you can also keep magic/rare weapons that are good base types. If you save up three of those you can reforge them into a new random item of the same rarity. I do that with magic (blue) and rare weapons that are good for my build. It might not be super worth it during the campaign though

uniques will have different stat sometimes but thats always random no matter where you find them , im not exactly sure what the unique is cause youll have to identify it but theres no level gate for uniques .... by that i mean the unique you found here , and lets say you find the same unique when youre level 50 , they are practically gonna be the same , each stat on a unqiue is completely rng

I also have questions about level upping skills, how do you decide when to level up when or when to keep them lower level? as I understand sometimes you dont want to level up them to keep with mana costs? for example im looking at this build https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/minion-army-infernalist-leveling-guide and it never mentions anything about levels unless I missed something

I would like your opinion. I started different classes and played up to Act 1. I even finished playing the monk up to Act 3 and would now start again at Act 1 on a more difficult level.

I've read a lot of good things about the hunter and a colleague of mine plays him too.

Would you say he's better and stronger to play than the monk? The monk is a very cool character except for his HP/armor, which goes down very quickly in close combat. I'd still like to try the hunter.

I'd also be interested in a warrior, but I barely made it past the tutorial boss and that smelled like a lot of stress and trouble to me 😅 if anyone has a build for this I'd be grateful 😀

With the mage and ranger I died straight away in the first fight against the boss from Act 2 onwards without a chance... the monk was a completely different story
