Artificers orbs can be put on weapons for extra stats, or on gear for extra resists

They are huge.

well you get 300 points from the ea pack, i think thats enough to get currency + map tab, which are basically essential. after that you'd want a premium tab, i like quads but they are expensive. you can upgrade a smaller tab if you want cheaper i think its 10 coins

i also went witch hunter and took the one that makes enemies explode along with the herald spirit gem thing so if you kill one and they both proc its a lot of aoe so you may not need grenades if you go that way but im still levelling so i woudlnt be able to say about crazy end game stuff haha

Hey. bit of a weird one. I'm up to the end point of Act one and have to kill count Geonor. But when I go down the elevator into the boss area nothing happens. I've seen on vids that there are 4 adds and then the boss himself. But I have none of them and my quest progress is stuck on "Seach the manor for count Geonor".
