Poe1 had stuff like +1 to gem level (allowing you to bypass lvl 20 cap if you corrupted it at lvl 20), increased quality, turn vaal (special version of skill that cost enemy kills to gain charges to use, etc.

Could also LOWER the level of the gem, lower quality, etc.

Like that weapon is great for anyone running minions but pretty bad if not. Once you learn how to weigh your skills, you can know if an item is good for you just by quickly looking at it

generally reducing resistance is really good, but the more you reduce it by the lest impactful each % becomes. Reducing an enemies redistance from 75% to 0% is huge cause thats 4x difference. Reducing it from 0% to -75% is only a 1.75x difference

The buff costs 30 spirit by default, but the support gems increase the spirit cost to above 30. If you want to use it now, you gotta remove the support gems until you have enough spirit for them. As for spirit sources, there's an optional boss fight in act 3 t hat gives you another 30 max spirit (look out for a skull icon with a plus symbol on your map)
