Your baseline and starting point - transmute orbs to make white (normal) item into a magic (blue) item with a modifier, then you augment that item (if satisfied with the first stat) with augmentation orb to get a second modifier. Nothing good? Disenchant/sell and get a new one. When you manage to craft a blue one that's decent for you, you can then regal orb it (magic/blue to rare/yellow) to get additional modifier and rarity increase. Very early on this should be enough to at least not struggle

nothing so annoying as having to get ammo/consumeables

there is a type of crossbow that gives more grenade projectiles so look out for those

So PoE has 3 stages of endgame, I’d say. First is early game (that’s defined as starting mapping and trying to fill out your atlas as much as possible), mid game is when you’re farming higher tier content like yellow to early red tier maps, and endgame content is when you’re starting to fight and farm pinnacle bosses. These bosses are the hardest and highest difficulty in the game. Barring uber versions of said bosses,players can elect to test their builds and power against these bosses for some sort of satisfaction or reward.

Zizaran's one of the biggest and I think he's very good, hardcore player who often plays SSF and makes lots of new player guides but also just plays a ton on Twitch. Mathil's a popular softcore one who makes tons of different builds and has been doing lots of monk stuff. ZiggyD's a good content creator who plays a lot but has a bit of a more casual playstyle than a lot of streamers. Ben is the best Path of Exile 1 player but from what I hear he's not currently a big fan of PoE2.

I am actually trying to go witchhunter with some kind of a bow build on a new char btw. It may or may not be good to be off meta. The end game is not necessarily about completing stuff in this game but is about "generating currency" so a good "meta" build will do it faster/easier.

most rangers get 20% more damage to close/far enemies ("more" damage is a special meaning, its very strong). Plus tailwind and projectiles.

Its pretty hard to get movespeed but both merc specilizations can juice damage as well
witch hunter gets "more damage" with its concentration-break mechanic
Gemling has some serious shenanigans, it just takes longer for them to payoff since you will likely need to hit endgame to leverage them

PoE2 seems to be refusing to use my GPU. Like I'm getting literally 0% GPU activity from the game at any point, the entire thing is running off of CPU.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GPU.
The only monitor I have plugged in right now is the one hooked up to my GPU.
I have both PoE files set to "High Performance" in by Windows display settings, and in my NVIDIA control panel.

Other games are able to use the GPU just fine (I run Warframe at near max settings with it).
