the tag on the skill will be spell or attack. Spells use cast speed. Attacks use attack speed. Unless it states otherwise on the skill itself somewhere, some might have weird interactions

I swear there is no balance in this game. Raging Spirits absolutely makes a joke out of the game, whereas every other skill i've tried makes a1 and a2 feel almost impossible.

My cold monk could not even get to the a2 boss because I died about 50 times, resetting every single time, in the Dreadnought.
Raging Spirits breezed through that with zero deaths and then no deaths, first time try on the boss, killing it in 1-2 min. They need to fix this man holyyyy

Hello, what should i do when im overwhelmed in minions and cannot progress in campaign? Where should i upgrade my gear how should i get perfect stats for my gear, im currently playing with a monk im lvl 33, my main spells i use is tempest flurry and stormwave +bell, but im almost at the end of act 2, was going smooth like butter throught the whole act but now at the end where the map is with the moving carts i just cant get through it, either im getting overwhelmed by mobs or one shoted by some abilities, ive been struggling here since yesterday for a few hours but i just cant defeat it. any tips on what should i do next where to get better gear when i cant progress throught campaign?

The plant give one buff right now. If you had 9 plants during closed beta test they were giving 9 buffs, which was overkill. This is confusing and I don't know the answer for sure. My guess would be that when it says "chance" in the description, that's not the best choice of words. The "chance" seems to just be "did you deal chaos damage or not?" So if the skill did Chaos damage, you get a wither. If it didn't, you don't get a wither.
That would be my guess, but just a guess.

Oh, yea, i dont think its out of minion.
There such thing as 'cast on death' in PoE1 which was actuly working with minions, by the logic here should be something similar but its not exists afaik, so the 'ice nova' would be out of ur character.
I'm not familiar with minions, but if you have some 'special minion skill' that you need to resummon 24/7 you can put in here for example, so when some skelletons dies, you will summon some other thing.

Attributes (str/dex/int) give very minor stats like small amounts of life. They aren't as powerful as in games like diablo so most classes dont stack them.
They purely serve the purpose to meet item / skill requirements to use.

Depending on your damage type / types of skills you are using, they will require more of certain stats. It will be very easy to keep up with stat requirements. Super endgame you can get rings with ~30ish to one or more stats if needed. Every travel node you take on the skill tree gives +5 to an attribute of your choice

Alright so I'm ENTIRELY new to this, I've only played PoE1 casually maybe 10 years ago, and I play Diablo games sometimes.

I'm finding Mercenary very clunky starting out, and wanted to get some input on if I'm doing things wrong?
My biggest current confusion is over their skills, and how reloading the different ammo types interacts. Say starting out, my very first possible combo is the Frost based ammo, that can freeze targets, and the ballistic ammo that shatters frozen targets.
So, clearly I have to use the frost one until something freezes, then swap to shatter, right?
But the ammo auto-reloads itself. So if I just froze a bunch of them, I just wasted mana and time reloading another frost shot, after which I have to waste more mana and time reloading into the ballistic shot, and THEN do the combo, and go back again. Is that intended? Am i doing something wrong? That's an uncomfortably extended time reloading and wasting shots/mana/time to swap around.

There are passive nodes that increase reload speed, give you a chance not to consume ammo, some support gems that help also. I put double barrel on my shattering shot. Huntress also isn't released yet so it must be a different one.

That doesn’t matter. Partying is harder than solo and his attributes likely will be descaled when joining your instance but I’m not positive if that’s in rn.
