yeah, as long as they have a place in poe 2. Like if you have a stash tab for a mechanic that isn't in poe 2, it won't transfer, but everything else will
For me i just dont like going to a player hub and seeing everyone with some insane glowing store armor
having people with that on minute one is weird
but its f2p so..
is there any classes in poe 2 that have the same vibe as magic swordsman
Taking a step back, every class in poe can use every skill, every weapon, and ever armour in the game. So ultimately it would come down to what you want to build yourself.
That said though, swords and sword-related skills aren't in poe 2 yet, and will be coming most likely with the Duelist class. We've only seen a literal split second of duelist in poe 2, and in that clip he was using a fiery sword attack. So I'd say that, down the line, you'll be be able to do that.
https://youtu.be/Go4ykizk_Uo?si=_CtgfMLBpj0FYf4z&t=30
Here's that duelist clip I was mentioning.
oh they look cool
Whats temporal rict
temporal rift let's you rewind time to the state your character was in like 10 seconds ago
Could i stack bleeding damage by just going after physical damave in the tree?
Also i read somewhere there may be a way to make bleeding do the same damage always as it would do when tbe enemies running
I get it serenity its scaled from ur hit but yea
%
are you asking about poe1 or 2?
How does temporal rift look? Juwt instant 4s back same location?
This is about loe 2
2
in poe1, there's a thing called aggravated bleeds
Sorry for questions serenity. Do you think itll be hard to get armour in the north end of the tree in poe 2?
Like do they rely on other defencez?
Becauee in poe 1 you could just armour up
Aura up Sorry
Etc
are the league mechanics also available if you create a private league?
yes afaik
idk how defenses will be balanced in poe2
probably
the initial hit that inflicts bleeding will have an impact on the damage of your bleeds, so scaling "physical damage" isn't wrong, but ultimately you'll also want some source of "increased damage over time", or "increased physical damage over time"
can we send info abt act 1 or nah
what kind of info
like the fextralife act 1 walkthrough
or is that considered spoilers
well they are available so im not gonna hold back
but since its spoilers im not sending

i'm not seeing any walkthrough. all i'm seeing is the fextralife wiki vandalized lol
all u have to do is go on revisions
and find one before it got rekt
i have the act 1 walkthrough i think ascendencies skills one
and im checking the other ones
Apparently Fextralife posted walkthrough of act 1 and 2 with all bosses names and all their moves explained and even more stuff on their wiki + some pinnacle content names and stuff but now it got vandalised
i dont think they have act 2
i only have act 1
well, don't post anything here
yeah dw
No idea, just reading Twitter about the stuff as I want to go into PoE2 fresh and make my own build
yeah its literally the WHOLE act 1
they were given a review copy which is why they have info for their wiki. but i heard they're not supposed to put out guides until the 6th
yeah miscommunication stuff but people be overreacting lol
ive seen people act as if they are dying irl
tbf, fextralife already has bad rep
truuee ive seen people talk abt it but uk if GGG didnt say themselves that it was their fault i would find the reactions a lil bit more understandable
but if the mistake is in GGG the reaction is crazy lol
people are also starved for poe2 content
i am too we all hyped but like the reaction are sooo weird
its a video game at the end of the day
that people are excited and passionate for
just looked at PoE 2's requirements, hope it'll run fine in end game maps 😭
sorry
I haven't really seen much of the reaction outside of a couple of people here talk about it. But I think outside of viewbotting drama, I think the core issue is that fextra is notorious for making a ton of blank wikis the second a game is announced so they get early SEO, then try to keep it afloat by filling pages with bunk info and pumping out quarter-baked "builds" to keep pages updated.
In and of itself not the worst thing, but if a ton of new players or people who are considering buying the game think that this is the main source of info, they're likely gonna get a ton of bad stuff. It was an issue for a long time in the souls and elden ring build maker spaces
also something about embedding that made people hate them more
ive seen poe twitter community is in SHAMBLES
😹
but i do understand the fextralife hate
eh people are passionate, i dont blame em

Essentially viewbotting.
yeah, just saw lily explain it
They've also broken NDAs on numerous occasions across plethora of games
but they just keep getting away with it
Hey guys, new to this series, obviously poe2 isnt out yet but how does the the series play in 4 player co-op? Do enemies and difficulty scale or will it be braindead easy?
Anyone want to play poe 2 with me
devs said the game is balanced with solo and party play so neither has an advantage
i'd assume it scales similarly to the way PoE1 handles it, which is described here https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Partying
tldr: yes, it scales
it is gonna scale a bit differently
obviously not exactly the same. but I would assume the same things will scale, just with different values
Ok so guys, having not played Poe before do you think for a player like me, Poe 2 will have a good onboarding experience and will it be playable and complete enough to be worth it on early access
poe2 will be a lot more accessible for new players
complete enough is up to you. to start, we'll only have half the classes and 33% of the subclasses
and half the campaign
we will have the end game tho
but jonathan said the game is like 80% there
Will there be just a continuous season during the early access?
i personally don't know. they might've said something about that
Most people say the minute to minute gameplay alone should be worth it. Guess I’ll see how it goes the first few days/weeks. always liked the idea of playing Poe but watching and reading guides made me feel like I would have decision paralysis or would just be overwhelmed with all the systems, external tools etc.
i'd suggest just going in blind
Very interesting. No more stun or freeze treshhold.
Anyone have any idea how this build up will work?
I didnt likw freeze but now maybe
For how long will bosses be immune after freeze?
(i am going through your changes link)
all enemies have a stun metre (you can see it under their health bar) that builds up
i think freeze works the same way
Yea ir says bosses , not mobs have a n immunity period
After
Very cool chamge though.
Seeing the boss turn to a block of ice will be funny
I dont know their capacity to buildup though. But i was kinda shocked seeing a boss get stunned by someone last week in poe 2. Cant recall that from poe 1 but the animation may have changed aswell
stunning bosses isn't much of a thing in 1
Ah then i was right about that one
I dont think this is updated though. Logging out or disconnecting gives you the option to return as it was left in or return to town when reconnecting.
Pretty sure heard jonathan say, logging oit returns yoj where you are
Enemy skills no longer have a distinction between attacks and spells. To ensure visual clarity, players won't have to guess what is a spell and what is an attack. As a result, all monster skills are affected by evasion and accuracy, and spell suppression no longer exists.
Whar does this mean for DOT? Sorry still dont really understand
If the hit misses you cant apply DOT, ground effect can't be evaded. Is that right?
in poe 1, damage can be dealt as and attack, spell, dot, or secondary
in 2, they're combining the first 2 (no idea about secondary)
Okay. Am i right in what I said above?:
ground effects can't be evaded or blocked
Oh and does it only count for monsters or both ways
only for monsters. players still have spells and attacks
So you have no idea yet how to survive secondary
I suppose secondary is like poison, bleeding or maybe not even bleeding?
secondary still deals one of the damage types
bleeding and poison are dots
i don't think enemies have secondary damage source
just players
armour only affects physical hits
And chaos res doesnt affect poison?
How to handle a strong bleed then
Yes ans try not to move right?
Or something
Sorry writing it all down trying to learn
that's a bad way to deal with bleed. better to just get rid of it with a flask
it is affected by physical damage reduction
in poe 2, you can't be bled unless you take damage directly to your life. So if you have ES, you won't be bled
oh yeah, and bleed bypasses es
in reference to CI, viper said CI is a defacto bleed immune since you're basically expected to have a ton of ES
Hey guys
Does anyone know why I can't continue?
This is the second time I try labyrinth and I get stuck
I did the switch puzzle and the secret room
not sure if there's anything more I need to do
I'll point out that you should be asking this in #1┃new-player-in-campaign-help , not poe2, but have you found and fought Izaro at all yet?
Oh shit I'm in poe2 sorry mb i thought I was in poe1
No stress. This channel's empty til the end of the week anyway 🙂
Do you guys think a 3060 TI will be good enough to run POE2 on high settings at 144 fps
Some dev said their 2080 super was fine running the game at home, dunno what FPS values but
on 1080p, probably close to that yeah
Any idea how important the CPU is
suna (ggg dev) mentioned the game is less cpu intensive than poe1, so that's a good sign
I'm curious, did any of the interviews or dev talk confirm if you could do ascendencies as a party, and all ascend at the same time?
doubt it lol
i was wondering if someone might be able to explain to me how the interaction with minions works regarding support gems and the damage they do, for instance would something like this be damage that the minion is causing (gets more damage from minion passives) or my own character and the passives i have
Like would this actually even interact with the above
If it is based on the players passives im guessing it could have its crit increased
I believe controlled destruction wouldn't work with minion instability, as their explosion isn't a spell
minion instability would only deal more damage with life to minions
ok interesting, would it technically be somthing the minion is doing?
i guess its too early to say
really just confused about if passives apply
a common misconception with minions is that they're related to spells. But you should picture minions almost like a 3rd type of damage besides attacks and spells
thats the strange overlap though, like if a minion is its own entity, and this support causes the minion to do damage, would minion damage passives add to it
i think i remember it being mentioned you can ascend together, but idk if it was clarified what happens if someone dies
i think everyone who lives gets to ascend
instability will only do more damage the more life a minion has, as instability is itself a support. So you can't really support a support gem, ya know?
i guess but like if i had a spell that caused me to do an aoe spell and i added like a elemental modifer and i had a elemental damage modifer passive surely that would increase its damage
yeah any spells that you yourself cast can be supported with controlled destruction
but for minion stuff, you generally need minion-focused supports for them
yeah like say i took a 10 percent minion damage increase
passive
on the passive tree
technically that should increase any minion damage
Right yeah. stuff that effects minions needs to directly say that it either says minions, or in some cases "allies near you"
so in your eyes would somthing like minion instablility increase the damage caused by 10 percent ?
if i had that minion damage passive
No
because its specifically a value of its life
So minion instability is a support in itself that does specifically what it says
correct yeah
but while the minion is alive, it the passive will affect it
i guess a secondary question would be, would that damage cause life leech,
probably not hey because its the minion
minions are confusing
I'm not 100% sure, but I would very heavily lean on no in most scenarios, unless there is something that specifically says life leech from minions to you
Yeah they are haha
I wonder how good Acolyte Monk will be with the mana leech tank build, lowkey seems bait seeing how everything is set up so perfect...
Just easiest to remember that minions are not you, you can almost think of them as NPC players around you. So like if I was in a map with you and I did damage while you had leech, you wouldn't get the life
yeah cool that does make things a little easier thinking of it like that
thanks for the follow up - hope so, got people coming over for the launch - hoping we can do this together 😄
Yeah you're basically making little npcs around you, and the supports that are attached to each minion determine their power. After that, they're just their own little guys
What time and zone is POE2 gonna be released Friday?
faq has the exact time for your timezone
Has anyone seen how much health zombie minions have or any minions for that matter?
🤷♀️
it all scales with gem level, passives, and gear
there's no like, universal number
Oh fantastic that's great to know
Does anyone know how GPU intensive POE2 will be? I know it'll def be heavy on the CPU but curious regarding if I need a good GPU too
Here are minimum and recommended specs
Although might still get choppy on high intensity stuff in endgame with recommended. But we don't really know for now
Yeah cause I remember a dev saying it was running ok on their home setup that uses a 2080 super. I'm mainly just wondering if it is worth for me to upgrade from a RTX 3060ti to a AMD 7800xt for POE2 if I'm going to be playing in 1080p/1440p. I want to be able to play in high graphics with 144 fps+ but don't really have anything else to go off of. I already bought a AMD 7 5700x for a cyber monday deal so I wanted to pair a good GPU with it but I'm not sure if its worth upgrading my GPU as well
I mentioned it to someone else. But I wouldn't go spending a bunch of money for a theoretical potential upgrade for a single game. The only time I would upgrade parts is if it's like, actually really needed. If you're playing games or rendering stuff and it's noticeably choppy or slow, then consider it. But at the very least I would say wait and see if it performs well enough for what you have
poe 2, while it looks incredible imo, isn't some like mega release that tests the limit of hardware. It should run fine with what you have
If you're already in the market for something new and have a ton of cash to blow, then sure go for it. But I wouldn't rush it for poe
oh... poe 2 is just a single game for you?! Blasphemy
jk ofc
I've checked the tree (not all of it is out yet) and i'm curious why half of the melee nodes are about stun...
Stun is confusing to me
Stun treshhold. If i have 100%, does that mean that i will stun enemies with a 100% chance?
stun in poe 2 is something that builds up
stun threshold is how long it takes you to get stunned
Add x elemental dmg support gems won't change Spell/attack tags right?
like adding Fire dmg to Unearth won't turn it into a fire spell, right?
right
damn, there goes the dream of unearth into raging spirits 😄
does anyone know how this works, i saw a similar skill that allowed you to actually socket the abilitys into the skill as if they were supports reckon this is the same ?
that should be a meta skill, yeah
awesome
Just so im not being an idiot every class can use 9 skills?
did they say the skill limit?
9 skill gems. You can additionally use skills from gear and ascendancies.
awesome good stuff
gemling legionnaire also can get 3 extra
Evasion cannot dodge area of effect/unlockable skills, unless the Acrobatics keystone is allocated.
What are "unlockable skills"
Does anyone know by any chance know what skill this was or if it was in PoE 1? Someone said a skill gem but is there no faint idea of what it's called? I time stamped it here, it's that red slam. he did it a few times https://youtu.be/ZpIbaTXJD4g?t=4704

i believe thats fist of war support on earthquake
ty! someone earlier said it was in PoE 1, i hope it comes to 2 it just looked visually really cool. Like some phantom slamming for u
Are wands still a thing? As sorcsress specifies "staves"
They are. Where does it specify that?
weapons are usable by every archetype
https://i.imgur.com/BwJNwZK.png shoutout to this random legend gifting me heaps of currency to get me started as a newb
hope he sees this somehow
how many flasks are there
Oh okay thanks
charms have replaced utility flasks
more like automated flasks
they trigger in response to certain conditions, and can have extra effects crafted on
they gain charges like flasks
like a freeze immune charm that activates when you get frozen
I have extra keys from the big supporter pack, when I give them away does that player also need to get a Steam key from somewhere? Or will that key work for the steam client download and EA access?
once a person has an EA key, their account can access a steam and/or epic key from their profile on the website
Where does that person enter in that key I gave them to access the steam / epic key?
Perfect, thank you!
if i bought the EA on steam can i still play using the standalone client?
you should be able to
I have a few question:
- 1: How many skills can I bind in game at the same time? I saw 5 + right click + middle mouse.
- 2: If you play WASD, do you get left click as a bonus skill bind?
- 3: Do ascendancy skills needs to be in the 9 skills gems slots to be used?
- 4: For example, can I have 9 skills slots with support gems on them, plus temporal rift/time freeze (binded to two keys), but with no support gem on them and still use all of it?
You get left click as well if you're using wasd. Additionally you can also get more skills by "shift+e" , "shift+q" etc.
Yes, left click should be a skill with wasd
Yes probably
Yes? Don't see why not
Hi, about attributes. What do INT STR DEX scale ? I only found poe1 stuff
Ascendencies should not count against the 9 gem Skills
because you could fill the gem slots before ascending
So you mean, ascendencies skill get their own gem skill slot?
Or They're still usable outside of the 9 skills gem slot, but can be slotted in for support gems?
they are direct skills. I doubt you will be able to support them
you can support ascendancy skills
you can but you don't need to. Is that the nuance?
"Skills do not have to come from a skill gem in order to have support gems socketed. Default Attack and skills granted by items or Ascendancy passives can be socketed with support gems. "
Where can I see that information?
but they say "ascendancy passives" "not Ascendancy skills"?
skills granted by ascendancy passives
Hmmm! Thank you!
Last time it was answered (to my knowledge), these were the stats:
i just got the 3rd party key code for steam at poe site
do i enter the code at steam activation product
yes
so i just activate it what did it even do?
just to clear up i bought the EA from steam
EA access is unlock from the website only cus its tied to your account
the extra key they give you for steam or epic is to unlock the client to be able to login
standalone dont need that but if you playing on those 2 stores you do need them
nah
maybe couple of hours before launch for preloading
that's how they usually do it for poe1 leagues idk for poe2
perfect thanks
its base on skills
not weapons
so if there is a skill that throw your weapons then it'll work on all weapons that fits its tags
Oh. Is there like a tag that you can easily find em all?
idk have to wait until the game is out first
and they will still add more skills into the game so
on ea launch i doubt there will be any melee throwing skills
the only melee weapons will be quarterstaff and maces
i guess you can throw a hammer
Is it projectile / melee
hammer of the gods?
it drops from above
Worth mentioning that the marauder, a class that isn't out yet but is coming, is supposed to be focused a bit around throwing axes. Whether that's his entire class identity is yet to be seen
marauder throwing axes is a new thing to poe 2. I would expect he's likely going to get a ton of brand new skills
yay for viking
He doesn't have any skills out yet. All we know about marauder and axe throwing is that it was mentioned at exilecon once, and there's a 1 second clip of it haha
melee is for gems that hit their target with a melee hit, so not throwing it
Ice Spear and Storm Spear are probably the only weapon throwing skills shown so far. Obviously tied to a weapon that isn't in for EA launch. Your searches are just going to find other melee skills that shoot projectiles.
https://youtu.be/Go4ykizk_Uo?si=z7t7mz0f_3Rys77f&t=35
Here's the clip of the marauder if you want to see it. And it was mentioned in, I think, the item design talk at exilecon it was hrishi who was like "oh, and axes? you can throw them now" lol
Thanks rhat was good
U too calulrme
Yea that would be cool. Also wanted javazon but also not yet
Impatience. Haha. Nah joking. Would be coll though
Yeah something tells me we're all gonna have our hands full for the first month or two of the game anyway haha. sooooo much to explore
guys i am new to poe ,is minion build viable all the way to endgame only worry is boss aoe wiping out minions ,haha 🙂
any suggestions
can i mix match and play "not minion" builds for bossing ?
Minions ressurrect automatically now so if they die they will get summoned again after a short cooldown
hmmm i do know that
so one imp question would be
lets say i wanna go blood witch
do i still get alternative builds thats not minions ?
that are better and more viable given the content i do
as you have weapon swap with separate skill sets, you can make one Minion and one Chaos for example
but minions should be viable all game
we don't know the viability of any build, but i'm sure pure minions will be viable
coool
i am i only concern about viability
i am not gonna be pity on other aspects as we can try so many builds but minions is true fanatasy i have been waiting for long time
so far i have seen the ability for you direct minions and group them up where u want is so good
also open chests and doors
Why are rhere no traps yet?
shadow not in yet
its all about living the fanstasy man
i was sold when i saw you can reanimate minions of yourd choice at end game
thats so cool i dont care if its not great and all ,thats real fun 😇
not yet
is the denote corpse a thing in poe too??
Yep and it was very op last poe
detonate corpse yes, but not Desecrate
And you as a minion build especially cool 🙂
hello
yo
cant wait haha
pretty sure it won't be as broken as it used to be in 1. might not even function the same way
blood mage with giga million hp and horadrim of minions to serve - FANTASY TO FULLEST
in poe 1 is it really that broken as ppl say
used to be
i was referring to my frd who play poe about d4 builds
he said i had to try in poe minion builds
Could you actually freeze opponents with a chaos build using chaotic freeze? Dont you need like a high % od cold damage
new player diving face first into the game. thinking of going monk for first play through. anything tips to maximize fun time? 👀
can't say i know of any since game isn't out yet
take it slow, explore, read your skills and passive 😄
Monks had highest satisfaction ratings in some test survey. But also most deaths. Pay attention to defenses while you hit with stick.
might have to order extra vyvanse
ooohh there's a test survey?
Not public. Just something they mentioned in an interview.
Thanks
It's a verb that references the dropping of bombs onto a certain point
Bombarding something =
a Bombard is a large caliber Old school Mortar
it's an enemy in warframe
I have discovered that poe1 patch notes for version 2.0.2 mention that the Torchoak Grove "will target an area and his minions will bombard that area." Coincidence? I don't think so!
hints from 2015
Hhahaa all I say is I love that they keep updating poe 1 aswell 🙂
Anyone has any idea what this will probably look like?
It's in a bunch of sorc gameplay. Looks pretty much as described haha
the "explosion" looks to send out little fire bolts surrounding the orb as well
Can you put "temporal chains" + "freezing mark" in gem socket of "hand of Chaluya"?
Yup. Chayula is a "meta" gem, which means that instead of only supports going in the support sockets, you can also put active abilities. In this case, curses and marks
thank you!
Does that means you need this support gem on the skill that's going to freeze the enemy?
Or you can slot it in another skill. Whenever you freeze someone, you use this skill with this support gem, and it converts the freeze into brittle?
Also would this work with a cast on freeze build? 🤔
Or would it not activate cast on freeze, and just put brittle?
It would not activate cast on freeze
👍
Am i seeing it right that ignite and poison work the same now?
Besides that poison max can be raised and can be stackable
Both 25% of hit damage
Do you guys think itd be unwise to try and make a poisoning sorceress? On that spot in the tree
they don't work same at all wdym...
Im a new player going in blind... anything i should look out for in the sense that if i F it up ill brick my character type of things?
Nah, feel free to explore and try new things. PoE2 will be a lot more forgiving then PoE1 was
take it slow, read your skills and passives.
there is not too much you can mess up.
only ascendancies
Yes that is true, you cannot change ascendancies
I think their will change this in the next weeks or months ^^
so you can only choose 1 ascendancy? and once you do there is no going back?
you can't change your subclass
from the 2 available to the class you choose onle one can be choosen, yes. and currently can_'t be changed.
not sure if they will add that later
But do note that you can change the passives within your ascendancy
Im kinda happy they didnt release all at once. Lol. This is already a lot
More content as Diablo 4 with 5 addons can do .. xD
does cosmetic in poe 1 work in poe 2
i can choose 2 classes right?
Not sure what you mean exactly.
But you can only be one class per character
like i can be a mage and warrior
like mix and match
is that a thing?
In a very roundabout way, yes. Every character can use any skill, weapon, armour in the game. But you choose a class at the start. Classes determine your starting position on the passive tree and their ascendancy
gotcha gotcha
So you can choose the sorceress and still wield melee weapons. but you'd still be locked into choosing one of the (currently) two ascendancies available to the sorceress
ahh i see ty
what are these gamemodes on poe2 i get whats hard core ? what is self found etc
what should i choose if i wanna involve in trade with others?
i am talking about poe1 i guess its gonna be same in poe2
Solo self found is essentially a single player experience. You can still use the global chat, but you are locked from trading with other players
alright
whats the cons in that ??
dont we really wanna engage with other players in game
we can still do that in ssf ?
except you are trade locked ?
No, no grouping up in SSF either
then i never wanna play that
on flipside do i get better fps and less lag from playing solo ??
the "cons" are moreso an individual challenge. You don't get to trade for the items that you need, you have to know where to get them, and how to farm them yourself
It should be noted that even the vast majority of poe players play "solo". They just engage in player-to-player trades
yaaa
i just wanna have the option to trade and play with others
i might ask same question once we actually have poe2 earlyaccess kinda confused on poe1
Right yeah then I would just play the current league, softcore, no checking SSF or ruthless (in poe 1)
leagues how they work ? is it completley new mech or map i had to explore ??
can i not take my old characters there ?
Leagues are basically the seasonal content of the game. Every new league, everyone starts from a completely clean slate and starts from scratch. Leagues also have fun new mechanics to explore. Like in poe 1, the current league is Settlers of Kalguur, which has basically a whole city-builder mechanic
New leagues happen every 3-4 months, but settlers has been extended for a while due to all the poe 2 stuff happening
yaa thats cool, so whats the benefit of having lets say day 1 character vs league new character
to avoid confusion
dont we ever play one charcter and infintely farm for upgardes ??
With the league new character you get to experience the new league and new features added
i get it with league its a seasonal mech we explore new stuff that much is clear
let me put it this way the uber pinnacle bosses they take long time to beat right so does atlas
You won't "lose" it,
It will just go into a separate EA league
You can still continue playing your old character in standard league
is stash shared across characters ??
Nah not really. People enjoy the clean slate, it's not like an MMO like wow where there is higher and higher tiers of content every new league with more and more powerful gear. Sure there is a general upward curve of power growth, but it's not like you need to go through years of content to get to the newer stuff. The longer a league goes on, the more stale and bloated the economy gets. People generally set goals they want to achieve in a league and can usually complete them before the league ends or they quit for the league. It's a pretty fast paced game once you get the hang of it
Of course
so the release itself is a new league ??
within same league, yes
i see
fresh starts give new players an opportunity to get into the game easier
i am still not clear how the longevity features like housing, atlas and pinnacle bossing like long long term content makes sense with 3 months league
How is this a thing? Wasnt it 100% chance to ignite is guarantee?
its a lot harder to catch up if you have to catch up to players who have a literal decade worth of currency saved up
just to make sure are stash and all the new goodies i find i leagu can be used by my other new charatcers ?
It's kinda hard to put into words why everyone likes seasonal content vs standard, the permanent realm. I was skeptical of it myself when I first started playing, as I was coming from an MMO background. But it makes sense once you play it. Given time and experience, you can easily complete all the atlas and bossing stuff you want within a league
it takes your current chance to ignite, and slaps a 100% more modifier to it
How does this league thing work? Is it like Diablo? When a league starts you restart, so to speak, with your characters and have to create new ones? Or can you continue with your usual character?
And hideouts do stay between leagues
yea, like diablo
your hideout gets saved so its the same design across any leagues you play
Within a league, yes, your stash is shared between all characters. But if you're in a league, your softcore stash won't be shared with a hardcore stash
i am definietly all down to play leagues and resets, its better that way, i was just wondering what makes longterm features work well " ARE ITEMS AND GEAR IN YOUR STASH SHARED or no ??
sorry i am just confused a bit haha
😇
What a lot of people do on a new league is start with a "league starter" which is basically a character who's damage can come online with no investment. They get to the endgame and do a bunch of content, and stack up a bunch of powerful gear and currencies. And then start a new character that can far exceed their league starter, but requires a bunch of expensive and powerful gear to come online
Progression speed, at least in poe1 for experienced players, is measured in days if not in hours
as for the "housing" part you mentionned, hideouts unlocked should carry over to your entire account like in PoE 1
not weeks
items in standard stashes are not shared with items in league stashes
@ember mica oh oh now it makes sense haha
well put
so we basically have much better gear and powers to defeat old content
no, not really
in the famr of league to put it roughly
The thing is, "old" content is still relevant content
same items, barring patch changes
all the characters you create in the same league share the same stash
okay now thats great
essences are very old, but they are still a very strong way to craft gear when combined with a few other methods
Nothing in poe is like, legacy stuff that people ignore. Stuff from 10 years ago is still relevant today.
i can farm for my warrior as mage then
for example yeah
so your standard stash is shared by all standard characters
and your league stash is shared by all your league characters
Not uncommon for ppl to do 1-3 builds per patch and just call it a league and take a vacation from poe
yes, 100%
and have played like a month + some out of the 3month cycle
I have this nasty habit of playing 20 builds a league
not being able to swap ascendancies in EA is gonna be painful >:|
Ofc PoE2 will be entirely new in all aspects, so this turnover rate is going to be slower.
can we see ppl in town and build if we can inspect them ?
I play like 1 build a league, lately I've gotten bored faster and faster.
I don't think you can inspect them, but you can definitely see their character
thats what the help channels are for.
have a great day guys cant wait 😭
What a lot of people do for poe 1 is check out poe.ninja, which aggregates a ton of characters over a certain level threshold, their gear, passives, etc. It's usually reserved for more experienced players, but it's kind of the easy way to "inspect" a bunch of different builds and get ideas
in poe1 there is the /whois command that basically gives you the character name's class, level and league, but nothing more than that, only useful to see what a guy in chat is playing, basically
idk if this command will carry over to the 2nd game
as long as i am playing as group its cool we are going for wombo combos baby
as Anti Cimex said, there are external websites using ggg API to export character builds onto public listing
infernal witch with poison cloud rogue my frd
or better 4 necro minion mages with all 4 stacking septre auras if its even viable
youre going to ignite all their gas clouds so idk how well that might work in practice
how many poisons theyll actually apply
bomber combo
that's like taking merc and splitting into two roles
we will figure out on the go ,i really dont know much either but i was excited to hear there are some combo potential with diff classes
no you still see other players in town. just can't interact much
that's the best thing about this new release
everybody will be on their own to figure stuff out for the first couple weeks
Yeah that's the way to go, especially as a new player, trying to overload on info before actually playing is tough enough as it is
we get to dive into the unkown, again
wait you got promoted?
seems so haha
congrats
or contrary overimformation is my fuel actually it gets me going you probably know by know i am a sweat ,but for poe 2 i am just gonna stick to my slowcooked fantasy of building gazillion hp bloodmage with an army of loyal horadrim
i actually missed the train of poe1 this time i am in it for longterm baby 😇 🫡
I thought I wanted to play blood mage, but I'm waiting to see what the other nodes are
I didn't see any minion related stuff in that ascendancy from what they teased, so I'm on the fence
yaa
Is there a group finder text channel ?
for infernal its better for minion route
i am guessing minions are their own thing
i hope we get ascendency on day
we'll see what the 3rd ascendancy is like after EA
for poe 2 theres #2┃looking-for-group
if its ever necro i am never switching builds ever haha
Omg nvm I see it now thanks
I wouldn't expect a standard necromancer ascendancy like we have in poe 1. They said they wanted specifically to avoid there being a single class or ascendancy that is the "minion ascendancy"
I do expect BM to have some minion stuff, but they didn't tease it :/
witch is almost all about minions
Sceptres are about minions
as John mentioned Infernalist seems to be more minion focussed
i was wondering what clasee is going to be most popular ??
merc
there's a huge fangirl bus full of merc wannabes
it does look interesting
you can go check out poe.ninja for that one
for poe1, yeah 👆
ohh lemmme take a look
yeah there's no single best or popular class of all time
each patch introduces new skills/builds/variety
so some things become meta for a bit, then some disappear into obscurity
deadeye was pretty popular for several leagues until they shot an arrow to Tornado Shot's knee
well that's because tshot is the build you go if you want to blast maps fast
according to this most pop is trickster now ?
well in kalguur yeah
followed by slayer
is it the flicker thing?
I haven't opened poe in months
both slayer and trickster
poe.ninja
yeah this is the longest league ever
also note that we're REALLY late into a league. Numbers skew a bunch over the course of a league
slayer goes in warrior and trickster is rogue i am guessing ?
got 40/40 1.5 months in then dipped out
trickster is kind of the rogue class
Slayer is Duelist, the counter to Merc
Shadow and Monk
dang that's one heck of a flip coin
mana-stacking monk = mank
well guess we don't know if they will be back
imagine if shadow never became a thief/assassin for hire
then we have the shadow monk, chalupa monk
edgy mank
evil avatar
so regarding classes and defences how well the so called squishy classes like rogue, sorc fair against endgame bosses in poe1 do they have dodge everything or can they take hit or two like bulky classes like warrior /?
we don't know
poe 1 i mean
we have no concrete evidence
I'll give you advice based on my fighting game experience
don't get hit
survivability is mostly a feature of builds, not classes. Ascendancies give access to some exclusive stuff.
survivability depends how you build yeah
so
With latest patch in poe1, most of the best defenses heavily leaned into south side of the passive tree
the only parameter your class affects is your starting life pool
you get a set amount of life as you level up
presumably yes
each class wants a balance of good defense, and even if you're a squishier class, you still should invest a little into basics like elemental resistances, high hp pool, layers of defenses
but it's probably not to the same degree as poe 1
ohh they got all these then
then all you gotta do to further incraese it is either get a lot of strength, or get the best life mods on your gear, or both
The "tankyness" comes in 2 forms:
- Max hit
- how many small hits you can statistically tank
Use wand and shield instead of staff, certainly takes you towards less damage and better defense. I'm not sure you even need any passive block when active block is so nice.
if you have shield and weapon it would bolster your defenses more than wielding 2 weapons
wand and shield can be played as sorc ??
yeah
There have been numerous caster builds that have had excellent ehp vs many hits, but have been worse in max hit department.
anyone can
coooool
all classes can wield any weapon or shield
Class doesnt tie you into any weapon type
the only problem would be tree pathing
because you no longer have pass through passives in the middle
cause no scion class
Game allows you to play 2h mace Chronomancer if you so choose, but results may vary
vs going with the marketed elemental spells on chronomancer
i thought he was trolling
the latter is probably more straight forward to get going.
You could play that but you'll need to figure out how to make it good. Because mace doesn't buff your spells like caster weapons can. Usually I'd expect you had caster weapon in 1 set and mace in other set, to do that.
bw bg3/poe1 and diablos they cooked the best part of them all 😇 🫡
can also be played on warrior
The location on passive tree dictates your, early game, bonuses
well historically poe lets you play however you want, however, it is not without consequences
decisions matter, essentially
Going first 30levels without good dmg bonuses probably equals to having bad time
(unless this is Blight patch winions)
was it really that bad
I think I want to go fireball/firewall/cremation route
ppl actually constantly mentions it how they used to be so broken and they had to patch it later
Can I play a pacifist diplomat who resolves conflicts with high persuasion rolls?
Lets just say MInions got 3 or 4 patches of nerfs in a row
you cannot choose to not fight
just postpone the fight till later
Like you were essentially one shotting everything with just 6L, no passive tree, no other dmg items
I think so
9 even
12 even if you're bold with the gemling
unless there is global capacity for sockets
possibly plus ascendancy skills
idk how it works, it wasnt really explained on ggg stream
I don't even know 36 unique support gems lol
how to make each skill unique while having a coherent build that does decent damage
new support sockets seem to come in versions of jewelers orbs. Like an "imperfect jewelers orb" might give your skill gem a 3rd socket. And a "perfect jewelers orb" gives up to 6 sockets
They didn't talk about it, but there's a super short clip somewhere in the big livestream that showed it
we know all poe2 support gems that were available in an event maybe 2 weeks ago. If you want to spoil yourself.
blasphemy is definitely going to be nerfed
but like how to make a build that is coherent and does decent damage while making every skill unique
only 30 spirit per curse and whispers of doom is a no brainer
guys i preorderd poe2 on xbox but didn't receive my mtx yet on poe1, idk if that's normal or no
is there a poe 2 client?
There will be a standalone client for the EA, but it hasn't been made available yet. We're expecting downloading to start a day or two before launch
Will I be able to play the campaign entirely with a friend even if it's not couch co op? (like can I invite them) or is it solo
Yes you will be able to play with them.
ty
Yes, that looks correct, since it's the same point the regular passive tree originates for that class
Thanks
instead i think
The wording is super weird..
You're right, that is a downside. But it gets you access to the Life Remnants skill, and to the rest of the ascendancy.
There may also be mechanisms at play with things like gaining damage based on the life spent for a skill, but i don't know the details
No, it's both
So i'm a totally clueless on PoE stuff, but im not getting the whole weapon tied skill system. If anyone can go any weapon what's the point if a warrior can just use any spell a mage can? Is there not a reason for classes outside base stats or am i naive
Have a look at the Bloodmagic node for the wording of something that replaces the mana cost with life costs
It was mentioned in an interview that they messed up and forgot to mention that you can also gain up to double your max life through the life remnants
Classes decide the starting point on the passive tree
That decides which kind of passive skills you get first
Class choice gets you a different starting point on the skill tree, and access to different ascendancy classes
This is generally how Poe works, 1 and 2. Ascendancy subclasses are also unique
Life remnants being little orbs you can pick up that heal you when you attack
classes just set the starting point of the skill tree and basically starting skills. and Ascendancies of course
but it is free after that
Ascendancy is a pretty major component of a build
(congrats on modship btw)
haha thanks!!
Yea cuz like if i wanna do titan warrior for the slam effects, but 2h axes can't do any slam skills then I can't really do that can I? just as an example
Also spells don't require a specific weapon
Correct.
Axe will have their own skills
well that's unfortunate
Axe and Mace used to have the same slam skills.
But you'll still be able to make a titan that uses axes, it'll just be built differently from a titan that uses maces
so im guessing "marauder" is literally just the axe version for warrior whenever he comes out? kinda weird they're seperate
You can still go titan
Because I'm sure while the ascendacy focuses on slams
It surely also has general points as well which help your build even using axe
Ye
Marauder - axes
Duelist/gladiator - sword
Ah i see. Not sure why they're splitting the marauder and warrior just weird to me but i never played PoE 1 so i cant make much of an opinion
Probably allows them to have greater variety of ascendancies
Well marauder is not confirmed anyway. it used to be the "totem warrior"
there was a video of the other classes not out yet tho, a small segment
Just curious, I'm new to PoE and I plan on doing PoE2 and I wanted to know if it was possible to do like a magic swordsman build with sorc? I know that a lot of skills are tied to weapons, but would I still be able to do magic spells while using a sword or a 2h sword, like are any skills class based outside of ascendancy or are they all tied to the weps?
Axes are being reworked to be "throwable" now. Whether or not that's gonna be their whole thing we don't know. But we do know axe throwing is a thing. And axes overall are the marauder theme
swords currently not in
yea in the segment it showed marauder throwing dual axes
unfortunately we are gonna have to wait for duelist to get swords. So it'll be a while
You can still cast spells while using any melee weapon
But you can be a hybrid spellcaster/melee if you want
Currently , waiting on swords
But yes, you can absolutely do it
ah, alright thanks for the info homies
The weapon swapping makes it so much easier to do as well
exiles forgot the art of bladed weapons it seems
no swords, axes, daggers lol
we've almost got spears figured out at least haha
I'm very excited for their skills to come out though
is there a post yet saying what exactly made it into EA and what's not in?
I figured they were just not showing them off, had no idea they didn't make it in
If you mean classes then yeah we know the remaining 6 classes
the early access FAQ i guess
Hard to fit it all in one post. But basically what we're still waiting on is 6 classes, 24 ascendancies, 3 acts, and some endgame goodies that we don't even know yet
yeah I'm familiar with the classes, just assumed all the classes/weps we saw in some of those EA vids were all in
Huntress - Spears
Duelist - Swords/2h swords
Templar - Flails
Marauder - Axes / 2h Axes
Shadow - Traps/Daggers/Claws(?)
Druid - shapeshifting
That's basically what we're waiting for class-wise
i cant find the video that had the short clip duelist/templar/marauder/shadow/druid lmao i saw it yesterday
ahhh I gotcha
i was originally gonna do druid
"trailer three" is what you're looking for
It's in the exilecon video yeah
yeah i knew about the 6 and 2 ascendancies per, just not that the weps were tied directly to those classes that didn't make it in
but that's fine just gotta do some diff planning
ah yea it is trailer 3 yea
Yeah each class will come with their thematically-tied weapons and skills
do we have any idea how long it'll take before they add those classes?
Huntress and druid are coming soon for sure
months
They said they wanna get a big batch of stuff out every 2 months or so
But who's to say at this point
the duelist 2h sword looks tiny lol
Definitely got a ton of stuff on our plate for now, I'm sure we'll have more info on upcoming classes before we're even ready for them haha
yeah I was even thinking of doing merc with crossbow ofc and then swapping to dagger, but I can wait on that as well
I'm definitely stoked on whatever they've got cooking for shadow.
tbh they all look cool. Need to see how this weapon tied skill stuff works cuz im too used to class systems
Traps being their own base weapons is already pretty great. But I feel like they've got something cool in store regarding dagger gameplay
Shadow should have a lot of omoe wa shinderu gameplay
It kinda becomes second nature once you get the hang of it. It's pretty freeing if anything haha. From a more experienced player standpoint, you just kinda work backwards from what you'd normally do. You first pick the kinda gameplay/skills you want to use, then figure out what passives and ascendancies best suit it, then build from there
is it like, u equip skills to the weapon so when u swap out you'll have all the skills of the other?
In poe 2, you just have a menu that you socket the skills into
You basically assign skills to weapon sets
Either both
Or one of them
But yeah you don't necessarily change skills because skills aren't slotted into weapons anymore
I think that's what im trying to say. Like for 2h axe i equip skill gems to that weapon class as a whole, and same for 2h sword. so if i switch between them the skills change
Yeah so you have two sets of weapon slots you can use. You could theoretically put a quarterstaff in one set, and a sword and shield in the other. Then you go to your skill menu and say "I want to use x skill with the staff and y skill with the sword and shield"
The skills won't change.
But you can make it so that
When you use the sword skill, you weapon swap automatically to the sword and attack
When you use the axe skill, you swap to the axe and attack.
Skills don't change because you have a static number of them
For a first character, especially as a new player, I would recommend just kinda sticking with the themes that are tied to the class and go super straight forward with it. Like just use a big mace as a warrior and pick some cool mace skills whenever you get a new skill gem
Yeah I agree
Poe is a game about making a ton of characters and trying out new builds all the time. So it's not like whatever you choose first is what you're gonna be stuck with forever
I've been playing since like 2018 and I haven't made the same build twice haha.
PoE 1 seemed too daunting to me when i looked into it so i just skipped out
It has that effect on people haha. Luckily GGG has made major steps in improving the new player experience
You just gotta focus on the small stuff.
Instead of looking at the entire tree, you just look at what's your options nearby for next passive points.
Instead of looking at all the endgame features, you just play and choose to interact with what interests you
or pick a dmg type and build towards
is respeccing that big ass tree easy?
easier than it used to be in poe 1 haha
yea i heard alot of how poe 1 made u kinda locked into whatever build u were doing so i was worried originally
i like being able to just, in that moment try something new if it looks cool without having to go through leaps and bounds
Yeah they took steps to improve it with the most recent league. But now enemies drop gold, and you can just use the gold to respec your tree
You could respec in poe1 as well, just required a currency item that dropped
But yes they made it much more convenient with gold
How do you get skill gems with more sockets? Like when a skill gem is dropped as loot, or bought from an npc (is this still in the game?) how can you get more sockets on them?
You use jewellers orbs
Wait did they mention at all about the rarity of jewllers orbs? If they're as common as poe 1 or purchaseable in shops then everyone's going to have plenty of 6Ls right?
Nah, very different use so they're gonna be much rarer. And there's multiple different kinds, to give different amounts of support sockets
So the high tier ones are probably gonna be pretty rare
I see. Hope we get a 5L jewellers orb from act 3 cruel questline or something
can anyone explain the witch orb thing where you can summon a monster you have killed? is there a limit and can you have multiple
It's called raise spectre and it's in poe1 too
At least in poe 1, at the higher gem level it's possible to do multiple spectres. So possibly yeah, with a higher spirit cost
so Ash Ketchum build confirmed 🙂
I wonder if they'll have +1 max spectres prefix in poe 2
No, because spectre count is determined by your spirit
If you can afford them, you can have them
I am entirely new to POE2 so I was wondering if anyone has like a link or guide towards the game that they recommend?
Wanted to know if there's something I should be exceptionally aware of.
And about the early access pack- Is there a big difference between the 30$ and 60$ pack? I see that you get pets on the 60$ pack. Do they auto loot for you? Is there any free pet that the basic early access pack could have in the game?
The game hasn't even entered early access yet, so any guide you could find is either too basic to be helpful, or actively lying to you. There will be guides aplenty next week, though.
The mtx you get from the packs are purely cosmetic.
Pets just follow you around
As for packs, the $30 contains no extra mtx just the points. You can have a look at the shop at pathofexile.com to see what pets can be purchased with 300 points, but honestly you'd be better served saving the points for some additional stash tabs. Those can be pretty handy once you're full of loot in the endgame.
Noted- Thank you!
I am based in NA but I will be staying in Taiwan/east asia for the coming year for work related reasons. What should I do? Pretty sure Steam is not banned in the regions I am in, should I just install POE on there and choose the JP/Singapore servers? I don't want to have to play on Garena and have all my progress removed once I return.
Can I transfer my progress between different servers?
Can you just VPN and deal with some latency? That's what I would try
Assuming that's better latency than just playing on a further server
Where do I see if my region is supported? Like what about Hong Kong? I'd be staying there for a bit too
also will there be a dedicated necromancer ascendency? Seems like that's what the witch is doing, but none of her ascendancies seem to have anything to do with plagues and raising the undead.
Don't think so, they seem to not want an obvious ascendacy for minions that's the always go to pick
I'm sure there will be a necromancer - though not in EA. Gemling and Infernalist have some synergies in the meantime
There will be lots of ways to play minions, not one specific "necromancer" ascendancy
huh, I mean that's mainly what I am here for lol rip, not many games let you summon heaps of undeads
tbf the rest of cast looks fun too, especially merc
guess I'd wait for shadow
I mean, every class can use every gem and every item
I don't think you need to wait for the game to call something a necromancer for you to have fun
yeah I just want a class that specializes in dot and undeads
Check out the infernalist
seen that, kinda
turning into a demon seems cool
Tbh you can make any class do that, but as for ascendancies, not sure if any nodes have been shown buffing those
Lots of support for dot, minions, and even - you guessed it - dot minions
Hmm, actually yeah, infernalist does seem good for it, looking at the minion + minion ignite
I remember back in POE1, there's this fire skull summon thingy that's busted
kinda got reminded of that
she also has a demon form right
ty
does that have anything to do with summons? or is that it's own thng
oh that's it, ic
not sure about anything minion related tho for that form
thats all that was told about it
dec 6th, we can get all the specfic details
You'll have to wait a few days to find out for yourself
what bout bloodmage? Does she have anything to do with minions?
or is she all about HP management
ah
Gore spike is real nice
No
we know she has a time stop, reverse and plays w cool downs prob
iirc bloodmage is using health to gain health.
can go over the max hp cap & then use that to buff herself, like with gore spike
ah
sounds cool but the game play doesnt interest me that much
apparently the devs have said
that inferno is THE minion ascendency rip
No idea
Tbf the witch is the minion class.
The ascendancy doesn't matter
Ascendancy is the flavor of your witch
Witch already supports minion plenty
I mean the base flavor is necromancy with plagues and stuff
That is not what they've said. They've said there is no THE minion ascendancy, they want there to be variety in the options available for minion builds
I just got back from an event in LA where I got a lot of new information! I hope you guys enjoy the video are are excited about POE2 Witch as i am!

0:00 Intro...
a blood mage minion would be good, if we can transfer our crit chance to minions
I heard it from this guy
he said he spoke to the devs
and that's what he was told
apparently
Top comment
The amulet keystone does help a lot in giving a huge boost to minions
Maybe, i havent seen any of the leaked stuff (supports or passive tree nodes)
just what they have shown on the stream
ic ty
I would just play the game and see what's cool
I'm sure people will cook up lots of fun shit
Pretty much, i wanna try a full chaos witch build, like i did in my first blind playthrough of poe1
there's prob still a necromancer
but its not going to be entirely minion focused and has its own tradeoffs
There certainly isn't one in EA
yeah fs
druid's the only additional class that might be coming to EA right?
All classes will come to ea
Just will take time
Druids & hunteress is the 2 classes which wil be coming first to EA iirc
I see, do we know what the unrevealed classes are?
Druid, huntress, shadow , duelist , marauder, templar
also how does shadow work in POE, arent they basically assassins? They have tones of AOE I suppose?
've always under the impression it sneaks around and one shot stuff but in POE your AOEs one shot anyways
It's a mix of rogue and mage
necromancer will be in poe3
arent u allowed to select multiple classes in poe2?
You can create many characters, but a character is a single class
didnt they say u can multiclass?
That's not how poe works
Class simply determines your starting location on the passive tree, and the ascendancies you have access to
You select one class
But then you can use any weapon you want
Any skill you want
And you build a accordingly
So you couldn't be multiple classes, fundamentally
I see
no I thought u can switch between 2 different loadouts
heard it from somewhere
That's not two different classes
You can weapon swap, and have part of your passive tree switch to match your other weapon set
something like that
No
No
Again, you are a single class
ic, so that's just misinformation
Yeah, someone has misunderstood something
The intent is to allow a monk to swap back and forth between say fire damage and frost damage
Not to swap off of being a monk
You can swap between a dagger weapon set and a quarterstaff weapon set.
yeah this ik, I just heard u can have different loadouts per character and swap between them
like ascendency loadouts
prob this ^^
Ah nah, they are hard locked atm.
talks of having respec was mentioned, but not in the game
so once you pick, your locked in.
ic ty
you do get weapon swap passive points to slightly change your tree for each weapon swap. not nearly enough for 2 completely different builds
Ok dumb question. Is everyone able to play POE2 on Friday for open beta or no?
If you got a key, yes you can
How do you get keys?
It's a 💳 beta
Buy or get from someone who got extras
you can buy a pack on the website or launcher/console of choice
Or 480€ lifetime purchases
steam/epic launchers
It's funny how the same questions get asked, all the time
How would I check how much I've spent over the years?
if you've spent enough, you'll get a key before ea launches
best guess is using the transcations page.
but dont think they have a actual method
https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/transactions
there is a third party tool that calculates it
Anyone know how critical strike chance works? I see some spells have an inherit value, say I got like 50% critical strike chance from the passive tree, is that 50 percent of the value of the spell or it adds it to the value of the spell
How it worked in poe1:
(base crit + added crit) * sum of Inc crit * product of more crit
So if gem has 8% base crit, and you allocate a new 50%inc crit chance. Your effective crit chance will be 8+. 5*8 = 12% chance
I dont see why this would have changed going into poe2
Awesome thank you
Trigger Doom Blast when Curses from Supported Skills expire
Is an enemy dieing considered to cause the curse to expire or does it need to expire before it dies?
Hey all!
I'm a casual player and really debating which class to main, wondering what level is enough to tell if the class clicks to me or not..
if you're gonna play to a theme, then the first few areas might be indicative enough
wdym?
like if you pick warrior and only use maces and slams instead of minions and spells
Whats rhe difference between magnitude and effect of ignite
What level you think is enough to get enough mechanics for the class skills to tell if it's fun enough or not?
maybe 10 or so?
Gotcha
HArd to say tbh
More supports = smoother gameplay loop essentially
A lot of skills will feel like ass till they're uniq'd and 6'ld
Yeah but i don't feel like progressing the campaign with a class i later on will not enjoy playing, so i kinda plan on grinding and level up in early stages to get a feeling
Well, maybe not feel like ass, but in comparison to full filled out
That's fair
I think you're better off identifying what archetypes you like more than what class
You wanna melee? cast? shoot?
You want slow hard melee, or fast weak melee?
monk for fast paced. warrior for slow, heavy
that's the part i'm having trouble answering
You wanna go fast or hit hard, that's the real question
Apparently, johnathan is saying melee is legit strong
So, either is a good choice
monk seems to have a lot more micromanagement with charges/stacks etc
Tending to go with "go fast" but would still like to at least try the slow hard of warrior
As to where warrior is "How hard can i make this hit"
So I'll mess around with each class until level 10 and see how it goes i guess
Are POE/2 cosmetics limited time only or are they available permanently?
Not talking about the EA supporter packs.
Also, what's the difference between the Witch and Sorceress besides Ascendancy?
