I'm not sure how to check that, but I'd say probably since it's the same skill, so if you add up the flat cold damage it'll be less than that overall, but I'm just confused of how 6-10 added cold damage can make that much of a difference. I remember someone saying that the added cold damage serves as base damage, I'd guess (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that it's for freeze buildup or chill magnitude or something modifiers, and that may be why it'd make that much of a difference, but I'm not sure

weapon skill points are really weird. The easiest way I have found to get my head around them is to imagine that when you get 2 weapon skill points, you get 2 passive skill points AND 2 "weapon swap points" and the weapon swap points ONLY mean "how different can this tree be from the other tree". So if you never touch the 2 weapon swap trees at all, you are not missing out on any passive points. The only thing they're for is letting your 2 trees be different

Oh yeah, that guy is a pain. Kill the guys on the cliffs, and just dodge him. that boss is basically a skill check. PoE 1 and it looks like PoE 2 is full of bosses which have certain attacks you just have to dodge every time. thats just how they are designed.

read it more closely.... it says modifiers to spell DAMAGE, ie "increased spell damage". Modifiers to spell crit are modifiers to spell crit, not spell damage. If that seems weird, welcome to poe lol
