Eggwars Solo And Other Gamemodes

A return of eggwars solo? It was removed at least a year ago, i really liked playing it, but others too, https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/java-eggwars-question.379647/, i understand that it had a low player count but it also gave the option to just play alone or play with other people. Sometimes a message would pop up on the cubecraft website for example about this gamemode, solo eggwars and when it would return, but every time the mods and staff would tell you:' Right now the gamemode is offline due to the low player count wich is why it got removed, but maybe it will return in the future.' It has been a long time and i think that we will need a clear answer on the question: Are Eggwars Solo and for example Team Skywars and Team Luckyblocks ever going to return to the java network or will we never see the gamemodes again?

I think because solo need less players to start a mach they can actually bring it back

It will just split the eggwars community right?

So it will drop the team eggwars playercount so it will be much more difficult to fill up those games

That indeed is true, but the eggwars solo community would probably still be small, so the effect on team would be moderate to little. With the actual split in players and the real player count, i think we should just introduce the gamemode for a short time to the network and see how it goes, just because its a long time ago since people played egg solo for the last time.

I agree, its always worth to try it out but the eggwars playerbase isnt that big. its difficult to fill up all the games in the afternoon/morning/late evening. So it will only make it more difficult to fill up the team eggwars games in those moments if you add solo eggwars.

i always loved solo eggwars tho

Yeah fair, but there is not really a choice its, team and solo with less players in game and the split in eggwars, or its just egg team that stays and egg solo will not return, but thats why i just really want to test it to see if i really am the only person with for example you, and a small group or if there are more of these people out there that liked/like playing egg solo. The whole thing with team and solo is difficult but if we can test it once we will have an answer. Just ignore the morning and evening, because even team eggwars today has a low player count or even non existing on those times.

Evening/morning are the times that you could possibly play on asia/Na but the playerbase there isnt big enough to play on those times

Yeah, and pvp would be hard because of high ping, i think we can both agree that we dont like playing with high ping

Regarding EggWars Solo, it's true less players were needed for a game to start, out of my head this was 8, the main issue was, out of my experience aswell, it could take quite long for this game to actually fill up and start quickly, personally I don't feel like returning Solo EggWars would have a good effect, but of course that's my opinion at this moment.

Regarding the ping issue, the server will automatically send you to a lobby/game where the most players are active at that moment, during European night times, the NA/Asian servers are more popular, simply since most EU players would be asleep. During this times, I'm not entirely sure what the playercount is, and I don't really have a direct answer for that specific question
